Xie Yanzhou clenched his fingers again, feeling a tightness and pain in his chest, and struggling to breathe.
It turns out that Qianqian really... likes Qin Yi.
Bai Shu sighed softly, but he was also relieved for the prince. He looked at Wei Da, who was standing outside the pavilion with a medicine box, and asked, "Have you informed the prince?"
Wei Da nodded. "The prince should be arriving soon."
Bai Shu looked at Xie Yanzhou again, wanting to persuade him to leave first, but then thought better of it.
I doubt they'll leave.
"Hand me the silver needles." Bai Shu reached out to Wei Da.
Veda skillfully opened the medicine box, accurately located the deerskin wrapping the silver needles, and handed it to Bai Shu.
Bai Shu took out a silver needle and approached Nan Qianyue, but before he could say anything, she shrank back.
"Who...get away!" Her nose was very sensitive at that moment, and the unfamiliar scent made her feel uneasy.
Seeing her like this, Bai Shu couldn't bear it and could only coax her gently, "A-Yue, let me help you seal a few acupoints, otherwise your eyesight will be damaged."
The moon, which had been migrating south, kept shrinking back, its red, misty eyes filled with fear. "Go away... don't come near me..."
Bai Shu's words pulled Xie Yanzhou back from his grief. He raised his fingertips to wipe away the tears from the corners of his eyes and rallied himself. "I'll hold her down, and you administer the acupuncture."
Bai Shu looked at the night sky with a solemn expression. Why hasn't the prince arrived yet?
"That's the only way. Don't use too much force, or you'll scare her," Bai Shu reminded her.
Xie Yanzhou pursed his lips tightly, his eyes filled with a multitude of emotions. "Mm."
He moved closer to Nanqianyue and quickly reached out to press his hand on her shoulder.
Nanqianyue seemed to have been greatly frightened, and she struggled with all her might, "Let me go... let me go!"
Despite feeling utterly weak, she refused to be taken advantage of and would not yield, even if it cost her her last ounce of strength.
Bai Shu quickly grabbed her wrist, and with his other hand, he held the silver needles, ready to administer acupuncture.
But Nanqianyue's will to survive was too strong. She struggled incessantly, pleading, "Please... let me go... Ah! Let me go!"
"Qianqian, it's me—"
"What are you doing? Let her go!"
A sharp sound pierced the air, and a dagger, accompanied by a gust of wind, flew towards Xie Yanzhou's neck.
Xie Yanzhou instinctively dodged and released Nanqian Yue.
"Your Highness! You've finally arrived!" Wei Da exclaimed excitedly.
Qin Yifei climbed down the courtyard wall and strode toward the pavilion. He grabbed Bai Shu by the back of his collar and pulled him away.
When my gaze fell upon the woman huddled up in a ball, crying helplessly, my heart clenched with pain.
“Southward migration month.” He squatted down, not daring to touch her.
Bai Shu straightened his collar. "Just like two years ago, Your Highness, please comfort her and let me administer some acupuncture to protect her eyes."
“Go away…” Nan Qianyue clutched her ears, teetering on the brink of despair.
Qin Yi slowly raised his hand, but froze in mid-air.
Bai Shu said urgently, "What are you standing there for, Your Highness? Unlike you, she doesn't have internal energy to support her. Don't worry, she was just calling your name!"
Qin Yi was startled and quickly glared at Bai Shu, "Why didn't you say so earlier?"
He was still worried about scaring her; given her personality, she shouldn't be forced, especially at times like this.
"Moon, it's me, Qin Yi." He immediately changed his address and slowly approached her.
Qin Yi...
Nan Qianyue felt a wave of dizziness. She loosened her hand slightly from her ears, her eyes, red from crying, were unfocused. Her lips trembled as she called out, "Qin Yi... are you Qin Yi?"
Qin Yi couldn't describe his feelings; a mix of intense heartache and joy mingled within him. He gently took Nan Qianyue's hand in his, saying, "It's me, Qin Yi."
Nanqianyue immediately burst into tears, "Qin Yi...you...why did you take so long to come..."
Qin Yi quickly pulled her into his arms, gently rubbing the back of her head with his large hand. "It's my fault, I didn't protect you well."
Bai Shu pressed his forehead, nearly shoving the silver needle into his skull. "Your Highness, once you've calmed me down, I'm about to administer the acupuncture."
Qin Yi patted the back of the head of the person in his arms, trying to calm her down as soon as possible, "Don't be afraid, with me here, no one can bully you."
He coaxed her while holding her wrist and handing it to Bai Shu.
Bai Shu raced against time, quickly administering acupuncture while in a horse stance.
The stinging pain in her wrist awakened Nan Qianyue's suppressed desire. She couldn't help but breathe more heavily, her head buried in Qin Yi's chest rubbing against him restlessly, and even her other free hand became unruly.
Qin Yi quickly held her down, coaxing her in a hoarse voice, "Be good, wait a little longer."
Bai Shu, who was administering acupuncture, blushed. Wei Da, who was standing outside the pavilion, looked up at the sky and silently moved towards the darkness.
Xie Yanzhou stood straight beside the pillar, his hands hanging stiffly at his sides, his handsome face filled with pain.
There was also a slight sense of relief, a feeling of happiness for her that she had found someone she liked... That's good.
"alright."
Bai Shu wiped the sweat from his forehead, then pointed quickly and said, "The second room on the left, no one has stayed there, the blankets were just changed, the bed is big, go ahead!"
Qin Yi glanced at him dismissively, then carried Nan Qianyue and strode towards the room.
He kicked the door open and then slammed it shut behind him.
The person in his arms seemed to realize that he could be unrestrained, and began to bite and nibble at his neck without restraint.
Qin Yi tensed up, silently reminding himself, "Don't be impulsive, don't be impulsive. I must let her release enough, otherwise the poison won't be expelled."
On the spacious bed, Qin Yi lay down and let Nan Qianyue "bully" him.
She helped her take off what she couldn't, lent her strength when she couldn't climb up, and even thoughtfully supported her neck and waist—in short, did everything she could to assist her.

At the Prime Minister's residence, the Nan family was pacing anxiously in Qianxiang Hall.
The person sent out has yet to reply.
