Chapter 15: The first lesson is always so easy!

The morning sun shines down, warm and comforting.

The little ones came running from the cafeteria with their short legs, squinting their eyes comfortably and stretching.

"There's no fog today! It's been so long since I've seen the sun!"

Before long, the teacher arrived, dressed in a magnificent blue and white robe.

Beside the Master was a cluster of waves, supporting nine prayer cushions and a desk.

It's not surprising that he knows magic, but the waves were able to follow him closely. Moreover, the futon was made of wool and cloth, and it didn't get wet at all.

On the desk were an incense burner, books, and a cup, with steaming tea still inside, all intact.

The output of that spiritual energy must be incredibly stable!

"Wow—" "You're so amazing!" "What kind of demon are you?" "Can you conjure flowers from water?"

The babies opened their mouths wide and exclaimed in amazement.

The most skilled cultivator, Xiao Jia, clapped his hands, his little face full of admiration.

The Master is truly amazing!

With such a teacher, they will surely be able to form their demon core in a very short time.

If I had transformed into human form sooner and gained the ability to defend myself, I wouldn't have had to live in constant fear, hiding in the animal park.

It's not just Hoshino who's being targeted by others.

Xiao Jia is a pangolin spirit. Somehow, mortals mistook its scales for miraculous medicines, and its population wasn't much better than that of the Black Water Dragon.

Meimei's newly grown feathers will have a beautiful blue-green color, and many people will go all over the world to capture her people for these feathers, but somehow the feathers will quickly turn black.

They're not as reckless as Hoshino; they wouldn't just wander out of the animal park like that.

The waves arranged the cushions and tables, turning the open space into an open-air classroom. The waves then fell to the ground, wetting the soil, which quickly evaporated and dried.

The young monsters exclaimed in surprise once again.

"Would you like to learn this skill of controlling spiritual energy?"

Lin Che sat down cross-legged on the prayer mat.

The babies nodded repeatedly, their little voices rising and falling.

"Yes!" "I don't want water splashes, I want vines!" "Master, Master, can you teach us to turn our tails into fire golems?" "Woof woof woof!"

Lin Che said calmly, "Alright, then calm down and start with meditation and breathing exercises."

The eight cubs nodded and sat down on the prayer mats.

Xiaojia and Xingye can maintain their human form for a long time. Shanshan's hands are still in the shape of wings, but her legs are perfectly long. They can sit cross-legged without any pressure.

Meimei, the three brothers, and Hongshu could only sit on the futon in their original form.

The puppy was dizzy and couldn't even understand what the master wanted them to do, but seeing that everyone was trying to meditate, he curled up into a ball, sat on the futon, wagged his tail and stuck out his tongue.

Although everyone had doubts about meditation, this teacher was someone the headmistress had gone to great lengths to find for them. Moreover, he had demonstrated such powerful magic; he must be a very capable person.

Time is slipping away, bit by bit.

The sun gradually rises.

The little fairies couldn't maintain their human forms and all reverted to their original forms.

Shan Shan transformed back into a crow's claws, preened the feathers on her hands, and yawned. Xiao Jia's pangolin scales had all grown out, densely covering his face and back, making a clicking sound with the slightest movement, so he could only sit still and endure it.

The three fire beasts fell asleep on the futon at the same time, their fiery red bodies curled into a ball of fur, which would slightly expand with each breath.

They are close relatives of rodents and are typical nocturnal animals. They get sleepy during the day, let alone under such a bright sun.

Xiao Jia couldn't hold back any longer and asked, "Master, how much longer do we have to meditate?"

Lin Che said, "Until you discover it yourselves."

Shan Shan flapped her wings impatiently: "What did you find?"

Lin Che pursed his lips, his mouth curving upwards. The silver-white mask covered most of his face, leaving the children completely baffled by his meaning.

He continued reading his book and ignored it.

The meditation continued in this way.

When Zhao Xi, bearing her injuries and leaning on her crutches, limped over to check on the class, she only saw the children making a ruckus.

They whispered among themselves. Xiao Jia started playing with the mud, and Mei Mei, after being hit by a stone thrown by Shan Shan, tried to peck a small ball of dirt to throw back. The throwing soon affected everyone else, but Xing Ye remained sitting there cross-legged in meditation.

He usually lives alone, and now he stands out even more from the crowd.

Lin Che sat in the back, ignoring everything, and continued reading his book.

The sun was blazing, and it was so hot that people were sweating profusely.

The sacred mountain, which was originally shrouded in celestial mist, is now completely obscured. Even the towering trees on the open ground have been uprooted by Lin Che, leaving it completely exposed.

There must have been a reason, but Zhao Xi just couldn't figure it out no matter how hard she tried.

If you just rely on meditation to comprehend Lin Che's meaning, wouldn't the progress be too slow?

She's just a mortal, with at most a few decades left to live. Are these idiots still meditating here while she's a toothless old woman in the animal park?!

Moreover, shouldn't teachers, as guides, design teaching methods to help students understand better and faster?

For a fleeting second, she even considered going somewhere else to find a better trainer.

"Pfft~"

Zhao Xi wanted to make a sound, so she beckoned to Lin Che with her finger.

Lin Che glanced up at her, but ignored her and continued reading.

The children, however, noticed her, got off the cushions, rushed to her side, and chattered excitedly.

"Headmistress!" "Headmistress, we've been sitting here for so long!" "Headmistress, why are we meditating?"
