"What?"
The old monk took out a triangular yellow talisman paper from his arms and handed it to Wen Jingxing.
"This is a peace amulet. When you give it to Song Wanning, you must put it on her yourself. This thing can ward off disasters for her."
He spoke with great earnestness.
Wen Jingxing couldn't help but ask: "Isn't it different if it's given by you?"
"no the same."
"What's the difference?"
"How come you two are exactly the same? You keep making things difficult for me! If you ask again, give my things back to me." The old monk couldn't find a reason to fool Wen Jingxing, so he got angry first.
Wen Jingxing touched the tip of his nose, knowing what the other person was thinking. He knew that the other person would never tell him even if he died, so he did not ask any more questions.
There must be some hidden secret, but the old monk doesn't want him to know.
Wen Jingxing has known the old monk since he was a child.
So you can trust the other person and believe that he or she will not harm you.
When he was alone with Song Wanning, he brought up this matter.
Song Wanning didn't believe in these things at first, but the old monk and Xiao Mi kept reminding her, so she couldn't help but become more cautious.
She agreed to let Wen Jingxing take it with her.
The old monk knew that Song Wanning would leave after staying for another day, so he did not keep the two of them in the afternoon. He left on the pretext that he had something to do and asked Song Wanning to take Xiao Mi out to play.
Xiao Mi had fun in the temple the whole afternoon. The old monk usually never bought snacks for himself, but when Song Wanning was around, she would agree to anything he asked for.
So he always liked to stay with Song Wanning.
In the evening when the sun was about to set, the old monk finally appeared, exhausted.
Song Wanning thought that she would be leaving tomorrow, so she specially prepared dinner for the old monk and Xiao Mi.
The old monk was quite happy.
Song Wanning always thought that the other party was a serious monk who did not eat meat or drink alcohol. However, when she was in the highest spirits, the old monk dug out a jar of wine from a corner of the yard.
Song Wanning suddenly began to doubt the effectiveness of the amulet.
The old monk said that it was peach blossom wine, which he had stored for decades and had never been willing to take out to drink. Even if he took it out today, he would only allow each person to drink one glass.
Song Wanning hadn't even tasted the wine yet, but she knew it was good just by smelling it.
So she took advantage of the old monk being a little drunk and secretly poured herself another glass.
Wen Jingxing looked at her greedy expression and said, "I won't drink this cup, I'll give it to you."
Song Wanning's face flushed, but her eyes were bright, "Really?"
"Yes, really." As he said that, he pushed the wine in front of Song Wanning.
Song Wanning accepted everything and drank it all.
The wine smelled good and tasted strong. After three glasses of wine, she was basically drunk.
I couldn't even sit steadily on the chair, and I kept swaying from side to side.
Wen Jingxing was afraid that she would fall, so he quickly put his arm around her shoulders and held her in his arms.
Xiao Mi sat on the chair, turning his round head to the left to look at Grandpa Sha, then to the right to look at Song Wanning. Then he ran to Wen Jingxing and tugged at his sleeve, "Brother Jingxing, what's wrong with them?"
"Drunk."
"What is drunk."
"It's just... I'm not conscious and often do stupid things."
"Really?" Xiao Mi touched her chin, thinking seriously.
"Well, you can help Grandpa Sha go back to his room to rest first. We can clean up the dishes tomorrow."
"Okay!" Xiao Mi agreed. He was most familiar with taking care of Grandpa Sha.
From the moment Grandpa Sha took him in and stopped him from wandering around, he was determined to take good care of Grandpa Sha.
Song Wanning was completely drunk over there, and her body became very weak, but Wen Jingxing still easily lifted her up and held her in his arms.
Wen Jingxing gently put her on the bed, then picked up the bucket in the corner and went to the hot spring to get some hot water. It was too slow to boil water on the stove.
He picked up another bucket, intending to bring a bucket of water to Grandpa Sha. Xiao Mi was so small that she couldn't carry it.
When he came back after finishing his work, he saw Song Wanning lying quietly on the bed, still talking drunkenly. Wen Jingxing leaned over to listen, and heard intermittent words: "Wen... Jingxing is... a stinky man!"
Wen Jingxing smiled helplessly. This woman was restless even in her sleep and was actually scolding him.
He reached out and pinched Song Wanning's smooth face, but Song Wanning frowned because of the coldness of his knuckles.
Wen Jingxing dodged his hand and put it into the hot water to warm it up. Then he took the hot towel and poured warm water to wipe Song Wanning's face and hands.
When wiping his feet, Song Wanning was particularly restless and kept dodging, so Wen Jingxing had to grab her ankles to prevent her from moving.
She sat up in a daze, "Huh? Why can't I move my feet?"
"Be good, just wait for me to wipe it for you."
Wen Jingxing spoke to comfort him.
When Song Wanning heard his voice, she immediately rushed forward, "Jingxing, Jingxing..."
She didn't say anything, just kept calling the other person's name. Wen Jingxing pretended not to hear him. After wiping her, he took off his coat. Song Wanning knew she was cold, so she hid in the quilt.
Wen Jingxing followed her movements and tucked her back into the bed, then he went to clean up the mess outside, throwing away what needed to be thrown away and washing what needed to be washed.
He placed the washed dishes in the basket to drain.
The cameraman in the corner accompanied Wen Jingxing and the cameraman.
The eldest brother took a long drag on his cigarette, clicked his tongue and shook his head, saying, "Young Master Wen is getting deeper and deeper into trouble!"
The cameraman scratched his head. "What do you mean?"
"Look, before this happened, could you imagine Young Master Wen cleaning up the dishes?"
The cameraman shook his head violently, "I can't imagine it."
"That's right, tut tut tut, Song Wanning is really blessed. Seeing them so happy, I feel relieved."
The cameraman complained, "Why are you acting like an old woman?"
Wen Jingxing cleaned up everything before going to take a shower. When he returned to the room, he found that Song Wanning had moved from the bed to the edge of the bed in a very dishonest manner. She was just a little bit away from falling to the ground if Song Wanning turned over.
He hurried over, put one hand through Song Wanning's neck, and reached the other hand under the quilt through Song Wanning's legs, then picked her up and moved her to the bed.
But at this moment, Wen Jingxing suddenly felt a cold and soft touch on his chin, which made him tremble all over and stiffen unconsciously. He looked down and saw Song Wanning sleeping soundly with her eyes closed.
Is it an illusion?
But their faces were some distance away, and if Song Wanning hadn't raised her head directly, she wouldn't have been able to kiss him.
Wen Jingxing put her down, pinched her face and called out tentatively, "Aning? Aning??"
But the person under him was sleeping very deeply and did not react or move at all.
