Wen Ran looked at Shang Jingchi with a strange look, as if to say, are you sure you are not joking?
In fact, Shang Jingchi was not joking.
He took Wen Ran to the most luxurious hotel in Chunjiang City to check in, and asked Xiao Zhao to deliver all of Wen Ran's things in the middle of the night.

Wen Ran rarely opened her eyes and saw Shang Jingchi was still asleep.

Wen Ran came out of the bathroom after finishing up and found an extra large white shopping bag on the table, which was bulging as if it was full of things.
"Did you buy it outside?" Wen Ran asked as he walked over.
"There was only one pack left at the front desk. I was afraid it wouldn't be enough for you, so I went to the supermarket next door," Shang Jingchi explained.
Wen Ran walked to the table and opened the shopping bag. Inside were all kinds of sanitary napkins, as well as hot packs and brown sugar ginger tea.
Adding all these together, Wen Ran wouldn't be able to use them all even if she came for a month straight. It was simply too much.
But she didn't say anything, she turned around and smiled brightly at Shang Jingchi, "Thank you."
"Are you just thanking me verbally?" Shang Jingchi sat lazily on the chair with his legs crossed.
Wen Ran let go of the shopping bag and walked up to him. After thinking for a moment, she said, "Then I'll cook for you when I return to the capital."
Wen Ran has a strong belief in her cooking skills. Now she thinks that what she cooks is delicious, at least Shang Jingchi always finishes it.
"Okay." Shang Jingchi placed his large palm on Wen Ran's lower abdomen. "Does your stomach hurt? The clerk said that patch is effective for stomachaches."
"That's called a heat patch." Wen Ran said in a light and gentle tone, "My stomach doesn't hurt. I have to go to the karaoke room to practice singing. We'll have our first official rehearsal tomorrow."
"Don't go. Just rest in the hotel." Shang Jingchi grabbed Wen Ran's wrist, pulled her and motioned her to sit on his lap.
Wen Ran refused to sit down, as she was afraid that she would not be able to get up after sitting down.
"No, I have to go. I haven't practiced several of the lyrics yet, and my climax isn't quite right."
Seeing Shang Jingchi's hint of displeasure, Wen Ran quickly said, "Come with me! You said you wouldn't return to the capital anyway, so it's a good opportunity for us to have lunch together."

He took out the documents from the suitcase and placed a large pile on the table.
