As they chatted, they arrived at the Prince's Mansion.
The secret guards informed Qin Yi in advance that the Southern Migration Month would be coming.
So, as soon as Yue stepped out of the carriage during her southward migration, she was carried off.
Her eyes were filled with a smile. "Judging from your expression, you don't seem to be in a good mood."
Qin Yi glanced down at her, then carried her into the mansion, saying, "Didn't you already know?"
Nan Qianyue wrapped her arm around his shoulder and cupped his face. "Do you know that the Empress Dowager might have treated you so cruelly to protect your life?"
Qin Yi kept walking, his eyes fixed straight ahead, "I don't want to know."
The moon shines bright as they migrate south; that means they know.
"You're not allowed to be with her." Qin Yi frowned slightly, staring intently into her eyes as he spoke seriously.
Nanqianyue's smile faded, replaced by a serious and distressed expression. "I'll listen to you. Wherever you stand, I'll stand."
Qin Yi finally smiled. "It's almost lunchtime. Why don't you have lunch with me before you go back?"
Nanqian Yue smiled and said, "Okay."
"They're not even married yet, how can they be hugging like this!" Consort You suddenly appeared from some corner.
Nanqianyue struggled to get down, but Qin Yi held her even tighter, giving Consort You a look that was three parts provocative and five parts indifferent.
Consort You was so angry she was about to explode, but she couldn't utter a single word for a long time.
After thinking for a moment, Nan Qianyue tentatively asked Qin Yi in a low voice, "How about having lunch with Her Majesty?"
Qin Yi frowned deeply, "I just told you not to be with her."
He didn't lower his voice at all, and Consort You heard him clearly.
"Who are you threatening? Don't think you can act tough just because you have a few soldiers. You forbid her from being with me, but I'll be with her anyway!"
Consort You rushed over with an almost ferocious expression, reaching out to snatch Nanqianyue.
Qin Yi took a few steps back to avoid it, then turned and quickly left.
Consort You was determined not to give up, and chased after him, lifting her gorgeous skirt, shouting, "You stop right there!"
As Butler Lu watched this scene, his eyes gradually welled up with tears.
This enormous palace finally has some life in it.
