Meanwhile, at Lanshan Villa.
Inside the study, He Lengqian listened to the busy tone on the other end of the phone and looked at his phone in disbelief.
The call had already gone through, but Mu Chuchu deliberately hung up on him.
"You've grown quite a bit in just a few days," He Lengqian said, about to call back, when his phone rang. It was a message from Mu Chuchu.
Upon opening the message, He Lengqian discovered that Mu Chuchu had only sent him an emoticon.

He could almost picture how funny Mu Chuchu would look when she made an emoticon-like expression, and He Lengqian couldn't help but curl the corners of his lips into a smile.
Butler Li came into the study to bring tea and happened to hear the soft laughter. He looked at He Lengqian in surprise.
He Lengqian stopped smiling and looked at Butler Li. "Butler Li, you've come at the right time. Come and help me see what this means."
Butler Li put down his teacup and curiously leaned over to take a look.
Even though Butler Li was getting on in years, he could tell that Mu Chuchu was sending a disgusted emoji.
Butler Li could hardly believe it.
Miss Mu, haven't you always liked Mr. Mu? Why are you complaining about him today?
"What does this mean?" He Lengqian asked, staring at Butler Li.
Butler Li suddenly felt immense pressure. He dared not tell the truth and could only smile awkwardly. "Sir, the emojis you showed me are the ones young people use when chatting and texting. I don't understand what they mean. Why don't you call Miss Mu and ask her yourself?"
He Lengqian thought that Butler Li made sense, nodded, and dialed Mu Chuchu's number again.
A gentle woman's voice quickly came through the receiver, "Hello, the number you dialed is currently switched off. Please try again later..."
He narrowed his brown eyes behind his glasses coldly and casually put down his phone. "Go check what activities Mu Chuchu has tomorrow."
"Yes." Butler Li nodded quickly and then hurriedly left.
When Mu Chuchu got home, it was already four in the morning. She went upstairs to her room, took a shower, and then collapsed onto the bed, falling into a deep sleep.
Mu Chuchu slept until nine o'clock the next morning before being woken up by a knock on the door.
Knock knock knock—
The orderly knocking on the door rang out again and again, as if it wouldn't stop until Mu Chuchu was woken up.
Mu Chuchu lay on the bed, covering her head with a pillow, pretending she couldn't hear anything.
"Chuchu, it's me. I have something to tell you." Wen Min's voice sounded from outside the door.
When Mu Chuchu heard that the person outside the door was Wen Min, she became even less inclined to acknowledge her.
I won't listen, I won't listen, you're just spouting nonsense.
Wen Min, standing outside the door, seemed to realize that Mu Chuchu wasn't going to talk to her anymore, so she gave up on going in and said from outside, "Chuchu, there's a dinner party at the Century Hotel's rooftop restaurant at 6 pm tonight. Your dad told you to dress up nicely and come over, so don't be late."
The Mu family used to often eat out as a family, and Mu Chuchu was used to it. She didn't have the mind to argue with Wen Min anymore, so she agreed and went back to sleep.
Wen Min left the room, and Mu Chuchu slept until 4:30 in the afternoon.
After getting up, Mu Chuchu turned on her phone and quickly checked her missed calls.
As expected, Mu Chuchu saw He Lengqian's name and snorted.
It seems that hanging up on Uncle He did have an effect, otherwise he wouldn't have persisted in calling her!
