Chapter 67 Let My Sister Go

Jiang Yiyi wiped her tears, pushed Jiang Zhengting away, and ran away.

Wen Ran wanted to chase him, but Shang Jingchi had his arms around her waist and she couldn't break free no matter what.

Jiang Zhengting felt sad as he watched Jiang Yiyi running away.

He lowered his eyes and paused for a moment before speaking again.

"Jingchi, you've seen it too. Yiyi is inexperienced and doesn't know how to interact with people. If it weren't for Miss Wen, she wouldn't even want to talk to a stranger. I hope that in your company, I can help her correct these bad habits."

Jiang Zhengting is old, and Jiang Yiyi is the only one left in the Jiang family.

No matter what, Jiang Yiyi will inherit the Jiang Group in the future.

However, for a qualified and progressive enterprise, the leader must not be a person with a weak character, timid and afraid to speak.

"That's a good idea." Wen Ran agreed.

After thinking it over carefully, she expressed her concerns again, "But Yiyiyi's personality might make it difficult for her to accept a completely new environment. What if she can't adapt?"

Jiang Zhengting looked at Shang Jingchi with a firm gaze, placing his hopes on Shang Jingchi.

Shang Jingchi said helplessly, "If someone cries, gets sick, or gets tired, Director Jiang will be responsible for it."

Jiang Zhengting gratefully repeated, "That's for sure! That's for sure!"

"I want to go see Yiyi." Wen Ran blinked her peach blossom eyes and looked at Shang Jingchi pleadingly.

Shang Jingchi finally relented.

Wen Ran turned and ran, fearing that Shang Jingchi would go back on his word.

Jiang Zhengting and Shang Jingchi started talking about other things and took him to taste some of their collected wines.

The banquet hall was brightly lit and the guests were toasting each other.

Sometimes he drank too much and got half drunk, then he pulled his dance partner to dance on the dance floor.

Wen Ran walked through the crowd and found Jiang Yiyi in the most remote corner of the banquet hall.

Fortunately, Jiang Yiyi was not crying, and Wen Ran sat beside her silently.

"Sister, I don't want to take over the company. I just want to be with grandpa forever." Jiang Yiyi half-closed her eyes, tilted her head and leaned against the back of the chair, looking tired.

"So you think your grandpa is always so tired?" Wen Ran asked.

Jiang Yiyi shook her head. She just hoped that Jiang Zhengting could be happy every day.

"If you don't want your grandfather to be so tired, then you have to support the Jiang family yourself. Only in this way can your grandfather enjoy his old age without worries."

Jiang Yiyi was silent.

Wen Ran took two pieces of gold foil chocolate mousse from the table, sat on the chair and started eating them happily.

The chocolate has a rich aroma and the mousse has a smooth texture, making every bite a real pleasure.

After she finished eating one, she picked up another one with a toothpick and fed it to Jiang Yiyi.

Jiang Yiyi raised her eyelids and took a look, but she had no intention of eating. She asked, "Sister, can I?"

"Of course!" Wen Ran's voice suddenly rose two or three times.

Seeing that Jiang Yiyi didn't eat it, Wen Ran opened his mouth and put this one into his own.

After swallowing it, a new idea popped up in his head, and he looked at Jiang Yiyi with ill intention.

"How about we make a bet on whether you can successfully take over Jiang Corporation in the future? If you can, you give me one million. If not, you give me ten million!"

Jiang Yiyi was confused and frowned.

After half a minute, Jiang Yiyi scratched her head and looked at Wen Ran, "Sister, this bet doesn't seem right."

No matter how she thought about it, she felt that she was at a disadvantage.

"I'm doing this to give you more motivation. It's all for your own good." Wen Ran shamelessly forced an explanation.

Jiang Yiyi nodded slowly, "It seems so. Then I'll make this bet with my sister."

Wen Ran suppressed his laughter and narrowed his eyes, "Deal!"

Jiang Yiyi accepted her fate of internship at Shang Group, and she began to think about eating.

She took several cakes, desserts and red wine from the table.

Thinking of Shang Jingchi, she began to ask Wen Ran, "Sister, are you and Mr. Shang really in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship? I don't think he's worthy of you at all."

Jiang Yiyi compared the bird's nest rice cake in her hand to Shang Jingchi, bit it hard, and chewed it hard.

Wen Ran did not answer. Jiang Yiyi's words were indeed more difficult than the math questions in the college entrance examination.

When she heard Shang Jingchi say that she was his girlfriend, she was no less frightened than Jiang Yiyi.

"Sister, Mr. Shang is very cunning. You must not be deceived by him."

Jiang Yiyi has said this to Wen Ran more than once.

Wen Ran understood it in her heart, but she and Shang Jingchi could not get through in a short time.

Wen Ran gave Jiang Yiyi a reassuring smile, "Don't worry, I know what's going on."

"That's good." Jiang Yiyi responded, but she was still worried.

A slow and melodious symphony sounded in the banquet hall, announcing that the cocktail party had entered the dancing session.

There were more and more people on the dance floor, with men and women in pairs dancing ballroom dance with great passion.

Wen Ran pulled Jiang Yiyi over to watch the fun, and they whispered about who couldn't dance and stepped on the other's foot.

The two of them laughed and soon forgot what they had just talked about.

"Miss, may I invite you to dance with me?"

A young man in a white suit and a red tie walked up to Wen Ran, bent down gentlemanly and extended his right hand to her.

"No..." Wen Ran had just said one word when Shang Jingchi's domineering and cold voice came from behind him.

"I'm her dance partner!" he said, putting his arm around Wen Ran's waist.

The young man smiled politely, "Sorry to bother you," and then went somewhere else.

Wen Ran raised his head, "Why are you here?"

Shang Jingchi pinched her chin, expressionless and deliberately slowing down his tone.

"You don't want me to come, so you want to dance with another man?"

"Let me go!" Jiang Yiyi couldn't bear to watch it anymore.

In public, Shang Jingchi showed no respect for Wen Ran and even pinched her chin.

Jiang Yiyi puffed up her cheeks with anger. She swore that when she became stronger, she would make Shang Jingchi pay!

Shang Jingchi turned his head and looked at Jiang Yiyi with disdain.

Jiang Yiyi glared at him, determined not to back down.

Shang Jingchi snorted coldly, turned his head, leaned over and kissed Wen Ran directly.

A row of fireworks suddenly exploded above Wen Ran's head.

Jiang Yiyi's pupils suddenly shrank. She turned away in anger and shame, cursing Shang Jingchi for being shameless in her heart.

Later, he couldn't bear it anymore, and couldn't afford to offend Shang Jingchi, so he just ran away.

How could Wen Ran like such a bastard? She felt sorry for Wen Ran.

Wen Ran raised his hand and patted Shang Jingchi's arm, wanting Shang Jingchi to let go. He felt extremely annoyed.

When Shang Jingchi gets crazy, he really doesn't care about the occasion at all.

Shang Jingchi never cared about these things and would only let go of the person when he had kissed her to his heart's content.

Wen Ran panted and looked at Shang Jingchi complainingly, "Can you tell me next time?"

Every time he would start kissing her for no apparent reason, leaving her completely off guard.
