After saying that, she left him with the words "Wait for me here," shoved her handbag into his hand, and scurried into the bathroom.
The strength he had been holding onto seemed to have been drained away, and Xie Yunkai's back slumped as he leaned heavily against the cold marble wall.
When Xie Yunkai saw the handsome face reflected in the mirror, disgust appeared in his eyes for the first time.
The banquet ended at 10 PM.
Ye Li and Qin Chu walked out of the hotel's revolving door and had just descended the stairs when a black Aston Martin pulled up smoothly. "Mrs. Fu, Miss Qin, I'll take you there!"
In the driver's seat, Su Nanjin, wearing a black shirt, had a bright smile.
"No need, thank you, Second Young Master!"
Ye Li smiled and pointed to the slowly approaching stretch Lincoln. "My car's here. I'm off!"
After saying that, Ye Li gently nudged Qin Chu, "You take her home!"
Looking up, Ye Li even winked mischievously.
Knowing perfectly well what she meant, Qin Chu turned back to look at Su Nanjin, who was walking around the front of the car, and then glanced at the banquet hall. "The guests haven't all left yet. It's not appropriate for you, the main guest of the banquet, to leave first, isn't it?"
"What's wrong with that?"
Su Nanjin laughed, "Anyway, everyone in the capital knows that the second young master of the Su family is a playboy. Besides, my brother is there, he'll clean up the mess."
Qin Chu nodded and bent down to sit in the passenger seat.
The car door slid down slowly, and Su Nanjin turned to look at Qin Chu's black dress. "You look beautiful! But I'd like to invite you for a drive. Would you like to go back and change first?"
Their eyes met, and they seemed to have guessed what Su Nanjin meant.
"OK!"
Qin Chu nodded and gave Freely's address.
The Aston Martin glided smoothly out.
More than half an hour later, the two race cars roared out of Freely and headed straight for the mountain road outside the city.
