Shen Bai didn't expect Shen Su to say such a thing. She was stunned, but she couldn't help feeling relieved.
This sister is even more like a member of the Shen family than their father.
Seeing Ning Xin didn't say anything, Shen Bai knew that the old lady couldn't turn this corner, so she stepped forward and pulled Shen Su up, saying softly: "Grandma, Asu is a sensible child. It's worth it that we love her on weekdays."
Ning Xin is such a smart person, she just didn't expect Chen Su to be so independent. She felt distressed and reluctant at the same time.
Shen Yi's eyes were about to pop out, but because of his mother's dignity, he didn't dare to speak or do anything. Yu Ling was also anxious and helpless.
Ning Xin sighed and nodded, "Great! You're more ambitious than your useless parents! Great! Grandma supports you! My granddaughter will be successful even without relying on her family's influence. She's definitely not a headless, empty-headed, vase-like lady! Grandma respects your choice! I'll help you decide on your marriage. We'll take care of everything, don't worry. Just live the way you want!"
Shen Su hugged Ning Xin and called out with sobs, "Grandma!"
Ning Xin hugged her granddaughter and stroked her back: "Grandma is so happy. My granddaughter is a smart child. Grandma will always have your back. The door of our house will always be open to you. Your brothers and sisters will always stand behind you. Good girl, don't be afraid of anything. Go! Find your own goals and direction!"
Zhou Shuo explained math problems to Mu Yao who was lying on the hospital bed, and Mu Yao listened very carefully.
Mu Ci pushed the door open and walked in a wheelchair.
"Brother? Why are you here?" Mu Yao asked in surprise.
Zhou Shuo jumped up: "Huh? How did you find this place?"
Mu Ci smiled and pulled her hand: "You are not in the office, I guess you are here, I found the right one."
Mu Yao pouted: "Don't show your affection in front of a single person like me."
Zhou Shuo patted her hand: "You little brat, you don't deserve to be called a single dog!"
Mu Yao made a face at her.
Mu Ci's wheelchair moved forward a little and asked Mu Yao, "How is it? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"
Mu Yao's expression darkened, then she smiled: "As long as my sister-in-law is with me, I won't feel bad."
Mu Ci smiled: "What a pain in the ass! She's not medicine."
Mu Yao curled her lips, "Brother just doesn't want to give my sister-in-law to me! If you had told me directly, I might have given her back to you."
"Okay, give your sister-in-law back to me. I'm going to take her out for dinner." Mu Ci smiled gently.
Mu Yao looked at the two of them, her eyes full of affection, and sighed: "Okay, I'll give it back to you! I have to accumulate some virtue for myself, otherwise I will suffer more retribution.
"Nonsense!" Mu Ci said in a deep voice.
Mu Yao was startled and forced a smile, saying, "I was just saying it casually. I heard that my illness is cursed."
Mu Ci said sternly, "An illness is an illness, no curse! If you're sick, treat it well. You're so young, don't let your imagination run wild."
Mu Yao said, "I heard that I saved my grandmother when I was born. She also had a blood disease. That's why I have the last name Mu. Otherwise, how could I have such good fortune?"
Mu Ci wanted to say something, but Zhou Shuo blocked her way. She reached back and pinched Mu Yao's face. "Oh, this is the first time I've heard that being sick can be considered a blessing! You little brat, you have so many ideas! Otherwise, I'll find some shamans tomorrow to perform a few dances for you in the ward to drive away the evil spirits? Just imagine that scene, it's so lively!"
Mu Yao was amused by her: "What kind of mess is in your head, little sister-in-law?"
Zhou Shuo pinched his waist: "Hey! You still say I'm a mess? It's obviously you who are a little brat, and you have wild imaginations, okay?"
Mu Yao reached out and took her hand with a soft smile on her face.
Zhou Shuo stretched out his hand and let her hold it, saying magnanimously, "Okay, since you're pretty, I won't bother with you!"
Mu Yao smiled, avoiding her and looking at Mu Ci behind her: "Brother, you are so lucky. With my sister-in-law here, your life will be so happy."
Mu Ci's face brightened slightly.
"Okay, I'll let you go. I'm a little tired too. You guys go and I'll take a nap. But, sister-in-law, you have to come tomorrow. My math class isn't over yet." Mu Yao shook Zhou Shuo's hand coquettishly.
Zhou Shuo raised his chin slightly, "I'll go to the nurses' station first to ask if you've been well behaved. If they give you a bad review, I'll turn around and leave!"
Mu Yao raised her hands in surrender: "I will be good!"
Zhou Shuo then turned around and pushed Mu Ci's wheelchair. When he turned around, he saw that Lin Jun and Mu Guo had been standing at the door without him noticing.
Lin Jun's face was in tears and her whole body was shaking with sobs.
Mu Guo looked at them with a slight flicker in his eyes and an unnatural expression.
Neither Mu Ci nor Zhou Shuo spoke, and Zhou Shuo didn't even know how to greet them.
"Thank you." Lin Jun cleared his throat and thanked them in a hoarse voice.
She pulled Mu Guo out of the way and said, "You stay with Mu Yao. I'll see them off."
Lin Jun is indeed an outstanding professional woman. She has excellent emotional control and smiled at the two of them.
Zhou Shuo pushed Mu Ci and passed by Mu Guo.
Lin Jun followed Mu Ci through the long corridor and pressed the elevator. While waiting for the elevator, Zhou Shuo couldn't help but say, "You should go back and accompany Mu Yao."
Lin Jun smiled and followed them into the elevator.
Walking along the winding path in the hospital garden, Lin Jun finally spoke slowly: "Mu Yao's illness can only be treated by waiting for a suitable bone marrow stem cell transplant. There is no other way."
Zhou Shuo was about to speak when Mu Ci asked, "Does she really have the same disease as grandma?"
Lin Jun nodded: "Yes, she was able to save grandma's life back then, but now, no one can save her."
