Zheng Lin was sitting in the garden sipping coffee when two people suddenly appeared on the path and walked towards him.
The younger one among them was He Ru, whom her mother hadn't seen in a long time; her mother recognized her as her goddaughter.
"Brother Zheng Lin." He Ru called out, but didn't dare to sit down directly, as Zheng Lin had always disliked her.
He Rong stood behind He Ru, giving her a strong sense of confidence.
Zheng Lin gestured for her to sit down, then turned to He Rong and said, "Mom, we're just getting to know each other, are you going to watch us?"
