Chapter 27: Rumors Become More Outrageous

There was still no movement inside. Wen Jingxing finally couldn't stand it any longer and reached out to try to push the fence door, but found that it was not locked!

He gently pushed open the fence door and looked inside, only to see a blurry figure in the mist.

Wen Jingxing called out, "Wan Ning?"

The figure didn't move. He took a few more steps before he could see clearly. Song Wanning had most of her shoulders exposed and was leaning against the edge of the pool with her head tilted.

Wen Jingxing could only see half of her face. Her nose was straight and her eyebrows were relaxed. Her captivating eyes were tightly closed, and her eyelashes were long and curled, casting two fan-shaped shadows under her eyes.

Seeing that Song Wanning was just asleep, he let out a long sigh.

Without going any further, he retreated to the door, put his shoes inside, and left.

It was unknown how long it had been before Song Wanning suddenly woke up.

She immediately sat up in the sink and looked behind her. Her bathrobe and cell phone were still there, but there was an extra pair of shoes next to the door.

"Hmm? Wen Jingxing has been here?"

Song Wanning picked up the phone next to the pool and looked at the time. It was already 9:12.

Just then, someone knocked on the door. "Mr. Wen, are you alright? The director said it's time to gather and he wants to send everyone back to the small building."

Song Wanning quickly got up from the pool, dried herself, and put on a bathrobe.

The person outside saw some movement inside, but no one responded, so he asked again, "Young Master Wen? Are you in there?"

Song Wanning quickly hid her phone, ran to the door, put on her shoes, and said, "I'm coming!"

Then she reached out and opened the fence gate.

The staff outside were stunned when they saw that it was Song Wanning coming out, "Miss Song, why are you here?"

Song Wanning smiled and responded casually, "Oh, I like this hot spring of Master Wen, so I exchanged with him."

The staff didn't understand why, but they still led Song Wanning to the Ferris wheel at the foot of the hill.

After getting on the bus, other people arrived one after another.

Li Weiwei asked the driver to drive. At this time, Shen Yue suddenly said, "Director, isn't An An missing? Why are you leaving now? Aren't you guys waiting for her?"

Li Weiwei was shocked when she recalled the miserable state of Jian Anan when she first saw her.

Half of her face was swollen and her eyes were narrowed into slits. She looked like she had been beaten.

But women generally don't have the strength to do this. As for men, the only guests who participated were Jiang Mingzhao, Yunze and Wen Jingxing.

Jian Anan had not offended these three people, so she should not be beaten.

Besides, she insisted that she fell down herself, so Li Weiwei was too lazy to pursue the matter.

"An An fell again and scratched her face. She's been sent for treatment first." Li Weiwei didn't say anything special.

But Shen Yue reacted greatly, "What!? An An fell again? What's wrong with your production team? Why do guests always fall?!"

Jiang Mingzhao was startled by Shen Yue's slightly shrill voice. He frowned, "Jian Anan must have been careless in her walking. If it was the program team's fault, all of us guests would have suffered. If it was just her, then it was her own fault. Who can we blame?"

After hearing what he said, Shen Yue just snorted and rolled her eyes at Jiang Mingzhao.

Then he set his eyes on Wen Jingxing.

It’s a pity that the other party was always looking outside the car and never paid attention to what was happening inside the car.

Shen Yue thought to herself that Young Master Wen was still the best. No matter what happened, he would not say anything, unlike Jiang Mingzhao, who would always argue with her no matter what.

But he ignored the fact that Wen Jingxing was a man of few words and didn't care about other people's affairs at all.

Li Weiwei also looked unhappy. "If you don't believe me, get out of the car and ask her. Jian Anan said she slipped and fell."

Shen Yue choked. This place was so far away and it would take so long to get there by car. If she wanted to walk, wouldn't it take a long time?

Only then did she shut up and stopped talking.

After the car arrived at the small building, everyone dispersed.

Song Wanning followed behind Wen Jingxing, wanting to say something but unable to open her mouth.

Wen Jingxing noticed the hesitant look of the person behind him and glanced at the cameraman who had been following him since he got in the car, "Wan Ning."

"Hmm?" Song Wanning looked up at him.

Wen Jingxing suddenly stopped, stretched out his hand to support Song Wanning's shoulder, and then quickened his pace.

Song Wanning paused and did not resist, but followed his pace.

The camera guy has been trying hard to follow the filming, and he kept saying in his heart that it was great. Are the partner team he has always been optimistic about finally going to have a sweet relationship?

He was so engrossed in his work that his elder brother didn't even notice him until he reached the door of the building.

In the end, Wen Jingxing stared at him for a long time. After he came to his senses, he quickly ran away with the camera.

As soon as he turned around, the eldest brother sent a message in the camera crew's work group.

I hate be: [Big news! Big news! Big news! Important things must be said three times!]

Going to work every day: [If you have to fart, do it quickly. ]

Work hard and slack off: [Don’t keep us in suspense. ]

I hate be: [Today I saw Wen Jingxing and Song Wanning have their first intimate contact! ]

Working hard every day: [What the hell? Is this pairing going to become real?]

I want the lightest camera in the world: [How intimate! (expression)]

I hate be: [At night, on the way home, the two of them leaned shoulder to shoulder, holding hands!]

A group of people below were shouting "Eat melons".

I don’t know how the news spread, but it finally reached Li Weiwei’s ears.

However, by the time the news reached her, it had already changed into countless versions before it became the final version: Wen Jingxing and Song Wanning held hands on the way back to the small building!

Li Weiwei's mouth twitched slightly, and she looked at the message in the group with some disbelief.

On the other side, after Song Wanning entered the small building, she turned off the camera casually.

In fact, Li Weiwei had already informed the two of them about this matter, saying that they had to shoot some time in the evening.

It’s just a pity that both of them chose to remain silent.

Wen Jingxing even tacitly agreed to this matter.

Wen Jingxing turned around and looked at Song Wanning, who had been hesitating all the way, and said, "Ask, isn't it uncomfortable to hold it in all the way?"

It was just a casual conversation, but Song Wanning felt a hint of pampering.

She paused for a moment, then finally asked, "Did you put the shoes by the door?"

Wen Jingxing admitted directly, "Yes, I kept calling you after I came back and you didn't respond, so I helped you put your shoes in there."

"Then... have you come in?" Song Wanning kept staring at Wen Jingxing's eyes, trying to catch something from them.

Wen Jingxing raised his eyebrows, remembering that he had only walked a few steps closer and glanced at her face, and saw nothing else.

It would be better to just say that I didn't go in, so that she wouldn't have to think too much about it.

He shook his head, "No."

Song Wanning was a little skeptical, but didn't ask any more questions: "Oh, okay then."

She had other things to deal with and didn't have time to verify the truth, so she just wanted to ask Wen Jingxing for confirmation.
