Su Yao looked at him, her heart filled with complicated emotions.
"Come on, sing a song too, or we can sing together." Xu Zhixu put his arm around Su Yao's waist.
Xu Zhixu's breath lingered in her ears, and his eyes were deep and full of charm.
Su Yao felt her heartbeat quicken. She was a little nervous, but also filled with an inexplicable excitement and anticipation.
Xu Zhixu's breath was right next to Su Yao's ear, making her heart beat faster. She swallowed nervously, gently pushed Xu Zhixu away, shook her head and said, "I, I can't do it."
Xu Zhixu smiled, said nothing, walked to the song request booth and selected a classic old song.
The music started, Xu Zhixu sang affectionately, Su Yao listened to the song and looked at Xu Zhixu.
His voice was indeed beautiful, and he sang with deep emotion. Although his facial expression did not change much, Su Yao knew that he was seriously devoted.
When the song ended, applause broke out in the box.
"You sing really well." Su Yao praised sincerely.
Xu Zhixu looked at Su Yao and smiled, "Have you heard this song?"
"Well, my mother likes it very much." Su Yao said.
"It seems like you are familiar with this song. Let's sing it together."
"I...I can't sing." She answered quietly, trying to hide her nervousness.
"It's okay, I'll teach you." Xu Zhixu said with a smile, his voice gentle and magnetic.
So, they began to sing together. Xu Zhixu guided Su Yao, her voice floating in the air, intertwining with his voice to form a beautiful song. Their eyes met, each filled with tenderness and affection.
At this moment, their bodies were so close that their heartbeats seemed to echo in their ears. Su Yao felt an unprecedented feeling, a mixture of excitement, tension, pleasure and ambiguity.
After singing the song, Xu Zhixu gently let go of Su Yao, their eyes still meeting.
Su Yao felt her face burning and she didn't know what to say.
"You sing so well." Xu Zhixu said softly, his voice full of praise and appreciation.
"Thank you." Su Yao answered softly, her voice still trembling.
Xu Zhixu licked his dry lips gently, his eyes lingering on Su Yao's cheek for a while.
Su Yao felt her heartbeat quicken, and she swallowed nervously.
"You are really beautiful." Xu Zhixu whispered, his voice a little hoarse.
Su Yao's lips opened slightly, she didn't know how to answer.
Xu Zhixu took a deep breath, his eyes wandered over Su Yao's face, and then stopped on her lips again.
Su Yao felt her body begin to tremble. She felt a little scared, but also a little expectant.
Xu Zhixu licked his lips again, his hands tightened slightly, and then slowly moved towards Su Yao's waist.
Holding her waist, Xu Zhixu's eyes were full of tenderness. He gently raised his hand and stroked Su Yao's cheek.
Su Yao felt her heart beating faster. She didn't know what Xu Zhixu would do next, but her heart was full of anticipation.
Xu Zhixu slowly lowered his chin and gently moved closer to Su Yao's lips.
Su Yao's breathing became rapid, she closed her eyes nervously, waiting for Xu Zhixu's kiss.
However, at this moment, there was a knock on the door.
Su Yao and Xu Zhixu were both stunned for a moment. Their eyes were still connected, but their bodies gradually separated.
"Who?" Xu Zhixu asked.
"It's me." A voice came from outside the door. It was Su Yao's friend.
Xu Zhixu and Su Yao looked at each other, and there was a hint of disappointment in their eyes.
Then, Xu Zhixu slowly put down his hand, and Su Yao also breathed a sigh of relief.
"Are you in such a hurry?" Xu Zhixu asked.
"We were originally scheduled for tomorrow, but something changed and we need to leave early," my friend said. "I knew you were coming here, but you didn't answer my calls, so I had no choice but to find you here. You should hurry up and get ready too."
"Okay." Xu Zhixu replied. He turned his head and said to Su Yao, "Something happened at the company, so I have to go on a business trip for a while. Next time I will make it up to you and take you out for a big meal."
Su Yao nodded, she felt her mood was a little complicated.
She didn't know whether the moment just now was just her imagination, or whether Xu Zhixu was really interested in her.
However, she knew that she could no longer face her feelings calmly that night.
Before Su Yao and Xu Zhixu walked out of the room, Xu Zhixu opened the car door for Su Yao until they reached the parking lot. After she got in, he walked to the other side and got into the driver's seat.
The car slowly drove out of the parking lot and passed through the bustling streets. Outside the car window was the colorful city, like flowing ribbons, dancing in the night.
But Su Yao was in no mood to appreciate the beautiful night view. She stared ahead, the dim light of the street lamp shining through the car window onto her face, making her tired look even more obvious.
Her eyes were filled with complex emotions: loss, regret, and deep helplessness.
Her mind was filled with confused thoughts, like a tangled ball of thread, with no clue what to do.
She stared at the dim lights outside the window. The faces reflected in the window seemed like her reflection, with deep fatigue and helplessness.
The neon lights on the street became blurred and dim in her eyes, and her heart was filled with chaos and confusion.
She felt like a person groping in the dark, not knowing where the road ahead was, and could only move forward step by step based on her intuition.
Her hand gripped the door handle tightly, and she felt the cold metal at her fingertips.
The air in the car became stuffy, and Su Yao's breathing became heavy.
She closed her eyes and tried to calm herself, but those complicated emotions hit her heart like a raging flood.
"Are you leaving now?" Su Yao asked suddenly, with a barely perceptible tremor in her voice.
"Yes," Xu Zhixu replied, his eyes fixed intently on the road ahead, his tone filled with apology. "Something changed suddenly, and I have to go on a long business trip. There's nothing I can do."
"Oh." Su Yao said softly, and then their conversation fell into silence. Her mood suddenly became heavy, as if she was shrouded in dark clouds.
The car drove to Su Yao's door and Xu Zhixu stopped the car. Su Yao sighed softly, then unbuckled her seat belt and prepared to get out of the car.
"Su Yao." Xu Zhixu's voice echoed in the empty carriage.
"Hmm?" Su Yao looked at him, with a hint of hesitation and apology on his face.
"Can we meet again when I come back?" Xu Zhixu said softly, his eyes full of sincerity and expectation.
