Seeing that Gu Jisui was frowning and not saying a word, Chen Yuan felt awkward.
Was her explanation a bit redundant? Or perhaps he didn't believe what he said?

Both of them slept until dawn. After hearing the knock on the door, Chen Yuan stretched and went to open it.
After seeing Gu Jisui standing outside the door dressed neatly, Shen Yuan was stunned.

Gu Jisui's gaze fell on her chest, and his face unconsciously turned red to the back of his ears. He quickly withdrew his gaze and coughed a few times tactically.
Chen Yuan came back to her senses and after noticing his burning gaze, she realized that she was only wearing a suspender nightgown, and the thin nightgown made the scenery of her chest vaguely visible because of her stretching.

After Gu Jisui left, Chen Yuan washed up, changed into a dress, and went downstairs.
Grandma Gu was also sitting at the dining table. When she saw Chen Yuan coming down, she immediately asked her to sit next to her.
Little did he know that Gu Jisui was unhappy because Chen Yuan did not sit with him.
After the three of them had breakfast downstairs, Gu Jisui took them away from the Gu family.
In just a moment, the car stopped steadily at the door of the destination.
When Chen Yuan was getting out of the car, she forgot that she was wearing high heels. She pushed too hard and her foot twisted. Just when she was about to fall flat on her face, Gu Jisui quickly supported her.
She lay on his strong chest and looked up to meet Gu Jisui's burning gaze.
The two of them stared at each other inexplicably for a few seconds, as if something was attracting each other.
It was not until she heard Grandma Gu's light cough that Shen Yuan came back to her senses and stood up straight immediately.
Grandma Gu had a look of being hurt, and she subconsciously glanced at Gu Jisui.
Why are his ears so red?
Chen Yuan pulled Grandma Gu into the banquet hall, and Gu Jisui followed behind.
The banquet hall was still being decorated. After Grandma Gu explained the process to Chen Yuan, Gu Jisui spoke, "Is there anything you don't like about the layout of the banquet hall? If there is anything you don't like, you can tell them and they will change it to your liking."
Hearing this, Shen Yuan paused. Was he asking for his opinion?
She looked it over and shook her head. "That's it. I like it very much."
Hearing this, Gu Jisui nodded. After confirming that there was no problem, the three of them left the banquet hall.
After sending Grandma Gu back to the old house, only Gu Jisui and Shen Yuan were left in the car.
She hesitated for a moment before she spoke, "Um...what about the betrothal gift list?"
Hearing this, Gu Jisui paused and said, "Just leave it to me, you don't have to worry."
Chen Yuan was stunned for a moment, then responded with an "OK," and the two of them ran out of topics to talk about.
