At night, in a rented apartment, the owner, Sun Lihong, sat on a worn sofa, facing the TV. The news was playing news about the clothing store, but Sun Lihong's eyes were fixed on the screen, as if searching for something.
Her face looked tired and haggard, her hair disheveled and dry, just like the state she was in at the moment. Her eyes revealed deep resentment and unwillingness, an emotion deeply etched in her soul.
A worn work badge on the table caught Sun Lihong's eye. It had once been her pride, proof of her employment at the clothing store. But now, it had been slashed so badly with a knife that it was difficult to discern its original appearance. Sun Lihong's gaze lingered on the badge for a long time, as if she were reminiscing, or perhaps pondering something.
Her name, Sun Lihong, was engraved on her work badge. A name that once brought her pride, it now became a burden. Because of the incident, she was fired from the clothing store and ostracized from the industry. She tried to find other work, but without any special skills, she was met with setbacks. Even when she tried to find a part-time job, no one was willing to take her on.
In desperation, she had no choice but to sell her property and prepare to leave the country. However, this was not an easy decision, and her heart was full of contradictions and struggles. She hated the man who made her lose everything, but she also hated this society because it left her with nowhere to survive.
The rented apartment was now filled with a gloomy and dreary atmosphere. Only the sound of the television broke the silence, making the night seem even more eerie.
Sun Lihong clutched her work badge tightly, slashed beyond recognition by a knife. The resentment and resentment in her eyes gave way to deep helplessness. She knew she couldn't undo what she had lost, but she didn't want to give up. She couldn't stand this unfair world.
There is a fierce light in her eyes, which is her resistance to fate and her confusion about the future. Her life has become a mess, but she is still trying to find a way out and a glimmer of hope for survival.
The atmosphere in the room grew increasingly oppressive, and Sun Lihong's breathing became increasingly rapid. She felt a surge of unresolved anger in her chest, a deep sense of powerlessness, a loneliness of being abandoned by the world.
The sound of the television echoed through the house. It was a news report about a clothing store, and a familiar name appeared on the screen—the shop where she once worked. Sun Lihong's eyes widened instantly, and her heart seemed to stop beating. She thought of that man, the man who had made her lose everything. Her anger was rekindled, a deep-seated hatred, an unbearable pain.
The light in the room flickered in Sun Lihong's eyes. She looked particularly thin on the worn sofa. Her eyes revealed a deep despair, which was her disappointment in the world and in herself.
She decided that if she couldn't stay here anymore, she should go abroad! At least there was a chance to start over.
The next day, she packed her luggage for the rental house and booked a flight ticket.
Sun Lihong felt heavy-hearted. She looked down at her suitcase, its fine texture and smooth surface reflecting the street lights. It was her only remaining possession. She sighed and, with heavy steps, set off for the airport.
It was a dark alley, dimly lit only by distant streetlights. A chilly wind howled, bringing a biting chill. Sun Lihong couldn't help but wrap herself tightly around her coat, but even so, the wind still cut her cheeks like a knife. Her eyes were filled with helplessness and despair, their once bright eyes now dimmed.
Her heart was filled with confusion and fear. The future she had planned now seemed out of reach. She had imagined various possible outcomes, but this one was the one she least expected. She couldn't help but doubt her decision to leave this country, this place filled with pain and memories.
Suddenly, a dark shadow flashed from behind her, and a big hand slapped her shoulder. Sun Lihong turned around in horror, only to see a strange man staring at her viciously, his eyes full of desire and evil.
"Don't resist, or I won't be polite!" the man threatened, holding Sun Lihong's luggage tightly in his hands.
Sun Lihong was frightened by the man's threats. She could only watch helplessly as he snatched her luggage and disappeared into the dark alley. She stood there, leaning against the wall, feeling even more desperate and helpless.
The robbery of her luggage dealt another blow to Sun Lihong's already broken heart. She stood there with a hollow look in her eyes, as if she had lost all hope and courage. She looked up ahead, but saw only darkness and confusion.
The airport seemed so far away that she stood there, unable to move. The cold wind howled again, making her shiver.
The man stole her things and seemed to be attracted by her body. Sun Lihong was so scared that she had to run away.
Finally, she arrived at a spooky abandoned factory, surrounded by barren grasslands and dilapidated houses. A sense of unease rose in her heart, but she had nowhere else to go. She could only bite the bullet and continue forward. If she turned back, she would be caught by the man.
She pushed open the rusty iron door and walked into a hall filled with an eerie atmosphere. There was no light here, only a faint glow from a dilapidated window in the distance. Her footsteps echoed in the empty room, seeming particularly clear.
Suddenly, a cold wind blew past, making her shiver involuntarily. She turned around and looked, only to see a tattered curtain fluttering in the wind. She felt a strong sense of unease, as if something was quietly approaching her.
She started running, trying to escape this horrible place, but the chill on her back grew stronger and stronger, as if something was following her. She turned around and saw with horror a black shadow rushing towards her quickly.
Sun Lihong's screams echoed in the empty factory, her heartbeat pounding in her ears. She struggled to run forward, but the shadow kept getting closer. Her body was suddenly pulled away by a huge force, and she lost consciousness.
When she woke up, she found herself tied to a broken chair, surrounded by a barren meadow and dilapidated houses.
