Chapter 806 No Appetite

This morning, sunlight shines through the gorgeous curtains into the study of the Gu family villa.

The furnishings in the study were elegant, and the combination of the paintings on the wall and the furniture all showed the owner's taste. At this moment, Gu Jisui was standing in front of the study window, gazing at the scenery outside.

Gu Jisui's brows reveal an innate dominance and calmness. Wearing a dark suit, he looks more mature and steady.

At this time, the Gu family's housekeeper, an old man about fifty years old with a weathered face, was standing in the study, reporting Shen Yuan's situation to Gu Jisui.

"Master, based on my observation, Madam seems to be a little absent-minded recently and often distracted." The butler said with a little worry.

"What's the matter? Madam, are you worried?" Gu Jisui frowned, looking worried.

"I'm not very clear about it, but the lady's mental state is indeed not very good. Her appetite has decreased a lot recently, and she often only eats a little bit of nutritious meals." The housekeeper said with a worried look on his face.

"She often only eats a little of the nutritious meals you ordered the kitchen to prepare. If this continues, Madam's health will be ruined," the butler added.

Gu Jisui frowned, his eyes becoming worried.

"As far as I know, the lady didn't mention anything unpleasant. But I feel that she seems to be in a bad mood and may need your care and company."

Gu Jisui was silent for a moment after hearing this, "I understand, I will find time to talk to her.

Gu Jisui looked at the scenery outside the window, his heart full of worries.

He knew how important Shen Yuan was to him, and he didn't want to see her get hurt.

"I'll find the reason." He sighed deeply, then turned to the butler, "Thank you, you've worked hard these days."

The butler smiled slightly and expressed his gratitude, "This is what I should do, Master."

That day, Gu Jisui still went out to work early.

Shen Yuan was left alone at home.

She sat at a gorgeous dining table with a table full of nutritious delicacies in front of her.

Her brow was furrowed, her eyes filled with trouble and worry. Before her was a rich, nutritious meal, bright in color and tempting in smell, yet she had no appetite.

She wore an exquisite dress embroidered with elegant peony patterns, showing her noble temperament.

Her hair was carefully combed into a stylish bun, adorned with an emerald hairpin, adding to her dignified appearance. She was slender and graceful, her elegant demeanor complementing her gorgeous attire. Yet, at this moment, her demeanor seemed a little tired and worried, and her once lively eyes now seemed somewhat dim.

Her face was slightly pale, her originally bright eyes now looked a little dim, her brows were furrowed, and she was obviously in worry.

She gently put down the chopsticks in her hand and frowned slightly, "I have no appetite, take them all away."

She said softly, her tone revealing a hint of fatigue and helplessness.

The butler stood aside, silently observing Shen Yuan's expression. He saw through her bad mood, so he replied respectfully: "Okay, if Madam is hungry, please tell me at any time, and I will ask someone to make another one immediately." His voice was respectful and concerned.

"Um."

Shen Yuan only responded perfunctorily, his eyes still fixed on the table in front of him, as if he was thinking about something. Seeing that the butler seemed to be afraid to move, Shen Yuan waved his hand tiredly, signaling the butler to remove the plates.

The housekeeper then took it away.

The surrounding atmosphere fell into a brief silence, with only the sound of silverware colliding echoing in the air. Shen Yuan sighed softly.

She stood up and slowly walked to the window, looking at the bright sunshine outside, but her thoughts could not calm down.

Her heart was filled with worry and doubt about Gu Jisui.

Shen Yuan's fingers unconsciously grasped the curtains, tears flashed in her eyes, and endless thoughts surged in her heart. She didn't know how to face this reality, let alone how to get herself out of this predicament.

The housekeeper silently watched Shen Yuan's back, his heart filled with worry and concern. He knew that what Shen Yuan needed now was comfort and support, but he also understood that some things could not be forced. He stood silently aside, waiting for Shen Yuan's instructions.

Shen Yuan took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.

She knew she couldn't dwell on the problem forever, she needed to find something to do, to distract herself.

Chen Yuan decided to walk out of the restaurant. She needed to get some fresh air and sort out her thoughts.

She walked gracefully, her figure slender and graceful, her long arms gently swinging, her gorgeous clothes gleaming in the light. Her face was still beautiful, but now there was a hint of worry between her brows.

She walked out onto the garden terrace, took a deep breath of the cool air, and looked up at the sky.

"Madam, do you need me to prepare some hot tea for you?" the butler asked softly behind her.

Shen Yuan slowly turned around, looked at the housekeeper, and nodded slightly, "Okay, thank you."

The housekeeper smiled slightly and replied respectfully, "Okay, ma'am, I'll prepare it right away."

Chen Yuan continued to gaze at the scenery in the garden, her heart still conflicted.

She knew she needed to make a decision and face reality.

Shen Yuan stood on the terrace, looking at the layers of flowers in the garden, feeling the cool breeze on her cheeks. Her mood gradually calmed down, and she began to seriously think about the problem she faced.

She felt an indescribable fatigue, which was the struggle and helplessness deep in her heart.

Hot tea was ready, and the butler walked to Shen Yuan with an exquisite porcelain cup. The hot steam from the rim of the cup slowly rose in the cold air.

She took the cup and took a sip.

The sweetness and warmth of the hot tea comforted her. She took a deep breath and looked into the depths of the garden again.

In the early morning sunshine, Chen Yuan leaned on a rattan chair in the garden.

Her face was serene and beautiful, and her eyes held a deep thought, as if she were reminiscing about the past. Her hair, as black as the night, fluttered in the wind amidst the fragrance of the garden.

In the garden, the blossoms sway gently in the breeze, like welcoming smiles. Roses, peonies, chrysanthemums, jasmine...the colorful blossoms appear particularly beautiful against the backdrop of green leaves.

Shen Yuan's garden resembles a vibrant palette, rich and harmonious. She loves nature and meticulously cares for each flower. Her garden boasts not only a variety of beautiful flowers but also a variety of plant sculptures, adding an artistic touch.

At this moment, she was leaning on the rattan chair with her eyes slightly closed, as if enjoying this peaceful moment.
