Chapter 64 This King Needs an Explanation

"If you don't want to be beaten, then you don't have to be beaten," Nan Qianyue turned her head and prepared to return to the villa.

“Southward migration month!” A warm, angry voice came from inside the carriage.

Then the curtains were lifted by a pair of large, slender hands, revealing a cold, handsome profile.

"Get in the car." He said softly.

Nan Qianyue crossed her arms, not at all surprised that he was in the carriage. "I dare not trouble Your Highness. The Prime Minister's residence will send a carriage to pick you up."

Qin Yi turned his head slightly, and his deep black eyes made Nan Qianyue's heart skip a beat. He said in a deep voice, "It seems that you didn't take what the Japanese king said to heart."

Nanqianyue sensed something was wrong and cursed Qin Yi in her heart while walking towards the carriage.

The atmosphere inside the carriage was tense.

"I need an explanation." Qin Yi's seemingly calm expression masked a complex mix of emotions.

Nan Qianyue glanced at him. "Are you alright? Why should I explain to you? What's there to explain?"

Qin Yi felt a tightness in his chest. "How can you, a young lady, hug and kiss a man and even undress him? What kind of behavior is this?"

Nan Qianyue was amused by his words, "How can Your Highness say such a thing without blushing or skipping a beat? If it is improper for me to save someone's life, then what about Your Highness touching me inappropriately?"

"I didn't touch you," Qin Yi said matter-of-factly.

Nan Qianyue almost choked on her breath, the words stuck in her chest. "You didn't touch me now, I'm talking about before!"

"Before?" Qin Yi frowned slightly, his expression serious and not at all like he was being unreasonable. "When was that? I don't remember."

"you!"

What a convenient excuse for not remembering!

The moonlit night, as it was moving south, turned its head away, thinking, "Out of sight, out of mind!"

"This time, I will reluctantly forgive you. But if there is a next time, I won't be so lenient."

Nan Qianyue couldn't help but glance at Qin Yi, tilting her head to examine him closely. "Your Highness has quite the nerve."

Qin Yi said, "Compared to you, it is indeed big."

Southward Migration Month: "..."

"Are you free tomorrow? I'd like to invite you to go boating on the lake." Qin Yi extended the invitation in a nonchalant tone.

Nan Qianyue chuckled, "I'm sorry, I have to accompany my mother to offer incense tomorrow, so I don't have time to deal with Your Highness."

She's going to run away! Run away! Run away—!
