Chapter 797: Deportation

He sat alone on the leather sofa in the office, the documents in his hands smelling of ink.

It was an investigative report that listed evidence of his alleged perjury. He felt a sense of crisis he had never felt before, a fear that welled up from the depths of his heart, like a dark vortex that was relentlessly swallowing him.

His fingers, usually nimble and powerful, now slid weakly across the document.

He raised his tired eyes and looked at the city view outside the window.

It was a unique sight. The tall buildings sparkled in the sun, as if mocking him. The sights that had once made him happy now only made him feel deeply powerless.

He knew he needed to find a solution to the problem.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He knew he needed to calm down and find a solution to the problem. He began to think and look for a way out.

He began pacing back and forth in his office, each step carrying determination and strength. His demeanor revealed his anxiety and nervousness, but also a firmness and resolve. He knew he had to face this, no matter what the outcome.

He took a deep breath and thought to himself: It seems that my recent behavior has been noticed by others. I must act more carefully and not let anyone discover my secret.

So, he immediately dialed a number. When the other party answered, he said in a deep voice, "It's me, Xu Zhixu. Someone has already started investigating my evidence of perjury. You should be careful."

A serious voice came from the other end of the phone, "Okay, Mr. Xu, we understand. We will strengthen security measures to ensure your safety."

After Xu Zhixu hung up the phone, he sat in his office, lost in thought. He knew this secret investigation wouldn't stop, and he had to be even more cautious. He began to re-evaluate his actions, wondering if there were any flaws.

Just as he was lost in thought, there was another knock on the office door. Xu Zhixu frowned and called out impatiently, "Come in."

The door opened, and this time a woman in professional attire came in. She looked capable and confident, and sat down at her desk as soon as she entered the office.

"Mr. Xu, I am the lawyer in charge of this investigation. My name is Li Li." The woman introduced herself.

Xu Zhixu looked at her, wondering why she came. He said calmly, "Lawyer Li, what can I do for you?"

Li Li got straight to the point and said, "I heard you're suspected of perjury. I hope you can cooperate with our investigation."

Xu Zhixu sneered and said, "I have not done anything illegal, let alone perjury.

Li Li looked at him seriously and said, "Mr. Xu, do you know that perjury is illegal?"

Xu Zhixu did not answer immediately. He was silent for a moment.

Then he slowly said, "I understand, but I didn't do it. The evidence you investigated is nothing but misunderstandings and coincidences."

Li Li looked at him, a hint of doubt in her eyes. She flipped through the documents in her hand and said, "Mr. Xu, I hope you understand that we don't suspect you without reason. This evidence was collected during the court trials you participated in."

Xu Zhixu interrupted her impatiently and said, "Those are just misunderstandings. I didn't commit perjury."

Li Li looked at him with a firm gaze, "In that case, I hope you can cooperate with us to clear up the misunderstanding."

Xu Zhixu took a deep breath. He knew that if he wanted to get rid of this trouble, he had to face it head-on. He decided to cooperate with Li Li, hoping to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

"Okay, I'll fully cooperate with your investigation," Xu Zhixu said, but he sighed inwardly. He knew this matter wouldn't be easy to resolve. He needed to find ways to protect his reputation while also dealing with the investigation.

Li Li looked at him, a hint of satisfaction in her eyes. She knew that this case was not a simple one. If Xu Zhixu was really involved in perjury, then he would face serious legal consequences. But now, at least there was a direction for the investigation.

Gu Jisui's guess was correct. After this trick, Xu Zhixu did have a guilty look on his face. It seemed that he was the mastermind behind the scenes!

After seeing Li Li off, he sat on the chair with a heavy heart.

Xu Zhixu felt under tremendous pressure, like a heavy mountain pressing on his chest, making it almost impossible for him to breathe.

If his perjury were exposed, wouldn't his efforts to send Bai Lan abroad be in vain? This question kept echoing in his mind, like an inescapable curse.

The afterglow of the setting sun shines in through the window, dyeing the room golden.

Xu Zhixu sat in the dim light, the lines on his face becoming more distinct. His eyes were deep and complex, like a complex maze that was impossible to decipher. His hands were clenched into fists, and his fair skin looked a little pale from nervousness.

His heart was filled with struggle and contradiction. He looked out the window at the setting sun, his eyes flickering with an indescribable emotion. He felt like he was trapped in an inescapable predicament, and the road ahead was full of unknowns and dangers.

Under this heavy pressure, Xu Zhixu's body also seemed a little stiff. His shoulders were tense and his back was straight, as if he was trying his best to support this huge mountain of pressure.

However, despite his inner worries and anxieties, Xu Zhixu's eyes revealed a resolute light. He gritted his teeth and was determined to solve this problem, even if it meant paying a huge price.

Thinking of this, Xu Zhixu came up with an idea, which was to send all those who knew the truth out of the country.

At this moment, the afterglow of the setting sun shone on him, giving his silhouette a golden glow.

He stood up, walked to the window, and looked at the sunset outside. There was no expression on his face, but there was a resolute light in his eyes.

The first thing he thought of was the witness. He had no choice but to do this first!

Xu Zhixu immediately drove to the witness's home. It was dusk, and the sky was beautiful. His car sped along the wide road, stirring up a gust of wind.

His mind raced, considering every possible detail and possible contingency, constantly wondering how he could ensure his plan was foolproof.

When his car stopped at the gate of the witness's community, his mood became even heavier.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself.

He walked up the stairs, his heart beating faster, and he felt the pressure increasing with each step.
