The next morning, the bus was parked in the parking lot, ready to take each group to their respective mission locations.
Mingzhuo found the vehicle for the S-class mission. It was a small bus, which was understandable, since very few people dared to participate in S-class missions.
Moreover, the team leader this time is a new teacher, and many people are hesitant, worried that the new teacher lacks experience and cannot handle unexpected situations.
Nobody wants to lose their life in a muddle, so participating in an A-level mission still yields a good number of points.
Mingzhuo noticed that there were people in the car. Shen Boyuan had arrived earlier and was discussing the itinerary with the driver.
Su Changqing walked over from the side and said with a smile, "Teacher Ruan, Assistant Shen is quite reliable, isn't he? You haven't participated in the training, so you can rely on him for anything."
Mingzhuo understood his implication and was somewhat speechless. "Teacher Su, now that I've become a teacher, I will be responsible for my students to the end."
Su Changqing made an OK sign, indicating that she understood and wouldn't say anything more. Then she handed something to Mingzhuo, chuckled, and left.
Mingzhao: "..."
No, you don't understand, I'm serious.
When she looked up, she saw Shen Boyuan looking down at her from the car with a cold gaze.
Seeing her looking over, Shen Boyuan spoke in a slightly cold voice, "It's better to say some things in advance. I accepted the S-level mission because I want to train myself and because I want to be responsible for the lives of the students. If anything goes wrong, I will abandon the mission and lead everyone to retreat."
He stared intently at Mingzhuo, "But the people I'm responsible for are only the students, absolutely not the teachers."
Mingzhuo waited for two seconds, then said, "Is that all? Okay, I understand."
She yawned, walked past the other person to her seat, and sat down. Being a teacher is tough; having to assemble at five o'clock is just too inhumane.
She just wanted to sit down and catch up on her sleep.
Shen Boyuan: "..."
It's like punching cotton, so frustrating.
The first student to arrive was Chu Yuqi, and several other students arrived one after another.
Besides Li Wenhe and the others, Zhuang Xun, Fang Linxiao, and two other people basically all chose the S-level mission group in the top five.
"Is everyone here? Can we leave now?" someone asked.
The driver glanced at the list and shook his head. "There's still one person who hasn't arrived."
At the same time, a timid voice rang out, "I've arrived, but teacher, I gave the wrong name! Could you please switch me to the C-level task group?"
Bu Qianqian was almost in tears. She had reported this to the teacher last night, but she didn't expect that when she came to the assembly this morning, she was still in the S-level task group.
She was terrified early in the morning.
She was timid and went to three teachers in the C-level group to try to join, but they all told her to talk to her own supervising teacher first. She was a little hesitant to speak, and because of this delay, several cars had already left.
Shen Boyuan also realized the seriousness of the situation. "Why are you only saying this now?"
He hurriedly got out of the car, and after taking only two steps, two more cars drove away from the parking lot.
"That's Group C's car! They're gone!"
Bu Qianqian's face turned pale: "What should we do, teacher? Group C has all left!"
Shen Boyuan's expression darkened slightly. "There's no other way. You should withdraw from the competition."
Bu Qianqian's eyes widened, and they instantly welled up with tears. "Teacher, I don't want to withdraw from the competition. Please, Teacher Ruan, give me a chance!"
Shen Boyuan subconsciously turned around and saw Ming Zhuo walking over at some point, and his muscles tensed up instantly.
"Teacher Ruan, you'd better think this through. This assessment is not a game..."
"no."
Two voices rang out at the same time, and Shen Boyuan paused, stopping himself from speaking further.
Bu Qianqian looked confused. She thought that at least Mingzhuo supported her. "Teacher Ruan, but you've already let He Wangyao and Pei Di sign up, why can't I be included?"
Mingzhuo: "Teaching Assistant Shen has already made the reason very clear. This is an S-level mission, not child's play. No one can guarantee your safety."
Bu Qianqian's voice was already trembling with tears: "Is it because I'm so bad that I'm just a burden?"
Mingzhuo patiently explained, "That's not how it is. You need to know that nothing is more important than your life."
Chu Yuqi suddenly spoke up, "Don't He Wangyao and Pei Di's lives matter?"
In her view, Mingzhuo's every word was an excuse.
Mingzhuo replied calmly, "They have all been on field missions with me, and we have a tacit understanding. The situations are different."
He Wangyao has a pure Yin constitution, which gives her a natural attraction to ghosts and evil spirits, and gives her a unique advantage.
Pei Di, on the other hand, had been with her for over a decade. This guy was a big, strong man. Although he wasn't very powerful, he was easygoing and had a strong sense of insensitivity, which, in some ways, gave him a certain ability to ward off evil.
Most importantly, they trust themselves and will carry out any of their own instructions without hesitation.
"What's the difference? Can't we cultivate tacit understanding?" Chu Yuqi thought to herself that since they had already torn off all pretenses, she might as well establish a straightforward persona.
"And I remember that once registration is confirmed, the teacher doesn't have the right to refuse to accept a student, right?"
Bu Qianqian seemed to have been awakened and hurriedly ran to the car.
He pleaded pitifully, "Teacher, please don't send me away."
Shen Boyuan was silent for a moment, then said, "You must promise to be obedient and not cause any trouble, and stay close to me the whole time."
Chu Yuqi smiled and took Bu Qianqian's arm, "I'll take care of you."
Mingzhuo was not surprised at all; he had already guessed it.
She looked directly at Chu Yuqi and said, "Take care of me? Forget it. It's precisely because of people like you who act on their own initiative that it's even more unsafe."
