Nanqianyue raised the corner of her eye and paused for two seconds.
"good."
Unable to bear Yan Bo's anxious gaze, Nan Qianyue quickly climbed the stairs, holding onto the railing. But when she stood at the door, she suddenly stopped.
A familiar, suffocating atmosphere rushed towards her, making her too afraid to go in.

Nanqianyue stepped through the curtain, first raising her hand to wave twice at the dignified man, "Hello."
The man frowned almost imperceptibly. He didn't respond but slowly stood up and walked around the table step by step toward Nan Qianyue.
He stopped when he was just one step away.
He looked down at her eyes and brows without saying a word, but his eyes grew increasingly red.
Nanqianyue had a bad feeling. She forced a smile and asked, "Did you write the contents of that note?"
Upon hearing this, the man frowned even more deeply. He still didn't speak, but slowly raised his hand and reached towards Nan Qianyue's cheek.
"What are you doing?" Nanqianyue instinctively stepped back.
The man was instantly devastated. With bloodshot eyes, he said in a low voice, "Nan Nan, didn't you choose me? Why did you lie to me?"
He finally voiced his pent-up resentment.
