Chapter 8: Dirty and Troublesome
The old lady glanced at Grandma Wu.
But the words were directed to Yu Shengsheng.
"The blood of the Su family has no reason to be left outside, and it can't be taken away with just a few words of coaxing."
Her gaze slowly turned to Yu Shengsheng, sharp as substance.
"We in the Su family don't have such a mean bone in our body."
What a deceitful person! The old lady defined her and Grandma Wu as such with just a few words. If she continued to insist, it would mean that she was deceived by Grandma Wu. If she was defined as someone who deceived a young girl into leaving home, she would definitely not survive.
"Go and get the medicine." The old lady ordered in a deep voice.
Grandma Wu struggled to get up, and Yu Shengsheng was also picked up from the ground by Su Dingqin.
"Put away your worthless look."
Su Dingqin was so angry that his chest heaved. His father and elder brother were both very powerful on the battlefield, and Ayi was also able to kill enemies and make meritorious deeds. Not to mention himself, he had followed his father to fight in battles since he was a child.

Su Dingqin's heart was broken. Looking at his once heroic sister, who now looked like a fragile porcelain doll, his heart felt like it was on fire. He clenched his fists, and all the anger in his heart surged to his head, burning away his remaining sanity.
He stood up suddenly and slapped Yu Shengsheng in the face.
"It's all because of you!"
Yu Shengsheng was just holding on, and he hit her so hard that she almost fell down.
Grandma Wu just took out the medicine and was so shocked that she wanted to help her. The old lady said coldly, "Come and apply medicine to the princess."
Grandma Wu looked at Yu Shengsheng with concern, then hurried over and knelt down to apply medicine to Su Zhiyi.
The back of Su Zhiyi's hand is whiter than snow, with a hint of red, adding a sense of fragility.
After the ointment was applied, the old lady just waved her hand and everyone else lowered their heads and returned to their seats.
Yu Shengsheng stood where she was - the seat at the end had just been kicked over by Su Yanshu, so there was no place to sit.
Su Dingqin glanced at her and said, "If you don't want to eat, don't eat. If you want to eat, eat while standing. I'll teach you a lesson."
Madam Su glared at him and was about to wave to Yu Shengsheng when the old lady coughed lightly.
Mrs. Su dropped her hands again.
Every part of Yu Shengsheng's body was in pain, and her stomach was aching from hunger.
I have never had a full meal in more than a year. Now that I have returned home, if I want to take Grandma Wu away, she must be in good health.
Walk over slowly and eat while standing.

The old lady coaxed Su Zhiyi to eat, and occasionally glanced at Yu Shengsheng with gloomy eyes.
She didn't like this granddaughter from the very beginning.

"This is the maid Ruzhu, Mrs. Zhou."
As Ruzhu Fufu moved, a faint fragrance drifted into Yu Shengsheng's nostrils. It must be the best perfume powder, which is very expensive.
When Mrs. Zhou greeted her, Yu Shengsheng discovered that there was something wrong with her right leg. It wasn't noticeable when she was standing still, but when she moved, she was obviously limping.
Mrs. Su didn't say where the maids in her yard had gone, and Yu Shengsheng didn't ask.
The things in the room had not changed much. There were still shallow water marks on the surface of the table from wiping, and there was still fine dust behind the vase and in the corners of the eight-treasure grid.
Yu Shengsheng withdrew her gaze indifferently and took off her outer clothes.
There were two sounds of footsteps, one light and one heavy, outside the door of the inner room.
"Miss, the hot water is ready. I will help you change your clothes and take a bath?"
"No need, go and rest!"
There was silence outside for a moment, and the footsteps faded away.
Yu Shengsheng didn't want to show the ugly scars on her body to others.
After taking a bath, she was so tired and sleepy that she fell asleep immediately.
