After the two finished their meal, the time on their phones was only 1:30, and they still had an hour before leaving.
"You've been busy all day. Go take a nap on the bed inside. I'll call you when it's almost time." Qi Xingchen said softly.
They booked a suite, which was very large with many rooms and everything they needed for daily life.
Wen Ran was already sitting on the sofa, almost unable to open his eyes, and he looked lazy. "Okay, call me in an hour."
Wen Ran stood up, but before she could take a step, there was a loud bang from the door, which scared her so much that her heart skipped a beat.
"What's going on?"
"I'll go take a look." Qi Xingchen walked towards the door.
Wen Ran also followed. His sleepiness had mostly dissipated due to the loud noise just now. He wondered if there were paparazzi taking pictures of them.
The sound of the door opening had disappeared, but the sound of a key turning and unlocking the door could be heard from the door lock.
Before the two could react, the door was pushed open from the outside.
Shang Jingchi's eerie and terrifying face came into view.
"business……"
As soon as Qi Xingchen said a word, Shang Jingchi punched him in the face with full force.
There was a muffled "bang" sound.
Qi Xingchen was caught off guard and staggered back several steps before he could steady himself.
He touched the numb right side of his face and glared at Shang Jingchi, "Shang Jingchi, don't go too far!"
Shang Jingchi took a step forward and walked into the door. There was nothing on his face except anger. Lu Jingchuan also walked in behind him.
Shang Jingchi was not satisfied after punching Qi Xingchen once, and he raised his foot to kick Qi Xingchen in the heart.
Wen Ran came to his senses, took a step forward, opened his arms and stood in front of Qi Xingchen, blocking him and Shang Jingchi.
"Shang Jingchi, what are you crazy about?"
He came here for no reason and beat someone up without saying a word. This is unacceptable to anyone.
Wen Ran glared at Lu Jingchuan who was standing beside Shang Jingchi. Seeing his guilty look, he knew that he must have been the one who reported the news to Shang Jingchi.
"I'm crazy?"
Shang Jingchi rushed forward, pinched Wen Ran's cheek fiercely, and snorted coldly: "No wonder you can't wait to leave me, it turns out you are in a hurry to get a room here with Qi Xingchen!"
Shang Jingchi's eyes were red because he was angry.
When Lu Jingchuan told him at first, he refused to believe it.
It wasn't until the moment he pushed open the door and saw that there were only the two of them in the room that he became completely furious, so angry that he wanted to kill someone.
"Who gave you the courage to betray me like this?" Shang Jingchi pinched Wen Ran's cheek tightly.
Wen Ran was being pinched like this and couldn't speak at all. She could only struggle to pry Shang Jingchi's hand away.
A "wuwuwu" sound comes from his mouth.
"Let her go!"
Qi Xingchen raised his fist and swung it straight at Shang Jingchi's face, with the same merciless force.
If it was at the beginning that he was punched by Shang Jingchi because of a misunderstanding, he could have ignored it.
But he couldn't accept Shang Jingchi hurting Wen Ran. He couldn't tolerate Shang Jingchi like this for a moment.
Shang Jingchi pushed his palm to the side and pushed Wen Ran directly to the ground.
The floor was made of marble tiles, and Wen Ran was wearing thin clothes. She fell on it and was in so much pain that she couldn't get up.
Shang Jingchi and Qi Xingchen were already fighting each other, completely disregarding their lives.
Lu Jingchuan, an outsider, ran over to support Wen Ran and wanted to help her stand up. "How are you?"
Wen Ran pushed him away angrily, gritted her teeth and stood up, "Did you call Shang Jingchi here?"
Lu Jingchuan curled his lips and said, "It's because you and Mr. Qi checked into a room here."
"We are hyping it up! Do you understand what hype means?" Wen Ran yelled at Lu Jingchuan angrily.
"Besides, Shang Jingchi and I have already broken up. It's none of your business what I want to do."
Looking at Shang Jingchi and Qi Xingchen again, they were fighting each other and had completely lost their minds.
But Qi Xingchen is obviously no match for Shang Jingchi.
There were several bruises on his face and blood at the corners of his mouth.
Shang Jingchi wasn't in much better condition either. His hair and suit were messed up, and his forehead was bruised.
Wen Ran shouted at the two of them, "Stop fighting!"
Lu Jingchuan rushed over and hugged Shang Jingchi's waist, "Boss, stop it now! You've ruined my lead actor's image. How am I supposed to film the rest of the movie?"
"I don't care how you shoot!" Shang Jingchi turned around and yelled at him.
He was originally angry when Lu Jingchuan secretly asked Qi Xingchen to play the male lead in his new drama, and now he even wanted to beat him up.
Lu Jingchuan hugged Shang Jingchi tightly and dragged him towards the door.
Wen Ran pulled Qi Xingchen in another direction, putting some distance between them.
Looking at the blood at the corner of Qi Xingchen's mouth, Wen Ran asked worriedly, "How are you now?"
Qi Xingchen raised his hand to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth and smiled at Wen Ran, but accidentally pulled the wound, and the pain made his face change again.
Wen Ran's face was serious. "I'll take you to the hospital."
"It's okay." Qi Xingchen patted Wen Ran's hand that was holding his arm and comforted her softly, "Don't worry about me."
Shang Jingchi happened to see this scene, and his anger was instantly ignited again.
He pushed Lu Jingchuan away and walked towards him.
Wen Ran quickly stood in front of Qi Xingchen, "Shang Jingchi, if you do that again I'll call the police!"
Shang Jingchi's face was gloomy. He stared at Wen Ran for a moment, then suddenly smiled sinisterly, "Call the police? Do you think I'm afraid of you calling the police?"
Wen Ran looked alert; Shang Jingchi in front of him looked too dangerous.
But she couldn't back down. She took a deep breath and asked word by word, "So what do you want?"
