Chapter 846: Provoking the Wrong Person

The scenery outside the car window kept changing. The once bustling city was gradually replaced by the desolate suburbs. The trees on both sides of the road became sparse, and the lights became scarce. Shen Yuan felt an inexplicable fear. She didn't know where she was going, nor did she know who this man was.

She tried to ask, but the man didn't seem to hear her. His eyes were firm and cold, as if everything was under his control. Shen Yuan's heart was filled with doubts and uneasiness, and she began to worry about her own safety.

As time went by, the car sped up and the road became increasingly remote. Shen Yuan felt a strong sense of crisis, unsure if she could reach her destination safely. She began to regret her decision, but there was no turning back.

Shen Yuan looked out the window, feeling somewhat puzzled. She had never seen this road before, and the buildings on both sides were becoming increasingly dilapidated, as if they had already left the bustling city behind.

"Where are we going? Isn't this road to my house?" she asked anxiously.

The man sitting in the driver's seat turned his head, his eyes were cold and his mouth curled up in a sneer: "Guess?"

Shen Yuan was startled. The man's eyes and voice made her feel a little uneasy. She began to doubt his identity and felt a little panicked.

She tried to open the car door, but it was locked. She looked at the man in horror: "Who are you? Open the door! Let me out of the car!"

The man sneered and continued driving intently. His demeanor seemed increasingly relaxed, as if he had the situation under control.

Shen Yuan felt her heartbeat getting faster and faster. She began to bang on the car door, but it didn't budge. She looked at the man and found that he was already wearing a mask, as if he had anticipated what was going to happen next.

The road became increasingly remote, with fewer and fewer buildings on both sides, and the surroundings were desolate. Shen Yuan felt her heart leaping into her throat, knowing she could no longer escape.

Finally, the car stopped.

The man sneered, took out a knife from his pocket, and put it against Shen Yuan's neck: "Don't move, or I will cut your throat."

Shen Yuan was so frightened that he was trembling all over and didn't dare to move.

The man dragged her out of the car and took her to a remote corner. It was deserted and dark, like a corner of death.

"Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?" Shen Yuan asked in horror.

The man sneered: "You don't need to know who I am, you just need to know that you have offended someone you shouldn't have offended."

Shen Yuan's heart tightened, she knew her life was threatened. She tried to calm down and think about how to escape.

"If you let me go, I won't do anything rash. I promise not to call the police or tell anyone." Shen Yuan tried to negotiate with the man.

The man sneered: "Do you think I will believe you? Do you think you still have a chance to escape?"

Shen Yuan's heart felt like it was being weighed down by a huge rock, heavy and suffocating. Her eyes were empty, and despair surged into her heart like a tide. She felt as if her throat was blocked by something, and even breathing became difficult.

She tried to comfort the man with words, her voice trembling and pleading: "Please, let me go. I won't do anything rash, and I won't say anything nonsense."

However, the man was like a cold sculpture, without a trace of emotion. His eyes were cold, as if he could see through Shen Yuan's heart. He sneered and said, "Don't think I don't know what you are thinking."

His voice was like a sharp knife, cutting open Shen Yuan's heart. She felt as if her body was frozen, unable to move.

The man tied Shen Yuan up tightly. He pulled her hair and forced her to look up at him. His eyes were filled with cruelty and pride, as if he was admiring his own work.

Then, he took out his phone and took a photo. In the photo, Shen Yuan was tied up, his eyes empty and terrified. This scene was like a cruel picture, making people feel heartbroken.

The surroundings seemed to blur, with only Shen Yuan and the man clearly visible. Their figures appeared extremely lonely and helpless under the light. At this moment, time seemed to stand still, with only the sounds of their breathing and heartbeats echoing in the air.

Shen Yuan's heart seemed to be squeezed by an invisible hand, making it impossible for her to breathe. She looked at the man, her eyes filled with fear and helplessness.

The man seemed oblivious to her feelings. He continued to smile, as if it was just a casual gesture. He took pictures while mocking her, "Do you think I'll believe you? I've seen many women like you."

Shen Yuan wanted to refute, but found that she didn't even have the strength to speak. She could only look at the man helplessly as he took her photo.

After taking the photo, the man smiled with satisfaction, then turned and left the room, leaving Shen Yuan alone, tied to the chair, unable to move.

The lights in the room were dim, with only a worn-out table lamp emitting a faint glow. Shen Yuan looked at everything around him, feeling as if he was trapped in an endless darkness.

She began to feel hopeless and helpless. She didn't know what to do or how to escape this predicament.

Time seemed to slow down, and every second felt like a year. Shen Yuan could only wait quietly, waiting for the man's return, waiting for the verdict of fate.

However, the man never showed up. Shen Yuan felt her body begin to stiffen, her hands and feet were numb from being tied, and even breathing became difficult.

She began to panic, to feel helpless. She didn't know how long she would be here, or if she would ever have a chance to escape.

The man stood in a dark corner, his figure almost blending into the night.

He held a mobile phone in his hand, and a photo was displayed on the screen. It was a photo of Shen Yuan being tied up.

There was a hint of a sneer on his face, as if he was admiring his own masterpiece.

Xu Zhixu sat in front of a large desk, tapping his fingers on the surface, making crisp sounds.

His eyes revealed anticipation and excitement, and when he saw the photos sent by the man, a smug smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

"Well, well done!" he said softly, "Gu Jisui, let's see how you fight me this time!"

He quickly replied with a message to the man: "Follow the plan."

The man looked at the message on the phone screen, a fierce look in his eyes.

He looked back at Shen Yuan who was tied to the chair, her face full of fear and helplessness.

He smiled coldly, and that smile seemed to come from the depths of hell.
