On the other end of the phone, the man's voice carried a faint smile, "I've prepared a gift for you."

Hei Xiaoli crossed her arms and scoffed: "You're Mrs. Fu, can't you show some of your boss lady attitude? Anyone who didn't know better would think you're a college student here for an interview."
Bai Xiaoli thought cautiously: "Once we're in the elevator, will the receptionist whisper and gossip about who you are? With Assistant Xiang around, they probably won't, right?"
Before Ye Li could decide which foot to step through the door first, a rustling sound rang out, "Coming, coming, hurry up!"

Ye Li was taken aback when she heard a warm greeting.
"Welcome, Madam, to inspect our work!"
"Thank you for afternoon tea, Madam!"
"Madam, you're so beautiful! Madam, I'm Lisa from the front desk..."
Behind the beautifully designed curved desk, several receptionists looked at her with bright smiles, seemingly unable to contain their excitement.
It looked as if they were about to raise their hands and applaud at any moment.
On the left-hand display area, several staff members who were giving presentations smiled and nodded as they continued their work.
In the reception area on the right, Xiang Yang led the entire secretariat in a neat line.

Ye Li greeted the receptionists who were still standing straight behind their desks, and walked straight to the elevator without looking to the side.
Xiang Yang led Ye Li into the president's private elevator.
The rest of the secretariat staff entered the adjacent elevator.
As the elevator ascended, Ye Li sighed inwardly and looked at Xiang Yang with a helpless expression, "What is Fu Yanci up to?"
It seems like they're... officially announcing their relationship and showing off their love?
Xiang Yang smiled gently, "The boss said that after treating the whole company to morning and afternoon tea so many times, it's impossible for everyone to still not have met the boss's wife. So, he invited you, Madam, to make an appearance."

The elevator stopped at the top-floor office, and the door slid open slowly. Ye Li glanced at Xiang Yang with some hesitation.

What an embarrassing and socially awkward experience!
Noticing Ye Li's hesitation, Xiang Yang stepped out of the elevator and said, "Please, Madam."
The secretariat was quiet yet busy.
The tea room and rest room are fully equipped.
You can hear voices, phone calls, the occasional hum of a photocopier, and the hiss of a paper shredder.
Fu Yanci seems to have studied the "appearance association".
The male secretaries were all dressed in suits and ties, each with their own unique charm.
The female secretaries were all beautiful in their own way – some were aloof, some were radiant.
Everyone was busy with their own tasks.
When they occasionally encountered each other while passing by, it was as if they had already met Ye Li before. They would greet her politely and warmly with "Madam, you've arrived," without lingering at all.
For a moment, Ye Li felt as if this wasn't her first time here, but rather that she came every day, so she was very familiar with them.
Knock knock.
There was a knock on the office door, and Xiang Yang pushed it open and entered. "Boss, Madam has arrived!"
Ye Li breathed a sigh of relief and quickened her pace.
Before he could even exhale, he saw the group of people in Fu Yanci's office.

In the center of the sofa, Fu Yanci, with his white shirt rolled up to his forearm, got up and came forward. He took Ye Li's hand and led her into the office. He then said to Xiang Yang, who was about to close the door and leave, "A latte, and prepare some desserts that Madam likes."

Fu Yanci turned around and introduced Ye Li to the crowd who had already stood up: "Madam, Ye Li."

Fu Yanci put his arm around Ye Li and introduced her to everyone one by one.

"Madam, thank you for your afternoon tea!"

"Ah Li, this is the CFO, Julia..."

In just a few minutes, Ye Li's palms were sweating.
Fu Yanci was completely unaware. He looked around, pointed to the stairs, and said, "Go upstairs and watch TV for a while. We'll have dinner together after I'm done with my work."
