Five miles east of Huaxian County, there is a small hill covered with azaleas.
The pink ones are delicate and charming, the red ones are bright and vibrant. They sway gracefully in the wind, filling the mountains with fragrance, as if draping the green hills in a beautiful rosy robe.
Standing at the foot of the mountain, the moon looked up, its bright eyes reflecting a profusion of colors.
"So beautiful."
Qin Yi gazed at her beautiful profile and softly replied, "Yes, very beautiful."
"Shall we go up?" Nan Qianyue asked expectantly.
Qin Yi nodded, reached out to hug her waist, and tried to lift her up.
But the moon, already eager to migrate south, was already climbing up the mountain.
Qin Yi chuckled, his eyes filled with tenderness. He silently followed her, pointing out any azalea trees with unusual shapes to her.
The southward migration month is very good at providing emotional value, and it always elicits a series of exclamations.
Half an hour later, the two arrived at the mountaintop.
The rhododendron trees on the mountaintop are relatively sparse, and the ground is covered with light green grass.
Nanqianyue found a good spot to sit down. Right now, the mountains are covered with azaleas, and on the distant mountains, the setting sun is slowly hiding behind them.
The dim glow of the sunset illuminated the backs of Nanqianyue and Qin Yi as they sat hand in hand, and everything looked so peaceful and beautiful.
"So there's a sunset to watch!" Nanqianyue exclaimed, her eyes filled with admiration.
Qin Yi shifted his gaze to her face. "Do you like it?"
Nanqianyue paused slightly, then silently replied cryptically, "Very beautiful."
She slowly turned her head and unintentionally met those soft, shimmering black eyes. For a moment, her heart skipped a beat.
She sensed that Qin Yi was acting differently today.
It looks even better now.
Could it be because he shaved his beard? Or because his hair ornament changed? Or because his clothes changed?
Perhaps it was the first time she had looked at him so closely.
Qin Yi was captivated by her gaze and couldn't help but move closer to her little by little.
When their lips were half an inch apart, Nan Qianyue suddenly woke up, "You..."
"Is it okay?" Qin Yi asked very quickly, his burning gaze sweeping over her lips.
The words of refusal stuck in her throat as she tried to refuse the move south.
She suddenly remembered that last night, the man in blue had said that the guards around the Marshal's Mansion had been much more relaxed.
She guessed that it was because she had been very friendly to Qin Yi recently that he had let his guard down.
With this deduction in mind, Nanqianyue no longer intended to refuse him.
Since we've already slept together, a couple of kisses won't hurt.
She gripped the hem of her dress with her fingertips and nervously closed her eyes.
Qin Yi's extinguished hope was rekindled. He gently embraced her waist, carefully cradled the back of her head, and lowered his head to kiss her.
The kiss lingered, from the initial light touch to a deeper exploration.
Nanqianyue panicked and tried to push him away, but her body gradually became weak and limp, with only her heart beating unusually fast.
Once the flames pulsating in the abdomen are fully ignited, they are very difficult to extinguish.
As Qin Yi continued kissing her, he pinned her down, his large hands roaming freely over her body.
With her sensitive areas pressed down, Nan Qianyue suddenly opened her eyes and forcefully pushed Qin Yi's face away, shouting, "Stop it..."
Qin Yi's eyes were cloudy, and he was breathing heavily. "Did I scare you?"
Taking the opportunity, Nanqianyue nodded and said, "Yeah, you were really scary just now."
Qin Yi said gently, her voice hoarse, "Then I'll be gentler."
Nanqianyue opened her eyes wide, "Still a relative?"
Qin Yi's eyes were intense. "Can we not kiss after the sun sets?"
Nanqianyue tilted her head slightly to look at the distant mountains, and hesitated, "But there's still half left."
Qin Yi said softly, "The remaining half will fall even faster."
"real?"
"real."
Nanqianyue was very skeptical, "But um..."
Qin Yi did not give her a chance to refuse.
Breathing became tangled again, and Nanqianyue simply abandoned reason, believing that accepting the present moment would bring her freedom...
"Your Highness! Your Highness!"
An untimely and extremely anxious voice rang out from the foot of the mountain.
The two people who were kissing opened their eyes at the same time, one with annoyance and anger, the other with embarrassment and humiliation.
Nan Qianyue was picked up by Qin Yi, and only then did she realize that her clothes had been half taken off, without her noticing.
Were we getting a little too carried away with the kiss? We absolutely mustn't do that again; it's too dangerous.
Qin Yi quickly dressed her, then with a stern face, picked her up and leaped down the mountain.
Upon reaching the foot of the mountain, the woman in green rushed over:
"Your Highness! General Du's old illness has relapsed, and his condition is critical!"
The anger between Qin Yi's brows was instantly replaced by panic. He picked up Nan Qianyue with one arm and scrambled onto the horse's back. "Did Bai Shu go to the military camp?"
The woman in green said, "She's already gone."
The horse's hooves flew, and Qin Yi's face showed an unprecedented panic.
Nan Qianyue would occasionally look up at him, not daring to speak, and not knowing what to say. She could sense his turbulent emotions.
...military camp.
Qin Yi pulled Nan Qianyue along and quickly arrived outside General Du's tent.
He stopped in his tracks, quickly composed himself, and made sure the teacher didn't see his panicked and uneasy state.
Nanqianyue saw his reaction and felt a mix of emotions.
It turns out that Qin Yi also has moments of fear; he is not as cold-hearted and indifferent as she imagined.
His blood and bones...are extremely hot.
Qin Yi quickly recovered and pulled Nan Qianyue inside.
On the simple wooden bed, General Du lay with his eyes closed, while Old Man Sang's face had lost its former radiance.
Bai Shu solemnly performed the acupuncture and bloodletting, his forehead covered in fine sweat.
Several generals, all of whom were quite old, were also standing inside the tent.
When they saw Qin Yi bring Nan Qianyue in, their expressions were all strange.
One bold general remarked, "General Du is on the verge of death, yet the Marshal is coaxing his daughter. Is this the way a Marshal commands his troops?"
The general, speaking in a more "tactful" tone, said, "Yes, Marshal, General Du is your mentor who gave you a second life. He was feeling unwell yesterday. Why didn't you send Lord Bai over sooner?"
