"Dean Lu and his men not only exploit those animals to make money, they also traffick people."
Gu Jisui listened to her quietly and sat down beside the bed.
"Don't worry, I will definitely find out everything and I will never let you suffer in vain."
Chen Yuan nodded lightly, she raised her eyes and stared at Gu Jisui. The doctor said that she had been in a coma for a week, and he had been guarding the ward day and night.
Gu Jisui seems to have lost a lot of weight...
"Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
Chen Yuan shook his head. Apart from feeling his throat a little dry, he didn't feel anything else.
"I'm a little hungry."
Gu Jisui paused and called Special Assistant Song.
"Buy some millet porridge and send it to the hospital."

Then, Su Yi and another man in police uniform came into view.
Chen Yuan stared at the two of them in shock for a moment. Seeing this, Gu Jisui explained, "This is my friend Su Yi, and the person next to him is his colleague. It was thanks to him that I was able to find you in time that day."
Hearing this, she came back to her senses and greeted him. Su Yi stared at Chen Yuan and paused.
“Hello, Miss Shen, we are here to find you to understand the situation at that time. I hope you can cooperate with us.”
Chen Yuan was stunned for a moment, then nodded. Su Yi then asked Gu Jisui and Special Assistant Song to leave.
He and his colleagues recorded Shen Yuan's statement.
"Ms. Shen, do you remember what happened before you were kidnapped? What took you away, and who contacted you during that time?"
Shen Yuan frowned, thinking carefully about everything that happened that day.
"That day I went to the welfare home and noticed something was amiss with Director Lu, so I followed him. I was led into an alley and knocked unconscious. When I woke up, I found myself in an abandoned warehouse. I didn't see anyone until three days later, when two men took me to the docks."
Hearing this, Su Yi paused. Does this mean that she had been left in an abandoned warehouse to fend for herself for the past three days?
"Did you see the appearance of those two people clearly?"
Chen Yuan shook his head. "Those two people were wearing masks and even used voice changers. When we got to the dock, they put a hood on me. I don't know anything after that."
After taking notes, Su Yi closed the notebook and looked at Chen Yuan.
He seemed to know why Gu Jisui's iron tree suddenly bloomed.
"Thank you for your cooperation. Have a good rest. We are going back to report."
Shen Yuan nodded and called Su Yi again, "Um...thank you for saving me."
Su Yi paused, then pulled his lips and said, "You're welcome, this is my duty, not to mention that you are my buddy's woman."
She paused, and when she came to her senses, the only sound left was the door closing.
Through the small window, you can see Su Yi talking to Gu Jisui.
Not knowing what the two were talking about, Gu Jisui suddenly turned around and stared at her. Chen Yuan was stunned for a moment, then smiled at him.
It was a long time before Gu Jisui returned to the ward. Chen Yuan had been bored looking at her phone the whole day, so Gu Jisui sat on the sofa and worked on his computer.
When she felt sleepy, she would take a nap. When she woke up again, it was already evening. She sat up and found that Gu Jisui had fallen asleep on the sofa.
She paused, got out of bed, took a blanket, and gently covered him with it.
She stared at the sleeping Gu Jisui for a moment, wondering if he was dreaming, but his handsome brows were furrowed.
After covering him with the blanket, Shen Yuan was about to withdraw her hand when Gu Jisui suddenly grabbed her wrist.
She was stunned for a moment, only to see him open his eyes, with a hint of panic in his eyes.
After seeing Shen Yuan, he paused and then let her go.
"Are you awake? Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?"
Chen Yuan shook her head and said, "I'm not hungry yet. If you're tired, you can go back to the hotel and rest for a while."
She didn't want Gu Jisui to be exhausted because of her.
But she didn't know that Gu Jisui was afraid that something would happen to her as soon as he left, and he would even feel anxious if he went out for a short while.
Gu Jisui's eyes fell on Chen Yuan's bare feet. He frowned, stood up and picked her up.
Shen Yuan was startled by her actions, and when she reacted, he had already put her on the bed.
"Don't go barefoot, you'll catch a cold."
Gu Jisui tucked the cup for her and then sat on the stool.
"Call me if you need any help. The doctor said you need to rest more."
Hearing this, Shen Yuan paused and said, "Okay."
She lay on the pillow and looked at Gu Jisui who was sitting in the chair and yawning.
After a moment of hesitation, she moved to the side.
"A Sui, do you want to come up and sleep for a while?"
