Chapter 20 Saving the Princess Cursed by the Wicked Witch (20)

Yan Li stared at the tightly closed door in front of her and began to count in her mind: one second, two seconds, three seconds.

Not wanting to wait even a second longer, she turned around. Just then, a voice came, "Don't go."

"Is Ah Yan really unwilling to even push the door open?"

Wen Ze's black robe looked like a school uniform from the old days, the only interesting thing about it was that it didn't cover his flesh.

At this moment, Wen Ze's face was deathly pale, and his lips were almost colorless. His tall body was like a floating duckweed. Although he was standing, he looked like he might fall down at any moment, which made people feel sorry for him and unable to scold him.

Yan Li felt a little guilty after being asked this question.

“How could I bear to leave A-Yan out?” Wen Ze suddenly coughed and reached out his hand to Yan Li: “I’m very happy that A-Yan came to see me.”

Her fair fingers were long and slender, like green onions, without a single flaw.

The room was dimly lit, yet Wen Ze, standing at the door, seemed to be bathed in light, which softened his appearance, making him look like a god.

Golden eyes, like a calm sea, bring peace to the heart with just one glance, and even slow down the pace of breathing.

Yan Li approached as if bewitched.

Wen Ze's smile deepened.

He held his hand up slightly, palm facing up, fingers slightly bent, just waiting for his good Ah Yan to place his hand on his.

Can……

Yan Li's hand stopped at the most crucial moment, dodging the hand blocking her way, and then very naturally took a step closer, pulling the open black robe inward twice.

Seeing the neckline shrink and the abs no longer exposed, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Since the lord is not in good health, please be careful not to catch a cold again."

Wen Ze was stunned for a moment, and his hand, frozen in mid-air, was even more embarrassed.

This is not the outcome he wanted to see.

What he wanted to see was this person holding his hand, pressing against his body, and showing him loyalty in the most fervent way, rather than him deliberately tearing open her clothes to seduce her and pulling her back up himself.

Wen Ze's lips curled up slightly, "I knew A Yan had me in her heart."

Yan Li did not refute these words, but remained silent for a moment before saying, "Since the lord is alright, I will take my leave."

"Yes, I'm going to see the fourth princess tonight."

Having said all that, Wen Ze finally understood Yan Li's purpose in coming up here.

“Not today.” Wen Ze suppressed his smile, but the feeling of weakness did not fade; in fact, it seemed to have worsened, and he began to cough.

"Why?" This time, Yan Li didn't remain silent. She stepped forward to pat Wen Ze's back to help him catch his breath, but then uttered a surprising question:

"Has your condition become so serious that you can't even create dreams anymore?"

Wen Ze suddenly stopped coughing, and his harmless aura changed.

With lightning speed, he grabbed Yan Li and pulled her into the room, then closed the door behind him.

“Ah Yan, if you’re going to play dumb, you should play dumb to the end. It’s not a smart thing to expose this.”

Yan Li's hands were grabbed by Wen Ze with one hand and raised above his shoulder, while her back was pressed against the door and her legs were pressed down by his knees, leaving her no room to resist.

The man lifted her chin, and his golden eyes seemed to swirl with danger, conveying only two words: danger.

Yan Li smiled.

A slightly mocking chuckle almost broke Wen Ze's guard.

Yan Li: "Isn't this a game that lords can't continue playing?"

Actually, she didn't want to confront them directly, but the people lying in those crystal coffins downstairs weren't all the same, and in the so-called dream, there was only one princess.

If she doesn't do something and lets this person deceive her with false information, she might never find the real princess.

The room was extremely quiet, so quiet that Yan Li could hear her own heartbeat.

"The game can continue, but I want to use the rights we agreed on in advance."

Wen Ze suddenly let go, and Yan Li almost collapsed to the ground because her legs went weak. She quickly steadied herself and asked, "What if I don't agree?"

This time it was Wen Ze's turn to laugh.

He stood ramrod straight. "Does A-Yan think he has the right to choose?"

Yan Li looked up at Wen Ze, who was a little taller than her, and did not miss the mockery in his eyes and his indifference to life.

Clearly, to him, he felt like a mouse that had suddenly wandered into a cat's territory.

“Okay, I promise you.” Yan Li paused for a moment, “but I need to know where the real princess is, not those imposters downstairs.”

What I fear most is when the air suddenly becomes quiet.

“Naturally, they’re in those crystal coffins downstairs.” Seeing that Yan Li had agreed, Wen Ze suddenly stepped forward, picked her up, and walked towards the crystal coffins in the room.

“I didn’t lie to Ayan about everything. The rules the butler mentioned are all correct. Whether or not you can find them depends on Ayan’s own abilities.”

Yan Li tried to struggle, but her whole body was as if it had been acupunctured, and she was completely out of control.

Wen Ze carried Yan Li into the crystal coffin, then pulled her into his arms and held her tightly. "Tonight, Yan Li, stay with me. Otherwise, if you keep going to see the princess, I'll get angry."

He couldn't stand Yan Li's reasons for coming to see him anymore.

What's so great about that princess? If he wants money, he has plenty of it. If he wants women, is he really not even as good as a woman?

Wen Ze was unwilling to accept this, so he started to act shamelessly.

Realizing she couldn't resist, Yan Li began to carefully consider Wen Ze's words, pondering the possibility that she had been deceived.
