Yuan Le lowered his eyes and stared at Shen Yuan who had fainted on the ground, and sneered.
Just based on her, she wants to threaten me. What a fantasy!
She picked up her cell phone and made a call, but moments later, two sloppy-looking men walked into the stairwell.
"Not bad, quite pretty."
One of them pinched Shen Yuan's chin and looked at her, smiling maliciously.
Yuan Le folded his arms across his chest and looked down at him, "Take him away quickly, or we'll be in trouble if someone sees us."
The two of them worked together to carry the people on the ground onto their shoulders. Looking at their backs gradually walking away, Yuan Le raised the corners of his mouth with satisfaction.
Chen Yuan, this is the consequence of going against me. Don't blame me for being cruel. It's your bad luck.
In the box, Gu Jisui drank bottle after bottle and knocked down several grown men, but he didn't seem drunk at all.
"It's useless."
He looked at the drunken young men and cursed under his breath, then raised the bottle of wine. A few drops of wine slid down the corner of his mouth and landed on his sexy Adam's apple.
After drinking it all, he slammed the bottle heavily on the coffee table, as if he was venting something.
At the same time, the door of the box was pushed open by someone from outside, and the man who had just gone to the bathroom came back, but he looked flustered and anxious.
Gu Jisui frowned and stared at him breathing heavily. Why did he look like he was being chased by a dog?
"Gu, Gu Jisui." The man panted heavily, speaking incoherently, "Your wife was taken away."
Hearing this, Gu Jisui's heart moved, and he immediately put away his lazy look and sat up straight.
Who did he say was taken away?
"Speak clearly!" Gu Jisui growled.
The man paused for a few seconds before speaking, "I just saw two men taking your wife away. She was carried on their shoulders and looked like she was unconscious. You..."
Before he could finish his words, a figure flashed past him. When he came to his senses, he couldn't even see Gu Jisui's back.
Gu Jisui ran out like crazy. It was the first time in his life that he was so panicked, but he didn't realize it.
When he chased to the door, he happened to see two men stuffing a person into a van not far away.
Although he didn't see clearly, he was sure that the person who was stuffed into the car was Shen Yuan!
When he chased after them, one man had already gotten into the car, and the other had just stepped one foot in when he was pulled from behind.
The man fell heavily to the ground, swore something, and just as he got up, he was kicked down.
Gu Jisui breathed a sigh of relief only after confirming that the person in the car was Chen Yuan.
"Chen Yuan, wake up Chen Yuan."
She lay quietly in the back seat, and even though he called out twice, there was no response.
The man in the car heard the noise, picked up a stick and got out to help.
Gu Jisui wanted to pick up Chen Yuan, but he didn't realize that someone behind him had raised a wooden stick and pointed it at him.
The man aimed a heavy blow at Gu Jisui's head, but he managed to avoid the fatal blow because he bent down to hug Chen Yuan.
The stick fell heavily on his back. Gu Jisui leaned forward and groaned.
Turning around, he saw the person behind him raising the stick again, and he subconsciously used his arm to block it.
But before the stick fell, a pleasant whistle sounded, and the man's hand paused in mid-air.
After seeing someone in police uniform not far away, the two men ran away. Gu Jisui came to his senses and looked over.
It was his good friend who brought the KTV security. Without thinking too much, Gu Jisui carried Chen Yuan out.
"Are you okay?"
The man trotted to Gu Jisui. Fortunately, he was alert and called the security guard, otherwise there might be another person lying here.
Gu Jisui thanked him, but before the man could respond, Special Assistant Song's car stopped in front of him.
When he reacted, all that was left was the exhaust fumes from Gu Jisui's Bentley.
"Damn, you really value women over friends."
The man cursed under his breath and returned to the KTV to send the drunks home one by one.
In just a moment, Special Assistant Song drove the car to the Gu family compound. As soon as the car stopped, Gu Jisui got out of the car holding Chen Yuan.
"Contact the doctor."
After giving his instructions, he carried Shen Yuan into the house.
When Qin Mingyan saw that Chen Yuan was carried back, she started to act sarcastic.
"You reek of alcohol. If you knew, it would be fine. If you didn't, I'd think you brought back a nightclub girl."
Qin Mingyan was secretly slandering Chen Yuan, not knowing that the smell of alcohol in her mouth came from Gu Jisui.
"Which decent girl would go out drinking in the middle of the night..."
Qin Mingyan kept chattering, but was frightened into shutting up by Gu Jisui's cold look.
Gu Jisui carried Shen Yuan back to the bedroom, but a moment later, the family doctor was taken over by Special Assistant Song.
"Mr. Gu, don't worry, Madam is fine. I'll give her a few injections and she'll wake up."
The doctor said as he took out the acupuncture kit.
Gu Jisui only breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that Chen Yuan was not seriously injured.
Only after the doctor finished the acupuncture and confirmed that she would wake up the next morning did Gu Jisui go to wash up and rest.
The next morning, Chen Yuan opened his eyes drowsily. Apart from a slight pain at the back of his head, he felt nothing else.
After taking a look around and confirming that she was in Gu's house, Chen Yuan guessed that it was Gu Jisui who saved her again.
After a simple wash, Shen Yuan went to his room.
I knocked on the door, and within a few seconds, it opened.
Gu Jisui looked like he had just washed up, and he paused after seeing Chen Yuan.
Judging from her appearance, she should be fine.
"Um, thank you for last night."
