Chapter 91 Sunrise
Early in the morning, Shi Yin heard the shrill sound of the alarm clock.
I slept late last night, so I was sleeping soundly when I suddenly heard a sharp sound. I frowned and said unhappyly, "It's so noisy!"
Wen Jin raised her hand to turn off the alarm clock under her pillow and looked at the note on it.
Go watch the sunrise
She said last night that she wanted to watch the sunrise this morning, but looking at her now, she definitely can't get up by herself.
Shi Yin curled up in the quilt, held by Wen Jin from behind, and slept all night. Now she drifted off to sleep again, in a deep sleep.
The curtains were drawn tightly, and one couldn't see how bright the day was outside from inside.
Wen Jin slowly withdrew his hand, got off the bed, gently opened the curtains and looked outside.
It was gray and the sun had not yet risen.
He turned around to look at the little girl who was curled up in the bed and sleeping soundly, then walked over and wrapped her in the quilt and picked her up as if she were a child.
He went downstairs, walked towards the beach, and put her on a soft chair.
The sea breeze was a little chilly in the morning. He raised his hand to cover her head with the quilt, leaving only a small gap so that she wouldn't suffocate. After a moment, he sat down next to her.
With legs crossed, she looked at the sea in the distance, her eyes calm, as if she was enjoying the tranquility and peace of the moment.
Finally, the sea level in the distance was painted a warm golden red, and the sun was about to come out.
Wen Jin took off the quilt covering Shi Yin's head and said in a clear voice, "Open your eyes."
Shi Yin slowly opened her eyes, and what she saw was the morning sun emitting endless rays of light. It was so beautiful and shocking that she couldn't take her eyes off it, and she had no time to think about how she appeared here.
The magnificent morning sun gradually rose from the sea level, and countless golden rays of light shot out. The brilliant light enveloped the earth, giving the city a layer of gentle light.
"We've seen the sunrise, let's go back and have dinner." Wen Jin stood up and wanted to pick her up and take her back.
Shi Yin immediately said, "I can walk back by myself."
Although the way back to the hotel seemed quite close, she felt exhausted just thinking about walking back with someone in her arms. She was sleeping so soundly that she didn't even realize Wen Jin was holding her to watch the sunrise.
"You're not wearing shoes."
Shi Yin glanced at the beach and saw that there were indeed no shoes. Helplessly, she could only hold out her hand and wait for Wen Jin to carry her back.
After returning to the room and washing up, Shi Yin looked at the clothes she wore yesterday and didn't want to keep wearing them.
But I came in a hurry this time and didn’t bring any clothes with me, so I’m afraid I can only wear them for another day.
At this time, a woman's voice sounded at the bathroom door.
"Is Miss Shi in there? Mr. Wen asked me to bring you some clothes. I left them at the door."
Shi Yin immediately said, "Okay, thank you."
"You're welcome. I'll be leaving first then."
Shi Yin opened a small gap and took out the clean clothes at the door. It was a long dress with small floral patterns, which was very suitable for the tropical weather.
She put it on and then walked out of the bathroom.
Wen Jin was standing on the balcony outside looking at the distant scenery. Shi Yin appeared behind him quietly, stood on tiptoe and covered his eyes from behind.
Lowering his voice, he asked, "Guess who I am?"
Wen Jin: "Little rabbit."
"wrong!"
"Little fox."
"wrong!"
"Little Tiger."
Shi Yin's head was filled with black lines, "Can't I just be a human being?" She let go of her hand, looking as if she was doubting her life.
I know he's teasing me on purpose.
"Do you have any plans for today?" Shi Yin asked.
"Not yet. Is there anything you want to do?"
Shi Yin thought about it seriously, "I do! I really want to experience the feeling of playing with my phone in a different place."
Wen Jin understood what it meant to stay in the hotel for a day.
But it's ridiculously hot in S City during the day, so it's better not to go out. In this kind of weather, if you go out for a walk, you can take a shower after coming back from the sweat on your body.
If you want to go out and play, the best time is in the evening.
"Sure. There are a lot of entertainment facilities in the hotel. If you get tired of playing with your phone, you can try something else."
"Well, let's go eat."
The breakfast was a local specialty. Shi Yin picked up a bowl of baoluo noodles and started to eat. Outside the window was the endless sea and the scenery was very beautiful.
After breakfast, the two returned to the presidential suite. Shi Yin fell on the sofa and played mobile games, while Wen Jin read the script. Both of them were on the sofa, neither disturbing the other.
Ji family
"Grandpa, look at me. I was pushed off the balcony and my foot is injured like this. Don't you feel sorry for me?"
Old Master Ji looked at his granddaughter's aggrieved accusations and patiently tried to persuade her.
"I've seen the video the Bai family sent me. You were the one who tried to push him down, but he dodged. He also tried to hold you back, but he wasn't strong enough to pull you down."
"It's fine if they don't mind your reckless behavior, but why do you let me cause trouble for them?"
Old Master Ji knew that his granddaughter was willful, and since his daughter had been missing and no one had found her whereabouts, he put all his love on his little granddaughter.
But it’s okay to spoil her for minor quarrels, but we can’t let the little girl act recklessly when it comes to major issues.
What's more, he dared to push someone down the building today. If we continue to tolerate him, who knows what shocking things he might do in the future.
Ji Yan felt aggrieved. "Grandpa! It was that woman who was against me in every way in the company. I was so impulsive because I was so angry. She was against me in every way in the company. It's only right that I teach her a lesson!"
Old Master Ji's face darkened, and Ji Yan swallowed back what she was about to say.
"Grandpa~" She pulled the old man's sleeve and shook it, "Just put pressure on Shi Yin to kick her out of the company, okay?"
Although Shi Yin is now on loan to Tengsheng, he will come back sooner or later.
Grandpa Ji touched her head lovingly and said, "No. You are already so old, you should understand things. Since you are being bullied in the company, grandpa can't bear to see you suffer."
"I remember that Yuan Ning's new head of design is Xiao Xu, right? He's been favored by the Ji family before. If you're ever bullied, go find him and he'll naturally defend you."
Ji Yan knew that if she continued talking, this stubborn old man would not help her turn on the time sound, so she had to give up and turned her head away unhappily without paying any attention to him.
Seeing this, Mr. Ji shook his head helplessly, this girl.
She's acting like a spoiled brat again.
"Okay, don't be angry. I bought a ruby necklace at an auction a few days ago. I'll have someone bring it to you later."
Ji Yan snorted, "I don't want it!"
Mr. Ji had no choice but to get up and leave her room.
After returning to the study, he looked at a family photo on the table and gently stroked the face of a young woman in it with his thumb.
After a while, he sighed heavily.
