Chapter 109 The Crazy Man

On Monday, Zhou Shuo went to see the patient as usual after class, and Dr. Li looked very unhappy.

Zhou Shuo was confused until he felt the patient's pulse.

"Huh?" She stood up in surprise.

Doctor Li said coldly, "What's wrong?"

Zhou Shuo said calmly, "Why does her pulse feel much stronger? Teacher Li, did you give her any meridian-healing medicine on Saturday and Sunday?"

Doctor Li looked away. "No! She was not given any additional treatment."

Zhou Shuo pretended not to know. "That's really strange. How could there be such a big progress all of a sudden? If this continues, I think she might be able to stand up!"

Doctor Li's expression became even uglier.

The patient suddenly grabbed Zhou Shuo's hand and smiled at her, "It looks good."

Zhou Shuo was surprised.

Doctor Li rushed over, pushed Zhou Shuo away, stared at the patient and asked, "What did you say?"

The patient avoided him and continued to look at Zhou Shuo, "It looks good."

Perhaps because she hadn't spoken for years, her voice was very hoarse.

Doctor Li turned around and said coldly to Zhou Shuo, "Get out. You have nothing to do here."

His eyes were fierce, and Zhou Shuo couldn't help but tremble in her heart. She forced herself to meet Dr. Li's gaze and whispered, "Teacher, she's talking. Do you want to examine her?"

"Get out! I'll take care of things here!" Doctor Li said with a cold face, reaching out and pushing Zhou Shuo out.

Zhou Shuo saw unprecedented panic on Dr. Li's face.

The door was locked from the inside. Zhou Shuo looked around and saw that the nurse who usually took care of this ward had already looked over.

Zhou Shuo had no choice but to pretend nothing happened and left with his hands in his pockets.

It was not until they left the inpatient building that Zhou Shuo dared to take out his phone and call Mu Ci to tell him about the situation.

Mu Ci said calmly, "Okay, I understand. Don't worry, I'll make arrangements. Just do your work normally."

After hanging up the phone, Zhou Shuo let out a breath and looked up at the clear blue sky.

Are all the things in this world arranged by fate?

Under such a pure sky, dirty things are going on so openly and unscrupulously.

"Zhou Shuo!" Shen Su's voice came from behind.

Zhou Shuo was surprised, "Why are you here? What's wrong with you? Or is it Sister Shen Bai who's not feeling well?"

Zhou Shuo asked instinctively.

Chen Su patted her head and said, "Can't you think positively? No one is feeling uncomfortable. I was passing by and wanted to come see you. If you're done with get out of class, let's go eat together. Life is short. You should learn to enjoy it in time and stop focusing on that husband of yours!"

Zhou Shuo smiled, and the gloom in his heart just now dissipated because of Miss Shen's forced life insights.

"I still have some cases to sort out, but it will be quick. Would you like to wait for me?" Zhou Shuo looked at Chen Su with a smile.

Shen Su frowned, with a very tolerant look, and spread his hands, "Then wait, who made me love you?"

Zhou Shuo pulled her towards the office and said, "If anyone heard what you said, it would be terrible."

Chen Su smiled and said, "What's so great about it? You're just a little girl that everyone loves."

The two of them walked upstairs arm in arm. Zhou Shuo said, "They all said you were willful and capricious, with a bad temper. Why didn't I see that? Were you being framed?"

Chen Su shrugged and said indifferently: "They are right. I have a bad temper, so little Zhou Shuo, you have to know that I am only good to you!"

"Ah——" The two were talking and laughing when suddenly the crowd in front of them became agitated and scattered.

"What's going on?" Zhou Shuo pulled Chen Su over and dodged the person who bumped into him.

"Fire, fire! Someone is going to kill someone!" A young nurse shouted while running.

"on fire?"

"kill?"

How can these two things that have absolutely nothing to do with the hospital sound so unbelievable?

Zhou Shuo's mind moved, and he suddenly thought of the patient.

She pulled Shen Su over and said hurriedly, “Shen Su, go downstairs immediately and wait for me at the place where we just met!”

Shen Su failed to hold her back, and she jumped up and down anxiously, shouting, "Zhou Shuo, where are you going?"

Zhou Shuo turned around and shouted, "I'm going to find a patient, don't come over! Go!"

Zhou Shuo ran to the patient's ward anxiously, completely forgetting his own safety.

Zhou Shuo walked in against the crowd, stumbling and struggling. As he walked forward, a faint smoke began to drift over. Zhou Shuo said in his heart, "Oh no!" That was the direction he was heading towards, the ward.

She was almost certain that something had happened to the patient.

"Ah——" A young nurse rushed towards him, and Zhou Shuo instinctively reached out to support her. The place where he touched was sticky. Zhou Shuo looked down and saw that his hand was covered with blood!

"Are you hurt?" Zhou Shuo couldn't help but feel panicked.

The young nurse fell down with a look of pain on her face.

More screams were heard. When Zhou Shuo turned his head, he saw the young nurses running away with faces covered in blood, some in panic, not knowing what to do. Then he saw a tall man waving a sharp knife in his hand.

His hair was tangled like straw, and his facial features were so dirty that they were unrecognizable. The knife in his hand was dripping with blood from the tip. He was muttering, "Bad guys! Bad guys! Goblins! Goblins! They are all bad guys! They are all bad guys!"

When Zhou Shuo realized that he was a mentally ill person, the man had already come to her.

"You are all White Bone Demons! I will beat you to death!" the man said as he raised the knife towards Zhou Shuo.

"Wukong! Stop! I am the master!" Zhou Shuo thought quickly and shouted loudly.

The man's movements seemed to freeze. He slowly looked at Zhou Shuo, somewhat puzzled and timid: "Master?"

Zhou Shuo could tell that he had a mental problem, but he didn't expect this sentence to actually work. What else could he do? Just keep acting!

She signaled the young nurses and family members to leave immediately with her eyes, and said calmly, "Do you still recognize me as your master? Why are you killing innocent people again? Why don't you put down the knife?"

The man hesitated, looked at the knife in his hand, and muttered, "Where's my golden cudgel? Where's my golden cudgel?"

Zhou Shuo said in a deep voice: "The golden cudgel is here with me, Master. Put down the knife and come here to receive your golden cudgel!"

The man lowered his knife-wielding hand and looked at Zhou Shuo with a look of stupidity on his dirty face. "Why do you have my golden cudgel?"

Zhou Shuo resisted the urge to touch his forehead. This idiot's train of thought was truly convoluted.
