Wen Ran put his elbows on the bar, supported his chin with his palms, and waited like that. His eyelids were about to droop when Shang Jingchi finally finished peeling the first Torreya grandis.
He stretched out his big hand, "Ranran, open your mouth."
Wen Ran opened her mouth and took a bite. The meat was crispy, sweet and had a lingering taste. She nodded in approval, "Hmm, it tastes pretty good."
