Chapter 43 Saving the Princess Cursed by the Wicked Witch (43)

The clock of fate has quietly begun to turn.

Upstairs, Yan Li, who had just finished a candlelight dinner with Wen Ze, was clearly enjoying herself and had drunk quite a bit of alcohol.

"Ah Yan, you're drunk." Wen Ze said, preparing to pick up Yan Li and carry her to the bedroom.

But Yan Li was out of her mind at that moment. She took the opportunity to hug Wen Ze's right hand with both hands and lean her whole body against him.

If Wen Ze hadn't been holding Yan Li around the waist, she probably would have fallen to the ground.

"I'm not drunk, Wen Ze, don't try to fool me." Yan Li blurted out without thinking. Because she was unsteady on her feet, she kept bumping into Wen Ze until the two of them fell into the sofa.

The sudden feeling of weightlessness stunned Yan Li for a moment, but she quickly came to her senses.

At this moment, she seemed unaware that most of her body was on Wen Ze's body, and her left hand was directly on his waist and abdomen.

He even touched it.

Wen Ze couldn't help but gasp.

He hadn't expected Yan Li to be like this when she was drunk, something he found hard to bear, yet he didn't want to refuse.

They really know how to choose their timing.

Ignoring Wen Ze's thoughts, Yan Li slowly lowered her head, moved closer to him, cupped his chin with her right hand, and gently lifted it:

"You promised to take me away, you can't lie to me!"

Wen Ze thought Yan Li was going to do something exciting, and was ready to close his eyes, but he didn't expect to only receive a single sentence that seemed to come out of nowhere, so he immediately laughed.

"I'm not lying."

Only a dim yellow light was on in the room, but Yan Li, who was committing all sorts of evil deeds on him, seemed to radiate a holy white light.

Yes, in Wen Ze's eyes, Yan Li was a radiant being.

He couldn't resist in the end. He quietly grabbed Yan Li's nape with one hand, suddenly raised his head, and kissed her.

At this moment, tender, inseparable emotions seemed to overflow from that glass bottle. No longer willing to be confined, yet afraid of being locked up again, they became more unrestrained.

Yan Li initially managed to cope, but later she was completely dominated by Wen Ze.

It's very addictive.

Thinking this, she slipped her hand inside Wen Ze's clothes, tracing his abs and teasing them little by little, as if that would somehow give her some face back.

Wen Ze had no choice but to stop, pressing down the unruly hand, and looking at the extremely drunk and confused Yan Li, he said helplessly:

"Ah Yan, if you keep touching me like this, I'm going to break my promise."

Breaking a promise?

That won't do.

Yan Li immediately became obedient upon triggering the keyword.

Upon seeing this, Wen Ze's lips curled up slightly. He then looked out the window and, realizing that it was almost time, picked the person up and carried them out the door.

The crystal coffin was also stored on the fifth floor, which was directly opposite the master bedroom.

Wen Ze carried Yan Li through the corridor and once again into the room that the butler had prepared so well. Then he placed the person in his arms into the crystal coffin once more.

This time, however, the coffin wasn't laid flat; instead, Yan Li was placed against the head of the coffin.

Meanwhile, Que Fu, who was on the second floor, thought the time was right and began to carefully slip out of his room and head towards the fifth floor.

This wasn't his first time visiting the castle; after observing it several times before, he was fairly certain of the location of the master bedroom.

Que Fu stopped in front of a door without hesitation, prepared for the possibility that he wouldn't be able to open it. He reached out tentatively, while his other hand, which was about to grab a tool, suddenly stopped.

The door wasn't locked?

Que Fu was startled, yet felt it was normal.

It seems that Wen Ze really trusts his territory and believes that no one can kill him in his own home.

But he is about to pay a heavy price for his arrogance.

He slowly pushed the door open a crack, and the dim yellow light inside the room came into view.

Apart from the flickering candlelight on the dining table and the curtains swaying in the wind, Que Fu could not see a single person.

He couldn't help but pull the door open even wider.

Even after he had completely entered the room, Que Fu still didn't see the person he wanted to see, nor the one he wanted to kill.

impossible.

He's been downstairs the whole time. Wenze and Ali haven't come down either, so they must still be there.

Thinking this, Que Fu strode into the house and walked to the dining table, where he saw the leftover food and the three empty wine bottles.

He then began a frantic search of the room.

But Que Fu soon realized that Wen Ze might have taken Yan Li to another room.

With that thought in mind, he no longer hesitated, stepped out of the room as quickly as possible, and looked around.

Que Fu had finally pinpointed the location of the master bedroom, only to find it empty. Now, he had no idea which room Wen Ze might be in.

The castle is so big, he might not find anyone even if he searched until dawn.

Que Fu felt a little regretful.

He regretted waiting until midnight, knowing that given his physical condition, killing him shouldn't have been a problem.

It was too late for regrets.

Just when Que Fu was feeling somewhat discouraged, fate suddenly opened a window for him.

In the ancient castle, which had become one with the darkness, a sliver of light seemed to appear in a room on the fifth floor, which happened to be caught by Que Fu's gaze.

With the mindset that things had come to this point, and he might as well take a gamble, Que Fu went to look for him.

Meanwhile, in the room with the crystal coffin, Yan Li was placed inside the coffin before realizing that she had once again lost control of her body.

Yan Li: That was really too hasty.

Through this experience, she deeply understood the meaning of four words: drinking leads to trouble.

Her head rested on the coffin head, her hands drooping limply, as she wondered what kind of trouble Wen Ze was going to cause this time.
