Chapter 52 Jealousy is probably his overthinking
"Thank you, I understand." She smiled and nodded as she said goodbye to the student union member who was handing out flyers, but there was no reply from Fu Haoyao on the other end of the phone.
But it's no big deal, she knows where the other party will be.
Fu Liangxia walked into the cafeteria, his eyes passing over some of the people looking up at him, and staring straight at a place on the second floor.
Looking at each other from afar through the glass, she saw Fu Haoyao looking down, and Fu Langshu sitting beside him with her legs crossed, looking at her phone intently.
It doesn't seem surprising that the other party would appear here.
On the second floor, Fu Haoyao became a little uneasy since he saw Fu Liangxia reply "OK".
He vaguely felt that inviting the other party to dinner was moving too fast, but the voice in his heart told him that it was just friends having dinner together, not a date, so it was nothing serious.
A minute later, Fu Liangxia walked upstairs in full view of everyone and stood in front of Fu Haoyao's desk. Fu Langshu was looking down at something in his hands, his smooth platinum hair cascading down his ears. His black shirt was rolled up to his forearms, revealing the toned curves of his arms.
Hearing the voice, he looked up and was slightly startled when he saw her face: "What a coincidence."
Fu Liangxia was silent for a moment, thinking that it was not a coincidence that your brother asked her to come.
"I wanted to take you home that night, but unfortunately I couldn't find you. I'm glad you got back safely." Fu Langshu smiled and said.
He was very different today than he was in the club. He had restrained his almost evil tone and became the same person he was when Fu Liangxia first met him: restrained, polite, and a little aloof.
For some reason, Fu Liangxia always had the illusion that the other party was deliberately bringing up that day.
The two looked at each other, and the atmosphere seemed to be instantly pulled back to that ambiguous night because of these words, the light kiss, the warmth and breath of each other...
Fu Liangxia stopped letting her imagination run wild, sat down in the empty seat next to Xu Ke, and said, "Thank you for your concern. A friend gave me a ride home that day."
Fu Langshu's gaze paused on her face for a few seconds, and as if asking casually, he said casually, "Friend, is it the boy with platinum hair?"
He was very restrained in his wording and replaced "male host" with "boy".
However, the two people next to him focused on the platinum hair. Xu Ke glanced at Fu Haoyao implicitly, while Fu Haoyao himself was stunned.
His brain couldn't digest so much information at once.
So the current situation is that his brother and Fu Liangxia met one night, and his brother wanted to send her off, but Fu Liangxia had another friend with her at the time, and that friend also had platinum hair.
Fu Haoyao's eyes slowly froze. When he thought of the scene of a man and a woman alone together late at night, he felt a subtle discomfort in his heart.
That boy——
He rolled the five words "white-blonde hair" on the tip of his tongue.
I feel unhappy.
Anyone who dyes their hair this color these days is probably a hoodlum from somewhere, thinking they're keeping up with the latest trends, but in reality, they're incredibly energetic. Of course, he's different from his brother; they were born with it.
But how could such a "thug" go out alone with Fu Liangxia and even send her home?
And he just wanted to ask her out for a simple meal at school, but he hesitated for a whole class.
As he thought about this, Fu Liangxia answered Fu Langshu's question: "Yes, it's him."
There was nothing wrong with admitting this. After all, Xiao A was Bai Xin, and he was someone he knew. But even if the other party was really an ordinary male host, Fu Liangxia didn't think there was anything wrong with saying it out loud.
Fu Langshu nodded when he heard this, and didn't ask any more questions. Instead, he continued to look at his phone.
A lot of dishes had been ordered on the table. Fu Liangxia took a quick look and found that most of them were her favorites. She raised her eyebrows in surprise.
Just as she was about to express her surprise, she looked up and saw Fu Haoyao staring at her without blinking across from her.
Fu Liangxia: "..."
Fu Haoyao raised his eyebrows: "You went to the bar?"
He thought about where his brother had a social event last weekend and why he came back smelling of alcohol at some point, and he guessed where the two had met by chance.
Fu Liangxia nodded and smiled sweetly: "What's wrong? Are you surprised?"
Judging from his expression, he was indeed a little surprised.
The boy shook his head: "No, unfortunately."
"Regret?" she asked.
"I'm sorry you didn't call me," Fu Haoyao looked at her, "I thought we were friends, after all, a life-and-death relationship."
Although it is the life in the game.
Fu Liangxia found it funny and promised casually: "I'll ask you to come along next time."
A smile suddenly appeared on Fu Haoyao's lips. Then he thought of something and asked, "What about the boy with platinum hair?"
Fu Liangxia: "Hmm?"
"Will you call him too?" He asked this for some reason.
She thought about it carefully and felt that she would not be willing to pay the other party's hourly fee, so she said firmly: "Probably not."
For some reason, the other party instantly showed a very happy expression when he heard her say this.
Fu Langshu also raised her head and glanced at Fu Haoyao, who was almost unable to control his smile. She looked at her deeply again, said nothing, and just laughed softly.
The meal was a great pleasure for both the host and the guests, so when Xu Ke suggested taking a photo with Fu Langshu at Fu Haoyao's suggestion, the other party did not object.
Xu Ke rubbed his hands in anticipation: "Just think about it, taking a photo with the legendary business genius, my blog will be flooded with likes tonight."
Fu Haoyao hit him: "That's just riding on my brother's coattails, what's so great about that?"
"Tsk, Brother Fu, you will never understand the feelings of us mortals... Mr. Fu, how about taking a photo with us?" Xu Ke invited enthusiastically.
Fu Liangxia didn't expect that there was something for her to do, and was slightly startled: "Do I want it too?"
"Come on, come on." Xu Ke thought to himself, of course I do, you're the one I need the most. For a photo, didn't you see that his brother Fu's eyelids were almost twitching.
So he let Fu Liangxia go inside and sit next to Fu Haoyao, with Fu Langshu on the other side. Xu Ke, who suggested taking a photo, sat at the outermost side.
"One, two, three, snap!"
Xu Ke held up his phone, revealing only half of his face, but saw that the other three were perfectly captured in the photo.
Two boys with similar looks but completely different temperaments sat on both sides. Fu Liangxia sat in the middle, looking at the camera and smiling. Fu Haoyao next to her carefully reached out and smoothed a small strand of her hair.
The eldest and second sons of the Fu family were both handsome in their own ways, but anyone who saw the photo would immediately notice Fu Liangxia, the one in the middle. It wasn't just because of her outstanding appearance, but because everyone in the photo seemed to be keeping their gaze fixed on her, making one's eyes involuntarily follow their gaze.
Xu Ke secretly passed the photo to Fu Haoyao and asked Fu Liangxia by the way, but got a reply that the other party didn't need. Instead, it was Fu Langshu who whispered to him for a copy of the original photo when they went downstairs.
Xu Ke looked at Fu Langshu, who had a perfect smile on his face, and a bold idea flashed through his mind.
However, this guess was too crazy, so he didn't dare to tell Fu Haoyao for the time being.
He was afraid that he would go crazy after hearing it.
…
After dinner, Fu Liangxia went back to the class lounge as usual to lie down for a while, while Fu Haoyao lay on the sofa in his personal lounge, staring at the photos on his mobile phone. When he enlarged the screen to show only him and Fu Liangxia, he began to daydream.
He was so engrossed in watching that he didn't even notice someone opening the door next door and walking in.
F4's personal lounges all share a living room. Cheng Xingzhou originally wanted to go to the living room to get a bottle of water from the refrigerator, but he suddenly saw a pair of feet sticking out from the edge of the sofa, and his eyebrows jumped slightly.
"Here I come." He passed by Fu Haoyao, his eyes casually swept over him, and he couldn't help but glanced at the screen.
The foot that had just taken a step forward paused, he turned back, frowned slightly, and felt as if he had just seen a familiar face.
"What are you looking at that makes you so engrossed?" he asked.
"Hmm?" Fu Haoyao seemed to have just noticed him and raised his eyelids to glance at him. "The student union isn't busy today, and you actually have time to come to the lounge."
"It's okay. Everyone is busy with your brother's seminar." Cheng Xingzhou put one hand in his pocket and held a glass in the other hand, and replied lightly.
What he was thinking about was the scene he had just caught a glimpse of. The more he thought about it, the more familiar it seemed.
That outline, that smile, is somewhat like Fu Liangxia.
However, Cheng Xingzhou quickly dismissed this idea in his mind. As far as he knew, Fu Haoyao and she were just an ordinary tutor-student relationship, and there should be nothing else.
And it’s hard to say whether it’s out of confidence or for some other reason, but Cheng Xingzhou always feels that Fu Liangxia treats him differently.
He looks indifferent, but also like he hasn't completely let go.
Cheng Xingzhou felt that the other party should still have some attachment to him. If that was the case, how could she be so close to someone else?
He must have been overthinking it.
Thinking this way, Cheng Xingzhou didn't care that Fu Haoyao changed the subject, and didn't directly answer the question of what he was reading.
He took out a bottle of ice water from the refrigerator and poured it into the cup. Suddenly, for some unknown reason, he opened his circle of friends, which he hadn't checked for a long time.
"Bang——" the glass in his hand hit the bar.
Fu Haoyao looked up at the sound and found that Cheng Xingzhou's face was frighteningly gloomy.
The boy looked down at the first message that popped up on the screen. It was from Fu Haoyao who had just posted it a minute ago.
The caption is a happy dog smiley face.
Below is a photo of a couple who aren't particularly close, but do seem to have a good relationship. In the picture, the girl is smiling and sitting next to the boy, who is looking slightly downcast, seemingly focused.
Who else could it be but Fu Liangxia, whom he had just thought was impossible?
The background looks very familiar. It is the place where Fu Haoyao usually hangs out on the second floor of the cafeteria.
It's because we can have lunch together at school.
Cheng Xingzhou stared at his phone expressionlessly, and suddenly felt like an idiot for his confidence just a few seconds ago.
What simple tutoring relationship? He seemed to be more than that.
But what was gratifying was that there was someone next to Fu Liangxia. The man's cuffs and hair were slightly exposed. The color was platinum, similar to Fu Haoyao's. It was Fu Langshu.
Not eating alone.
But, restore Langshu?
Cheng Xingzhou raised his head and stared at Fu Haoyao who was looking at him blankly on the sofa.
So, they are already in a relationship where they can meet each other's parents?
