Half an hour later, Nanqianyue put down her pen and said, "Alright, there are three prescriptions in total."
The military doctor and Bai Shu leaned closer for a closer look:
Disinfectant Pill – Talc, Artemisia capillaris, Scutellaria baicalensis, Acorus tatarinowii, Akebia quinata, Belamcanda chinensis, Forsythia suspensa, Pogostemon cablin…
Detoxifying Formula: Ephedra, stir-fried bitter almond, gypsum, coix seed, atractylodes, patchouli...
Warming the Channels and Activating Blood Circulation Decoction – Schisandra chinensis, Atractylodes macrocephala, Rehmannia glutinosa, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Atractylodes lancea…
"Wonderful!" Bai Shu praised, the messy and crooked handwriting did not detract from the brilliance of the prescription at all.
Nanqianyue stood up, handed the prescription to the military doctor, and instructed, "Take the disinfectant pill at 5:00 AM and 1:00 PM for the first three days, and the antidote prescription at the end of 5:00 PM. Reduce the dosage of the disinfectant pill according to the symptoms for the next three days. If the major symptoms disappear, you can take the warming and blood-activating decoction."
"I'll write a few more copies so you can give them to the emergency room doctors to make it easier to get the medicine."
The military doctor's hands were trembling with excitement. He took the prescription and hurriedly said, "I'll write it down. Doctor Nan, please take a short rest."
“Okay.” Nan Qianyue nodded indifferently, not doubting in the slightest that her handwriting was so bad that the doctors might misread it.
Bai Shu, of course, wasn't idle either, helping the military doctor with the writing.
Looking at their neat and beautiful handwriting, Nan Qianyue coughed lightly and naturally shifted her gaze elsewhere.
She would never admit that her handwriting is ugly. They say handwriting reflects the person, so her handwriting can't be called ugly; it's rather unique.
After more than a dozen prescriptions were written, the military doctor immediately distributed them to the emergency room doctor and his apprentices. Some were filling the prescriptions, while others were decocting them. The pharmacy was bustling with activity.
Nanqian Yue and Bai Shu helped monitor the patient's condition, and it seemed that not long afterward, the sky darkened.
Is Miss Nan here?
A young soldier carrying several bundles arrived outside the pharmacy, just as Nan Qianyue and Bai Shu returned from the treatment area.
"I'm here, what's wrong?"
The young general's eyes lit up when he saw Nan Qianyue. "Miss Nan, the Marshal has ordered me to bring you some clothes. New tents have been set up in the back area of the pharmacy. Let me take you there."
Nanqianyue touched her empty stomach. "Put the things down first. I'll take them over myself after I finish eating."
Alas, poor beggar chicken, after working so hard all day, he has nothing to eat but to share military rations with the emergency doctors.
The young general smiled and said, "The marshal knows that Miss Nan is hungry, and has already ordered food to be sent to her tent. Miss Nan can eat when she returns to her tent."
"Really!" Nan Qianyue swallowed hard. She was starving. She had only eaten a couple of bites in the morning and hadn't eaten anything since.
"Then..." Nan Qianyue looked at the military doctor somewhat embarrassedly. Would they have any objections to her being treated so well?
The military doctor, with his sharp eyes and keen understanding, knew what Dr. Nan was thinking. He waved and smiled, "Dr. Nan, go ahead. You've worked so hard for so long, you should rest."
The doctor had already done them the greatest favor by providing them with a prescription to treat the plague; how could they possibly ask for anything in return?
"Then we'll be going now." Nan Qianyue smiled, then looked at Bai Shu, "Brother Bai, let's go."
"Okay." Bai Shu smiled gently.
"Wait a minute." The junior officer reached out to stop Bai Shu, his smile awkward. "Doctor Bai's tent is over there. Your things have already been put inside. Would you like me to lead the way, Doctor Bai?"
Bai Shu paused for a moment, then shook his head and chuckled, "No need, you can take A-Yue."
"Alright, alright, then this subordinate will take Miss Nan away first." The young general's mouth almost stretched to his ears with a grin, revealing a row of neat teeth that contrasted sharply with his dark skin.
He then gestured to Nan Qianyue, "Miss Nan, this way please."
Nanqianyue raised her eyebrows. She thought that Brother Bai's tent was next to hers. It seemed that Qin Yi had deliberately arranged for Brother Bai to be so far away from her.
"Okay." She didn't seem to care much.
Upon reaching the newly erected tent, the young general tactfully stopped and handed the bundle to Nan Qianyue, saying, "Miss Nan, I'll leave you here. Please go in by yourself."
Nanqianyue took the bundle, smiled, and said, "Okay, thank you."
"Hehe, it's nothing." The young man laughed foolishly.
Nanqianyue was amused by his appearance and couldn't help but ask him, "What's your name?"
The young man scratched the back of his head. "My name is Wang Agou."
"Pfft..." Nan Qianyue couldn't help but laugh. She had no intention of mocking him; she just thought he was too cute.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't mocking you, I just found it funny," Nan Qianyue quickly explained.
Wang Agou scratched the back of his head even harder, his laughter growing sillier and sillier. "Hehehe, it's alright. My mother said that an ugly name is better for raising a child. I hope Miss Nan will forgive me, hehehe."
Nanqianyue was trying hard to suppress her laughter, and you could tell from the shaking of her shoulders that she was struggling to hold it in. It was just that Wang Agou's laughter was too silly and cute.
"No, no, your name is as lovely as you are."
"Hehehe..." came another silly laugh in response, tinged with a hint of shyness.
Suddenly, the surrounding air inexplicably turned cold, and Wang Agou shivered. Then, his expression panicked as he finally remembered something. He clasped his hands towards Nan Qianyue and said, "Miss Nan, please excuse me, this humble servant will take his leave now."
He spoke very quickly and ran very fast, as if he were fleeing something.
Nanqianyue raised an eyebrow and turned to lift the curtain with a hint of doubt.
"Ah!" she screamed.
There sat a tall man in a black robe at the table, his dark eyes fixed on the doorway.
That scared me to death.
"You, you, you..." Nan Qianyue put down her bundle, walked to the table, pointed at him, and questioned, "What are you doing here? You, a marshal, are so irresponsible!"
Qin Yi's expression was frosty, and his voice was chilling, "You think he's cute?"
