Chapter 185 Stop being unreasonable, okay?

Southward Migration Month: "..."

"It's a person."

Aunt Liu asked suspiciously, "Then where have you been for the past twenty years?"

Nan Qianyue looked at Aunt Liu as if she were an idiot, "If I remembered, I would have told Father and Mother long ago."

Aunt Liu suddenly realized, "Yes, yes, the eldest young lady has lost her memory."

Looking at the rapeseed field with a sigh, Nanqianyue murmured, "I don't think I'll have to stay here forever."

Aunt Liu didn't hear clearly, "What did you say, young lady?"

"It's nothing." Nan Qianyue waved her hand casually. "Let's go back and eat. We're all starving."

"Alright." Aunt Liu didn't ask any more questions and silently followed Nan Qianyue away.

After they completely disappeared, a few people emerged from the rapeseed field.

Seeing Qin Yi's unpleasant expression, Wei Da asked, "Your Highness, shall I follow first?"

Qin Yi stared in the direction Nan Qianyue had left, her murmured words still echoing in her mind: "I'm not going to have to stay here forever, am I?"

Doesn't she want to stay here forever? Is this place not worth staying for her?

Was her agreeing to marry him merely a matter of whim?

She actually...didn't like him that much.

...

As night fell, after taking a bath, Nanqianyue lay on the soft couch by the window, passing the time with her sketchbook.

Qin Yi said he would pick her up tonight to go to the Prince's Mansion to try out the Dream Pillow and regain her memories.

Because they were afraid of something going wrong along the way, Bai Shu and he would stay by his side the whole time.

For the sake of convenience, we had no choice but to take her to the Prince's mansion.

"What time is it?" Nan Qianyue asked, staring at the sketchbook.

The woman in green straightened the tilted lamp wick. "Miss, it's almost the end of the Xu hour."

Nanqianyue put down her sketchbook, a slight curve appearing between her brows. She looked out the window and whispered, "Weida, why hasn't he arrived yet?"

Vida, who was taking a nap with her eyes closed in the shadows, immediately woke up. "Reporting to you, young lady, it will be soon."

Nanqianyue pulled her collar tighter. A night breeze was blowing through the window, so she decided to stay in bed and wait.

"Green Robe, you can go to sleep too. You don't need to stay here."

"yes."

After getting into bed, Nanqianyue fell asleep in less than a quarter of an hour.

In a daze, I felt my body suspended in mid-air for a moment.

Perhaps the night breeze was too cool, which dispelled the drowsiness of the southward-migrating moon.

She slowly opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was Qin Yi's cold, sharp jawline.

She didn't say anything, snuggled into his arms, closed her eyes, and continued to sleep.

The carriage traveled smoothly, and during the southward migration, Yue felt no bumps at all, so much so that she slept even more soundly.

Qin Yi looked down at the person in his arms, his expression complicated, with a hint of resentment deep in his eyes.

But the Southern Migration Month knew nothing of this.

.

"Your Highness, please wake A-Yue." Bai Shu quietly entered, carrying medicine and Jie Si Dan.

Qin Yi stared quietly at the sleeping person on the bed, his mouth as if sealed with glue, not uttering a sound for a long time.

Bai Shu placed the tray on the small table at the foot of the bed, looking at Qin Yi with a puzzled expression, "Your Highness?"

Qin Yi lowered his eyes. "You may leave. I will summon you if needed."

Bai Shu nodded without asking further questions. "Yes."

As the door slammed shut, Qin Yi's burning gaze settled on her two rosy lips. He slowly leaned down and roused her with a lingering kiss.

"Um……"

Nanqianyue's eyelashes trembled, and her eyelids slowly opened, "Qin..."

It would have been better if she hadn't woken up; once she did, someone's behavior became even more unrestrained, even carrying a sense of resentment and punishment.

Nanqianyue didn't push him away; instead, she reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck, trying to respond.

Her response ignited a fire in Qin Yi's belly, causing his body temperature to soar.

He couldn't resist climbing onto the bed, pressing himself against her, and his burning hands reached under the covers to grip her slender waist.

Nan Qianyue panicked, pushed his head away with both hands, and said urgently, "You said you wouldn't touch me before marriage."

Qin Yi's breathing was heavy, and the desire in his eyes was undisguised.

He stared at Nan Qianyue for a while before getting up. Without saying a word, he silently brought over a tray and handed it to Nan Qianyue.

Nanqianyue, still dazed, swallowed the Jiesi Pill and the herbal medicine. "Isn't there any tea? I want to rinse my mouth."

Qin Yi silently brought over some hot tea.

"Why aren't you saying anything?" Nan Qianyue took the tea and rinsed her mouth.

As soon as he spat it back out, Qin Yi "snatched" the teacup.

Watching his fleeting shadow as he walked by, Nan Qianyue was even more puzzled. "What's wrong with you?"

Qin Yi quickly returned to the bedside, pressed her down to lie down, and pulled the blanket up, all in one smooth motion.

He sat on the edge of the bed with his back to the southward-moving moon, and didn't say a word.

Nan Qianyue reached out and grabbed his sleeve, shaking it. "I didn't want Mother to worry, that's why I didn't let you touch me. You're not angry, are you?"

That's so stingy! I'm starting to regret getting married.

Qin Yi closed his eyes and pretended to be dead.

Nan Qianyue frowned slightly, sat up, and leaned on his arm to look at his profile. "Say something, are you mute?"

Qin Yi: "..."

Nanqianyue said helplessly, "How am I supposed to know what you're angry about if you don't tell me?"

"I'm not angry," Qin Yi quickly uttered three words.

Nanqianyue pouted, "You call this not being angry? If you don't tell me, I'm leaving!"

She made a move to get out of bed.

Qin Yi pressed down on her thigh, annoyed. "Do you want to go back?"

"Huh?" Nan Qianyue couldn't keep up with his pace.

Qin Yi's eyes were filled with resentment. "You belong here, so why do you still want to go back? Is that world really so appealing to you? Or is there no one here worth staying for?"

"You're still going to abandon me, aren't you?" His voice was filled with pain, and his eyes gradually became bloodshot.

Nanqianyue finally understood, "You knew everything Aunt Liu was talking about?"
