Chen Yuan followed Xi Yan into the restaurant, and as soon as they sat down, a waiter brought the menu.
Xi Yan handed the menu to Chen Yuan, "You order."
Chen Yuan paused before taking it and politely asked, "Do you have any dietary restrictions?"
He shrugged, "No, just order whatever you like."
After saying yes, Shen Yuan opened the menu, took a few glances at it, and ordered a few main dishes.
"That's all, thank you."
Xi Yan stared at her and frowned, "Are you full after ordering so little?"
Chen Yuan was stunned for a moment. How fat was she? Did he think six dishes wouldn't be enough to satisfy her?
"That's enough." She whispered and fell silent again.
Xi Yan's eyes were fixed on her, making her feel a little uncomfortable.
"Why are you staring at me?"
He just chuckled and said, "I thought you were very frugal with words and were reluctant to say a single word to me."
She paused, but they were not familiar with each other, and she couldn't talk to him endlessly, right?
Besides, they don't have anything in common to talk about.
Xi Yan stared at the dazed woman in front of him and found her more and more interesting.
Chen Yuan was feeling uncomfortable all over, but fortunately the waiter brought the main course and she breathed a sigh of relief.
We'll each eat our own food later. He shouldn't keep staring at me, right?
But she was wrong. Not only was Xi Yan still staring at her, but there was also a hint of amusement in his eyes.
Just as she was trying to finish the meal quickly, a figure appeared at the door.

"What are you doing here?"
Gu Jisui frowned. Shouldn’t he be here?

Gu Jisui clenched his fists and was about to take action when Chen Yuan immediately stood up and blocked his view.

Gu Jisui frowned when he heard her words. In his eyes, Chen Yuan's explanation became protecting others.
He was away on a business trip for three days, and Shen Yuan didn't contact him once, but he was like a fool, worried that she was being bullied at home.
He finished a week's work in three days and rushed back, but she was here having dinner with another man and protecting him in front of him?
Gu Jisui gritted his teeth, grabbed Chen Yuan's wrist and walked out.
Xi Yan stared at the backs of the two men and laughed disdainfully. Even the dignified Gu Jisui would get angry over a woman. He is no different from the rest of us.
Gu Jisui walked very fast, and Shen Yuan staggered and her wrist hurt because of him pulling her.
"A Sui, you misunderstood. It's not what you saw."
She wanted to explain, but Gu Jisui wouldn't listen and instead held her hand tighter and tighter.
Chen Yuan was pinched by him and frowned in pain, "Gu Jisui, you hurt me, let go!"
Gu Jisui dragged her to the front of the car, and Special Assistant Song consciously avoided her when he saw this.
She was pushed against the front of the car by Gu Jisui. Looking at his gloomy face, Chen Yuan suddenly felt angry and aggrieved.
Why can't I just listen to her explanation? Is she really that untrustworthy?
"Chen Yuan, no matter what happens today, I warn you to be careful about your identity outside and don't challenge my bottom line again and again!"
She suddenly felt that Gu Jisui was really a stranger at this moment. Seeing that he didn't trust her so much, she didn't even want to explain.

Gu Jisui came back to his senses and grabbed her, "Where are you going?"

"You can go back by yourself. I still have things to do."
After saying that, he strode away, rubbing his wrist. A handprint was left on Shen Yuan's fair wrist, which was red and painful.
Damn you bastard, why didn't you just break it off for her?!
He looked at Shen Yuan's back and felt anxious and uneasy.
After all this commotion, Chen Yuan lost his mood and simply went back to the pet shop.
Gu Jisui was not in a better mood either, and he got angry with the employees in the company.
Special Assistant Song, who was exhausted, finally couldn't stand it anymore and decided to risk his life to enlighten his boss.
"Mr. Gu, I have something I want to report to you."
Gu Jisui had a dark face, as if he owed him eight million.
"What's up?"
