That day, Lin Zhouze went into the president's office and asked Ying Yungui for a long vacation. He didn't give a specific reason, just said that he wanted to take care of his own business. Ying Yungui agreed.

Not long after he left, the office welcomed several distinguished guests. Elders from several major families came to pay a visit to the young president, bringing with them some "gifts" that should not be seen in public.

No one knew what these highly respected elders talked about with President Ying. All they knew was that the door of the president's office was closed for a day and a night, and they did not come out until dawn the next day.

Ying Yungui politely sent the old men away, closed the door, and turned to smile at the one who stayed behind: "Mr. Belmond, do you have something to tell me? The others have seen you staying here, I'm afraid you can't hide it."

Floyd's eyes were dark and his gaze was a little cloudy: "President, just call me by my name, no need to be so polite." Ying Yungui nodded and walked back to sit opposite him: "Okay, Mr. Floyd, is there anything you want to tell me?"

Floy scratched his messy and tangled hair and said in a hoarse voice: "My son, Fren, has been missing for several days. I have tried many ways to find his whereabouts but failed."

"Fren?" Ying Yungui raised an eyebrow. He seemed to have heard this name somewhere before. "Then you should ask the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Supervision. Tell me why?"

Floy shook his head slowly. "I know where he might be, but they can't know about this." They? Ying Yungui's thoughts turned and he began to understand what he meant.

"Since you've agreed to join our group, I'm not afraid to reveal some things first. You'll know sooner or later anyway," Floyd said. "They, including our former family, have always had a complete production and processing chain. You should be able to imagine how they produce and process it, just like the previous president proposed."

Ying Yungui raised his eyebrows and looked at him, signaling him to continue with his eyes.

"The most common processing points are all over the world, and most of them are auctioned off to the next level." Floy didn't speak directly, as if trying to save face. "I asked someone to send Fren to work there. He once told me something... that might be related to you. I reprimanded him and locked him up at home."

Hatred flashed in Floy's eyes. "But he didn't listen to me and ran away from home. Then he completely disappeared. Now I'm afraid only the people in District 13 know where he might be."

Ying Yungui leaned back and guessed his next words: "Our Belmond clan has declined. I no longer have the qualifications nor the courage to confront them head-on. I can only swallow the matter of Furen. But President, you have to be careful."

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Ying Yungui asked symbolically, not seriously. As expected, Floy refused. "It's a done deal. There's nothing I can do. I have to consider the rest of my clan. Fren... will be sad for him. I'm probably the only one left as his father."

"Are you willing?" Ying Yungui asked.

"How is that possible?" Floy sighed. "If Brother Flovitch were still alive, he would probably scold me harshly, saying that I didn't teach the next generation well."

Ying Yungui quietly removed the spatial barrier in the office and said, "Mr. Floy, take care of yourself. Don't let anyone else know about these things."

...

Two days later, Ying Yungui arrived at the Antarctic Experimental Base. This was his first time here in this world line.

He met Kulin in an endless glacier simulation field.

Kulin was brought here by the eldest elder of the Visa family. When Ying Yungui saw him, he was squatting in an empty corner. If you look closely, you can see that he is shivering slightly.

"It's cold, isn't it?" Ying Yungui greeted him and sat down next to him. "It's freezing here."

"Ying." Kulin didn't turn around to look at him, just called out, and then buried his face between his knees again.

"You've never been here before, have you?" Ying Yungui remembered his past self when he saw his appearance. "That's great, then just think of it as me bringing you here. Don't blame the elders of your tribe."

Kulin then looked up at Ying Yungui, his eyes red as if he had been frozen. "I saw it. A younger brother I grew up with is in there." His eyes moved and looked in a certain direction.

Ying Yungui knew what it meant without even looking. It was a place he was once very familiar with. "Did he volunteer?" he asked.

Kulin shook his head and said he didn't know: "The Great Elder said he volunteered. No wonder, I haven't seen him since a few years ago." "I didn't expect that when we met again, he had become like that."

That... Ying Yungui clenched his teeth and patted Kulin's shoulder. He understood the pain of being like that, and he also understood Kulin's inner struggle and pain. It was just like he had experienced it himself.

"Ying, go ahead." Kulin relaxed his strength, lowering his arms. He was no longer on guard. "Could it be that what we've always believed in is wrong?"

Superpowers benefit mankind, people with superpowers protect mankind, and people with superpowers use their abilities to fight against all those who disrupt social order.

These may not be entirely correct.

Ying Yungui saw the desire in Kulin's eyes. He was longing for him to give an answer that would make him give up.

But...

Ying Yungui still shook his head: "No one dares to say that what they believe is necessarily right. You haven't had a good rest for too long. Go back and have a good sleep. Let time take care of the rest."

——

In the 180th year of the new calendar, at the end of spring and the beginning of summer, Ying Yungui stayed in the Arctic Experimental Base for more than a month and finally returned to the association.

Lin Zhouze hadn't returned yet. Just as Ying Yungui was about to take a bath and go to the Mirage Abyss, the current head of the decision-making group hurried over and told him a piece of news with a pale face: "The Philer family and the Belmond family are arguing."

Ying Yungui's eyebrows jumped when he heard this. His bad premonition came true. "Why?"

"This...actually, it happened nearly a week ago." The head of the decision-making group fidgeted uncomfortably, carefully observing Ying Yungui's expression before speaking, "The Belmond Patriarch... Floy, died unexpectedly in District 13."

"The Belmond clan believes that this happened within the territory of the Feller clan and that they should give an explanation. However, the Feller clan insists that Floy's death was an accident, saying that he landed on the island without any prior contact. Therefore, this matter has nothing to do with them and they are not responsible."

Ying Yungui closed his eyes and took a deep breath, his anger rising: "Then what? What did your decision-making group do?" Needless to say, such a matter would be brought to the headquarters, and would definitely be resolved by the decision-making group.

As expected, the team leader was now covered in cold sweat. "We... our investigation found no signs of external energy intrusion on Floy, so we couldn't classify it as a supernatural event. So... we'll put it on hold for a few days."

Ying Yungui laughed in anger: "Under the pressure from both families, you just put it on hold? You're capable." How could the team leader not hear such obvious sarcasm? His limbs suddenly stiffened and he was suppressed by Ying Yungui's aura and couldn't raise his head.

He continued, "Patriarch Ryan was confused and ordered that Floyd's body be temporarily kept in District 13. After the matter was thoroughly investigated, it would be brought back to the Belmond family in District 1 for burial."

This arrangement should be reasonable, but since the head of the decision-making group himself appeared here, it meant that there must have been an accident later. Ying Yungui was annoyed, because he knew that he probably would not have time to find Shi Youchen.

"But... last night, the Belmond family's guards and keepers of the remains discovered that Floy's body had disappeared, and... Chief Feller didn't allow them to use 'Summoning' in Area 13."

"Bang!" The teacup on the table was smashed against the wall, shattering into pieces. Ying Yungui said in a grim tone, "After Lin Qi's death, who will be the current head of the Feller clan?"

The leader shuddered and said, "It's Will, Will Filler, the previous president's younger brother." Ying Yungui stood up and glanced at the stain on the wall. "Go back and guard your decision-making group. I'm going to District 13 myself."

Ying Yungui had heard the name Will Filler, but not on a beautiful and memorable occasion, but after he accidentally killed Zhao Heng Filler.

Will is Zhao Heng's biological father.

So by this calculation, there are two close relatives' lives between him and Will. After all, in the other's eyes, Lin Qi and Zhao Heng both died because of him, Ying Yungui.

"Fuck." Before boarding the plane, Ying Yun returned to the simulation practice room to vent his anger. He finally managed to suppress his violent desire a little, but he didn't expect to receive another explosive news on the way -

The Belmonds demanded a search of the place where the Fiele clan stored the "pending items", which was a warehouse of waste experimental subjects that was to be sent to various auction houses for disposal.

In a rage, Will Philer sent people to burn down all the Philer family's "transit stations" and experimental subjects.

"Is he fucking mentally ill?!" Ying Yungui cursed loudly, and said to Kulin on the other end, "Is this idiot mentally ill?! Ah!"

Kulin tried to appease him, saying, "Will Feller has a bad temper to begin with, and with the grudges you have with him, there's no way he'd accept you as a mediator. Why not just go all out and cut off the Belmond family's escape route?"

"Fuck." Ying Yungui couldn't hold it in any longer and kicked over the table in front of him. "Fuck! So it's my fault?! My fault?!" He repeated it and found it funny himself.

Kulin said hurriedly, "How is that possible? Don't overthink it. This is just his personal style. If you don't stay calm, won't you play into his hands?"

Ying Yungui gritted his teeth and said, "Alright, very good. This idiot clearly knows that this matter cannot be leaked to anyone, and he also knows that we must suppress it and even help him cover it up and clean up the mess!"

Kulin hummed softly, "But with this, the Philer family, at least the generation headed by Will, has come to the end in the super evolution circle."

At the mention of super evolution, Ying Yungui suddenly calmed down. After a moment's hesitation, he said, "Alright, then let's do as he wishes. Let's all help him clean up this mess." He then ordered the captain, "I'm not going to Area 13! Land nearby!"

When Kulin heard this, he quickly asked, "Ying, what are you going to do?"

Ying Yungui sneered: "What for? I'm going to kill those idiots from the Feller family!"
