He muttered something under his breath, his eyes searching around again.
Sure enough, there were quite a few medicinal herbs dotted around.
For a moment, his heart seemed to be pierced by a ray of light.
All of this was seen by the old Yuantou, who hurried forward and asked: "Changyuan, what treasure did you find?"
"Look at these, they are all good herbs."
Chen Changyuan pointed a few times and said, "Yinghusuo, Fritillaria, oh, and this seven-leaf lily! They are all valuable."
Old Yuan's eyes widened: "How can you recognize these?"
"Well, I flipped through a few medical books a few years ago and learned it blindly."
Chen Changyuan stood up straight, his eyes looking into the distance. "Old Yuan, how about we collect these herbs and sell them in the county? I think we can make a lot of money, right?"
The old man stroked his chin and weighed it carefully: "It's a good idea. But, can you do it alone? Gathering herbs is much more troublesome than hunting."
"What's the big deal? Just find some free time young people to help!"
Chen Changyuan slapped his head and said with a smile, "I get paid by the day, which is definitely better than digging for food in the fields."

Old Yuantou was shaking his old hands and slapping his thighs so hard that they made a crackling sound.
In the evening, Chen Changyuan returned home.
His mother, Fang Suxia, was busy at the stove. When she heard footsteps, she turned around and asked, "Changyuan, have you settled the matter in the back mountain?"
"Let's sign the contract tomorrow morning, it's a done deal!"
Chen Changyuan responded and picked up some firewood and threw it into the stove.
Hearing her son's words, Fang Suxia's face was full of smiles, but in the blink of an eye, she couldn't hide the worry in her heart.
