Nanqianyue used serving chopsticks to pick up a little bit of mutton from Qianli and put it in her bowl. She first smelled it, and only after confirming that there was no gamey smell did she try to eat a small bite.
"How was it?" Xie Yanzhou awaited her evaluation.
Lanyuelou was his mother's family business, and many of the dishes on this table were dishes he had recorded during his early travels.
"Hmm, not bad." Nan Qianyue finished eating the mutton in her bowl.
Xie Yanzhou shook his head, "Tsk tsk tsk, to gain Heroine He's approval, this dish must be at the top of the list."
Nan Qianyue put down her chopsticks, picked up her wine glass, and looked at Xie Yanzhou. "Don't you have anything you want to ask me?"
Xie Yanzhou also raised his wine glass and clinked it with hers. After drinking it all in one gulp, the smile on his face slowly faded. He asked, "Was it Prince Anzheng who helped you regain your memory?"
Nanqianyue nodded, took a sip of wine, and said, "Yes."
"He gave you the Immortal Pillow?"
"No, he kidnapped me and took me to his place to sleep for one night."
Bang! Crack!
The wine glass in Xie Yanzhou's hand shattered.

Nan Qianyue looked completely innocent. She took out a soft handkerchief and placed it on Xie Yanzhou's hand, saying, "Wipe it off, you're bleeding."
Xie Yanzhou remained motionless. He looked up at Nan Qianyue, his voice tinged with fear, "Can you tell me what happened between you two?"
Nanqianyue rested her chin on her hand and spread her other hand out. "I don't know either. I only remember the two months we spent traveling the world together. I've forgotten everything else."
"You should have already inquired about it, right? Two years ago, Qin Yi brought me back to the capital, and two years later, he rescued me in Fengdu City. This is no secret in the capital."
Xie Yanzhou forced an unnatural smile. "I did inquire, but what's said in the capital isn't necessarily true. I don't believe you were the one chasing after Prince Anzheng two years ago."
"I don't believe it either." Nan Qianyue pouted and drank the wine.
Xie Yanzhou held the soft handkerchief between his fingertips, paused for a moment, and then asked, "Then... what about the Crown Prince of Nan Jing?"
