Swallowing hard, Xiao Qi placed his hand on Jing Li's forehead.
Her temperature is normal... so why is she starting to talk nonsense?!

The atmosphere instantly became tense and hostile.
Everyone held their breath, trembling and staring intently at the scene.
Jing Li, however, seemed oblivious to the gun pointed at her. With an anxious expression, she pointed at Xiao Qi on the ground, ["He's my man. Your men attacked first."]
Xiao Qi, still dazed and confused from the beating, blushed instantly. Damn it, who's her man? Shameless...
[Put down your gun!]
The other person's eyes were filled with vigilance as they warned.
Jing Li glanced at the staff member lying on the ground with her chin. She explained in English that she had no intention of getting into a conflict with them. Her friend was injured and wouldn't make it to tomorrow without treatment. If they didn't want their plans to go wrong, they should bring the medicine she needed as soon as possible.
