Chapter 48 The Puppy Slaps His Owner
There was one more thing he was absolutely certain of: something had changed in Class 14 during his absence.
Maybe it was because the college entrance exam was approaching, maybe their families finally started paying attention to them, or maybe... it was because of the new head teacher.
Class 14 was actually having morning reading, and there was a teacher during the morning reading. The history teacher with the most cowardly personality actually dared to sit on the podium and listen to the students below reciting the chronology before 7 o'clock.
What had Shen Qinian done? How had he done it? Why had everything changed in just a few days? Class 14 felt so unfamiliar, as if it wasn't his Class 14. It was as if he had traveled through time, or arrived in a parallel world, or was still in some dungeon. This was an illusion, a conspiracy by Song Shuyi.
Wang Le stood up in surprise and whispered, "Squad leader, you're back."
Squad leader. What a squad leader. They actually called him squad leader!
"Teacher Liu, the monitor just came back from a dungeon. He might be a little..." Wang Le explained as he lifted his desk and picked up the books and pens on the floor. "Go on, teacher. The monitor might need a nap."
Teacher Liu nodded very reasonably.
The paused sound of reading continued, and Fang Ke stood there in a daze.
He seemed to be out of his own world. Why? He felt so...out of place.
Everyone began to act like a normal person, even though this was Class 14, the most famous problem class in Tang County, and even though this was the class that had always produced thugs, gangsters and criminals.
It was originally a pool of muddy water, but now the water is clear.
The filth on his body was exposed.
Teacher Liu was an elderly man. He kindly asked Fang Ke to sit down.
"Students who come to recite can also go to the back and line up with Teacher Nian."
When Fang Ke heard this, he turned around suddenly and saw that there was an extra table in the last row, and Shen Qinian was sitting there.
When he sat there, the drawers of everyone in the front row were exposed.
He never disturbed the teacher in class, nor did he get up and walk around. He just sat there doing his own thing, which created an invisible deterrent.
With him sitting there, other teachers have no worries and can complete their classes.
He didn't know when Shen Qinian sat there. There were so many things he didn't know. Between him and Shen Qinian were more than a dozen rows of seats, thousands of mountains and rivers, and...
The gap between cognition and experience.
Shen Ci Nian is a calm, reliable and mature elder.
What about him? He always seemed to be making trouble for no reason. Everything he did seemed like a child's temper in front of Shen Cinian.
Of course Shen Cinian wouldn't be angry with him, and of course Shen Cinian wouldn't care what he was doing.
Fang Ke sat down at a loss, not knowing what to do or how to act. His heart felt empty and he was completely confused.
As if to hide his uneasiness, he bent his arms and lay on the table, his head resting on his arm, his other arm stretched out on the corridor, his hand unconsciously turning the pen.
It turned around for a long time until the pen fell to the ground.
Click—a soft sound.
It was as if something in his heart had fallen to the ground as well, and Fang Ke suddenly stopped moving. His fingers remained in the same position, and his face was buried in his arms, so no one could see his expression.
Shen Cinian was preparing for class, occasionally looking up at his classmates, and his eyes would pass over Fang Ke's position, but he would not stand up and knock on Fang Ke's desk.
Whether Fang Ke studies or not is none of his business. He doesn't mind Fang Ke playing badly as long as he doesn't disturb others.
After the morning reading, there was a twenty-minute breakfast time, and students actually gathered in groups of three or four to ask Shen Cinian some required test questions.
"Teacher, how do I solve this function?"
"Teacher, why is geography always so difficult..."
"Teacher, please teach us some English that we can use to show off~"
Shen Cinian is always gentle and never refuses students' questions. His answers are just right in humor. There are boys and girls surrounding him. The teenagers chatter like a flock of birds, blocking the tables around Shen Cinian.
"Get in line. Come on, give me the pen so I can help you draw an auxiliary line..."
"Wow, teacher, you really know everything." The little birds immediately moved their heads forward, almost touching Chen Cinian's hair.
Fang Ke buried his head in his arms more and more. He took out the earphones from his pocket and put them into his ears.
He opened his cell phone in the desk, played a random song, and turned it up to the maximum volume.
But it couldn't be covered up, nothing could cover it up. The sound was weakened, but it still reached his ears.
"The teacher was also a student before," Shen Cinian joked with them, "I am considered your senior. I am a little worse than your teacher, but it is not difficult for me to solve the homework."
"Wow, senior, can I pay you to do my homework for me?"
"I want one too!"
So...noisy...
So noisy...
It's not jealousy, it's not sourness, no, no, it's just, he is about to go to bed, he feels it's too noisy, he can't sleep, the noise makes him a little anxious, that's it.
Wang Le held the history book in his arms, looking timidly and expectantly in the direction of Shen Qinian. He seemed to want to go over and ask questions, but he didn't dare. He hesitated for a long time and finally decided to stand up, but just after he took two steps, the class bell rang, so he had to walk back and sit down again.
The first class was still history. Teacher Liu gave everyone 20 minutes to continue memorizing the chronology, while he wrote a mind map of the content to be taught in this class on the blackboard.
Wang Le had finished reciting the poem long ago. The classmate sitting behind him in the second row poked him on the back. He leaned back a little and whispered something to that classmate.
The sound was drowned out by the sound of reading and Teacher Liu writing on the blackboard.
"Hey, have you heard? There's a great writer who transferred to our school. I heard he wrote a bestseller when he was in junior high. His name is...what's his name...er...Song Shuyi. Anyway, the name is really weird."
"Really? Then he must have a lot of fans." Wang Le covered his face with a history book and lowered his voice. "Impossible? How could such a great writer come to our No. 3 Middle School... Is he from the top class..."
"What's impossible? The second-best student in the country is your deskmate." The person sitting behind him lowered his voice, fearing Fang Ke would hear. "Oh, is he from the elite class? We'll know after class when we go to Class 1. I've never seen anyone other than... ahem, a living celebrity in my life!"
"I won't watch the excitement anymore. I want to ask Teacher Nian a question later..."
"What questions can you have about a piece of history? You can't find the answer in the book. I think you are...just..."
"I don't!"
Teacher Liu looked back at him, and Wang Le realized that his voice was a bit loud, so he immediately pretended to read.
The person at the back table was still muttering, "Nothing? What did I say? I'm just too lazy to look for it, that's normal... but I'm so excited..."
Just fifteen minutes into the first class, there was a knock on the front door. Director Wang stood at the door and motioned for Teacher Liu to step aside.
"Let me introduce a new classmate to you, Song Shuyi. Song Shuyi is the one who paid for the floor heating installation for everyone. Welcome everyone!"
“Is writing a book so profitable…” People at the back table clapped and whispered to each other.
"Hi~" Song Shuyi didn't put on any idol airs at all, and greeted them openly, "My dears, hello, please take good care of me. I'll treat you to a big dinner tonight~"
After saying that, Song Shuyi glanced around and found that only Shen Qinian was sitting next to someone without anyone. The corners of his lips immediately rose, and he walked over and sat down without hesitation.
Shen Qinian frowned. This table was where he used to stack his homework books...
Where did Song Shuyi get the courage to openly disobey his orders? Not only did he dare to cross the line, but he also appeared in front of him twice.
"I'm a good student, I like to sit next to the teacher." Song Shuyi tidied up the desk, put the homework book on the ground, and moved a little closer to Shen Cinian. "Teacher~ My textbook hasn't arrived yet, I'll help you correct your homework this class~"
Shen Cinian stretched out his hand to push him away, his tone slightly heavy, "You, come out with me."
After saying that, he stood up first and left the classroom through the back door.
"Oh," Song Shuyi deliberately said behind him, her voice not too soft, "You don't have to take care of me like that, right? Even if we have a special relationship~"
After these words were spoken, even Teacher Liu cast a gossipy look at them.
Wang Le's eyes were filled with shock at first, then he lowered his head and gripped the pen with much greater strength than before.
He comforted himself in his heart: It's okay, maybe he is a relative...
They must be relatives, right? Definitely relatives, right?
But...but the new classmate is so outstanding...
Wang Le bit his lips so hard that they were almost torn apart.
Fang Ke remained silent, as if all this had nothing to do with him.
Ordinary male friends.
Ordinary friends will come here specifically from the abyss
There is a ban from the weird god on the weird side.
Even at the risk of blasphemy, I'd still come here to find someone. Even if we're not a couple, we'll be one soon.
Are you French kissing outside right now?
The more Fang Ke thought about it, the angrier he became.
But, but what is his position, what is his reason, and why should he make such a fuss?
Shen Cinian has nothing to do with him.
For a moment, he even thought that the cat in the villa was Song Shuyi in disguise.
"Damn... grass!"
He is unhappy, and he still cares about his stance. What’s the use of stance?
Fang Ke stood up and opened the door. He saw Song Shuyi pressing Shen Cinian against the wall in the corridor!
Suddenly his eyes began to spit fire. Without saying a word, he walked over, pulled Song Shuyi away, and punched Song Shuyi hard in the eye.
Immediately afterwards, before Shen Cinian could react, he raised his hand and slapped Shen Cinian in the face.
"Bah," he spat viciously, "Why don't you play something else but Liao Zhai! Talking about love with a fucking weirdo, you're fucking awesome! You fucking bastard! Do you have any shame?"
