"Come and have breakfast," He Lengqian said, putting down his newspaper.
Seeing that He Lengqian's attitude towards her was still lukewarm, Mu Chuchu pouted, walked to the seat next to He Lengqian, and calmly pulled out a chair and sat down.
He Lengqian glanced at Mu Chuchu, but Mu Chuchu's attention was already drawn to the food.
Sitting next to her was a moving spring of spiritual energy. She was inhaling the spring water from his body while enjoying delicious food. Her mood could only be described as wonderful.
Seeing Mu Chuchu sitting next to He Lengqian, the maid couldn't help but remind her, "Miss, your seat is opposite the master. The master is a germaphobe and doesn't like others sitting next to him."
"Really?" Mu Chuchu frowned, turned to He Lengqian and asked, "Uncle, can I sit next to you?"
Her pitiful expression, coupled with her soft and gentle tone.
Men seem to like this.
"Sit across from me." He Lengqian had no intention of indulging Mu Chuchu.
He knew exactly what mischief this little fox was up to.
Seeing that her charm had failed again, Mu Chuchu had no choice but to obediently stand up and walk to the other side.
Sitting angrily opposite He Lengqian, Mu Chuchu stared at him with her lovely big eyes.
Is this man really a man?
How could her charm have no effect on him at all?
Seeing Mu Chuchu obediently go to the other side, He Lengqian's heart suddenly felt empty. When he turned to look at the maid, his eyes were as cold as ice.
"You're fired."
The maid, who had been so smug, immediately looked at He Lengqian with a bewildered expression.
"gentlemen?"
Without He Lengqian and the maid exchanging any words, Butler Li walked up to the maid and pulled her directly out of the restaurant.
"Sir! You can't just fire me like this! I didn't do anything wrong! Sir! Sir!" The maid shouted at He Lengqian as she was forced to walk toward the living room door.
He Lengqian acted as if he hadn't heard.
Just a second before the maid was about to be dragged out the door, Mu Chuchu glanced at her.
She then recognized that the maid was the one who had treated her badly before.
"I'm going to the US on a business trip for a few days," He Lengqian suddenly said to Mu Chuchu.
"What about me?" Mu Chuchu immediately looked at He Lengqian nervously, her face showing that she was unwilling to be left behind.
When He Lengqian saw her looking at him with those innocent, animal-like eyes again, his brown eyes turned slightly strange.
Lowering his gaze to conceal the strange light in his eyes, He Lengqian avoided looking into Mu Chuchu's eyes and said calmly, "Of course you'll stay here. Naturally, if you remember who you are, you can leave at any time."
"I'll wait for you here," Mu Chuchu said quickly.
He Lengqian nodded indifferently.
Mu Chuchu felt that all the delicious food on the table had lost its flavor. She bit her lower lip and looked at He Lengqian pitifully, asking, "What if I miss you?"
He Lengqian paused in his coffee cup-holding motion and looked up at Mu Chuchu again.
The tension and anticipation in her eyes were genuine.
"Butler Li will give you a cell phone later. Do you remember how to use it?" He Lengqian said.
Mu Chuchu tilted her head and thought for a moment, then said in a serious tone, "I don't remember."
Seeing that Mu Chuchu was determined to play dumb, He Lengqian didn't bother to expose her. He looked at Butler Li, who had just returned to the restaurant, and said, "Uncle Li, teach her how to use a mobile phone after breakfast."
