Before she could figure out what Fu Yanci was doing, she saw the man come out of the bathroom with a steaming white towel in his hand.
He pulled the blanket over and tossed it beside the fireplace.
Pick up Ye Li and place her on the blanket.
Fu Yanci grabbed the girl's feet and wiped the dirt off the soles.
It's a little itchy.
But Ye Li dared not laugh.
She stared blankly as the man returned, lowered his head, and rummaged through the shoe cabinet in the entryway to find a pair of slippers, which he then placed in front of her feet.

With her heartbeat returning to normal, Ye Li breathed a sigh of relief.
Fu Yanci just now was really... terrifying!!!
Thankfully, he's not entirely unreasonable...
Before Ye Li could finish her thought, Fu Yanci pulled her up from the ground and led her to the door.

Seeing the man's sullen face, still looking angry, Ye Li smiled ingratiatingly, "I wasn't cold for long, really! I saw your car drive up as soon as I locked the door, really!"

I should at least tell her the password, right?
What if one day she wears makeup and the facial recognition system doesn't recognize her, or the fingerprint recognition system can't recognize her?
Fu Yanci paused in his steps.
Under the bright crystal chandelier overhead, the man's face was deep and handsome, as dashing as a movie star who had just returned from an awards ceremony.
His expression, however, was somewhat enigmatic and unfathomable.
Knowing instinctively that she shouldn't ask this question, Ye Li hadn't even uttered the words, "It's okay, it's okay, I don't want to know anymore."
Then Fu Yanci led her forward.
The man looked completely at ease, as if he hadn't been the one who had just lost his mind.
There was only a hint of unnaturalness in his voice, "Password, 1028."
My heart skipped a beat.
