The table was covered with bloody raw meat, in large chunks, as well as whole chickens and ducks. Blood was flowing down the table to the ground, and the fishy smell was so strong that Changyao almost vomited.

The other monsters were eating happily, and her voice seemed abrupt and abnormal. Almost all the monsters looked at her, with murderous intent in their eyes.

Yi Wu smiled and tried to smooth things over. "She looks so naive. With her limited talents, she can only eat grass. And grass is not as delicious as meat, right?"

As she spoke, she reached out and scooped up two chickens, tossed one to Ling Hua, then turned and pushed Chang Yao out. "Don't disturb the brothers. I'll take her outside to find some grass. This is useless."

Yiwu opened her beak, ripped a piece of meat from the chicken leg, tilted her neck back and swallowed it. Blood flowed from the corner of her mouth to her body, but she was completely unaware, as if she had long been accustomed to it.

Her movements were very natural, and the other monsters gradually dispelled their doubts and withdrew their gazes, continuing to pick up the meat in front of them and devour it.

"So those herbivorous movements are very weak. What strength can eating grass bring?"

"that is……"

"I really want to eat the ones in the cellar. Can you kill one?"

"You want to die? That's going to be fed to the blood demon vine. You dare to think about it? Watch out for your life."

Amidst the discussions, Yi Wu and the others gradually walked away.

When passing by the village gate, she specifically looked up and asked the little demon on the watchtower where there was grass nearby, and then took Ling Hua and the others there.

After walking a long way, Changyao looked at the chicken that she had taken a bite of. Her stomach churned and she couldn't help but bend over and lie down beside the tree, retching continuously.

Ling Hua and Liu Yu looked at her, then turned to look at Yi Wu, their eyes a little indescribable, but also filled with admiration.

It's not that Changyao is being pretentious. Ordinary people would feel uncomfortable after seeing the scene just now. But in order to dispel the doubts of those monsters, Qin Mo swallowed the raw meat very naturally, as if it was not something difficult to accept.

Ling Hua bowed to her, "Thank you, Brother Qin, for helping us out. Otherwise, we would have been exposed."

Yiwu waved her hand, broke off two branches from the side, skewered the chicken on the branches, handed it to Liuyu, and went to look for a stone.

Guessing what she was going to do, Ling Hua hurried to help.

The three of them may not need to eat these things, but Qin Mo is a mortal after all and needs to fill his stomach.

Liu Yu looked down at the notch on the chicken leg, his heart aching and he felt a little breathless.

Only someone who had truly experienced starvation could eat raw meat without batting an eyelid. How on earth had she managed to survive those days after leaving the Underworld?

A simple stone stove was quickly built. Yiwu piled firewood and started a fire, then placed the chicken on top to roast. Worried that the thick smoke would attract the attention of the demons, she would occasionally summon a breeze to blow away the smoke.

The vomiting sound stopped at some point. Changyao turned around while holding onto the tree and saw Liuyu staring at Yiwu with a look of heartache.

She was vomiting here, and no one came to comfort her. Instead, everyone was surrounding Qin Mo. Changyao felt very uncomfortable, but she was also really curious about who this Qin Mo was.

In a fit of rage, she twisted her right hand and slapped Yi Wu, "Demons and ghosts, show yourself now."

Hearing the sound, Liu Yu immediately released a stream of immortal energy, colliding with her spell and protecting Yi Wu. He looked over with a cold face, "What are you doing?"

Ling Hua turned around, looking displeased. "Changyao, have you forgotten what I said before? Qin Mo just kindly helped you out, how could you repay his kindness with hatred by revealing him? What if the demons discover us?"

"War God Linghua, didn't you see the look Liuyu gave him just now? He felt sorry for him, he actually felt sorry for him?" Changyao's eyes flickered between Liuyu and Yiwu, not missing a single detail. "You don't know Liuyu, but when has he ever cared so much about someone else?"

"I suspect he has known Qin Mo for a long time. No, I suspect he knows Qin Mo's true identity but is pretending not to know."

The woman's intuition told her that there was definitely something wrong with Qin Mo.

Yi Wu's heart skipped a beat. Her feather-covered face was expressionless as she glanced at Liu Yu calmly. "Is Fairy Changyao so interested in my identity? How can my identity affect Immortal Lord Liu Yu's attitude towards you? Would he be more attracted to you without me?"

The other party has targeted her repeatedly, and everyone can see her little tricks. Now, in order to verify her guess, she actually wants to show her true colors.

She is the demon saint whom the demon king is eager to execute on the spot. If her identity is exposed here, it would be like a sheep walking into a tiger's mouth.

Changyao's face turned pale and blue when her little thoughts were exposed in public. She glared at her angrily and left with a cold snort.

Ling Hua frowned, "Changyao! Where are you going?"

"I'll report this to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and have him bring his troops over to wipe out these ignorant beasts!"

The sound was getting farther and farther away. Changyao flew up and quickly disappeared in front of them. Ling Hua hurried to chase after her.

"Wait," Yi Wu stopped him, "Don't try to persuade her. I think this is a good idea."

Ling Hua paused and looked back at her. "We still don't know the strength of the Demon King. What if His Royal Highness the Crown Prince leads his troops here and fails to defeat the demons, and ends up being captured by them? How will I explain this to the Heavenly Sovereign?"

Yi Wu rotated the branches to roast the chicken more evenly, still speaking in a leisurely tone, "Brother Linghua, remember, the purpose of our trip was originally to gather intelligence, and later we added the goal of rescuing hostages. It was never to defeat the Demon King."

"If the immortals attack under the pretext of rescuing their compatriots, the demons won't suspect you of ulterior motives. During that chaotic period, we can take advantage of the opportunity to investigate whether there are any blood demon vines here."

"I will persuade them to leave. If the Demon King is unwilling to leave, then there must be something important here that he cannot bear to part with. We will take advantage of the chaos to rescue the hostages and then retreat. If they choose to abandon this village, then there must be nothing here worth our trouble to search. We will follow them..."

She carefully explained her plan to Ling Hua and finally convinced him.

After pondering for a moment, Ling Hua nodded, "This is indeed a win-win solution. Liu Yu, you stay and cooperate with Qin Mo. I will go to Wanming Kingdom to meet up with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and then bring the troops here."

"Tentatively, we plan to launch the attack tomorrow night. If they don't come tomorrow night, we'll launch it the day after tomorrow. If they don't come the day after tomorrow, it must be something unexpected. You'll all find a way to leave here."

He turned his head and flew away, "Remember, be careful in everything."

The incident happened suddenly. Changyao and Linghua left one after another, leaving only Yiwu and Liuyu in the forest. The quarrels and arguments disappeared, and a deep silence suddenly fell.

Yi Wu looked down at the roasted chicken on the branch, waving her hands from time to time to disperse the smoke, looking as if nothing had happened.

The fire was getting smaller and smaller. Liu Yu picked up a few dry branches and threw them in, and the fire started to burn again.

No one spoke. Yi Wu didn't dare to ask whether Liu Yu knew her identity and what it was. If he said he knew, how would they get along? She might as well pretend that she heard nothing.

She didn't say anything, and Liu Yu also remained silent, and they tacitly let go of what had just happened.

The burning branches made crackling sounds, and the aroma of meat gradually wafted out. After the chicken was roasted, Yiwu handed the intact chicken to Liuyu, waved her hand to extinguish the firewood, and disposed of the ashes.

Without spices, the roast chicken tasted a bit bland, but Yiwu was not picky about food. She finished it in a few bites, then found a thick and big tree, climbed up and lay down to sleep.

Liu Yu leaned against a tree, closed his eyes and took a nap.

No one disturbed us, and apart from the occasional rustling of leaves in the wind, there was no other sound.

As the sun was setting in the west, the two men were slowly walking back to the village and were caught by the wolf demon.

He looked outside, his face full of suspicion. "You four went out, but only two came back? Where are the other two?"

"Hey, I just scolded that rabbit a few times, and she ran away in anger. Brother He went to find her." Yi Wu shook her head and complained, "She has no special abilities and a bad temper. If she gets caught by the immortals, you'll know how powerful she is."

She went back to her room, yawning, "I'm so sleepy..."

When the wolf demon came in, Yi Wu was already lying on the bed, snoring. He stood there for a moment, then turned to remind Liu Yu, "Stay in your room tonight and don't run around."

Liu Yu nodded obediently, and the wolf demon turned and left.

The room was filled with all kinds of evil smells, even the stench of rancid meat. It was not a good place to sleep. They couldn't sleep at all and just pretended to sleep.

As night fell, not many demons returned to their rooms to sleep. Many beds were empty, and no one knew where they had gone.

In the early morning, there was a scolding sound outside. Yi Wu quietly opened her eyes and patted Liu Yu with the back of her hand.

The room was pitch black, and they couldn't exchange glances, but Liu Yu understood what she meant. He quietly sat up and listened attentively.

"Hurry up, stop dawdling."

"Keep your voice down, don't disturb the king's sleep."

Yi Wu quietly slipped to the window and was about to climb out when she noticed that there were demons standing guard in the corridor outside and stopped.

She turned back to where she and Liu Yu slept, cast a deceptive spell, reached out and grabbed Liu Yu's wrist, and disappeared from the spot. When she opened her eyes again, they had already disappeared and moved to the cellar.

The demons were grabbing a dozen mortals from the cellar, stringing them together with iron chains, and dragging them out of the village gate.

During lunch, they said that the prey in the cellar was to be fed to the blood demon vine, so the place the demon clan was going to now should be where the blood demon vine was.

This is clearly the demon clan's territory, so why are they secretly feeding the blood demon vines...

Yiwu and Liuyu cautiously followed them, making their way around to the back of the village and over a hill. A thick fog suddenly rose in the valley, and as they walked, the demons and mortals ahead disappeared without a trace.

"It's the fog," Liu Yu pulled her back, "Let's go back first."

The fog ahead is getting thicker and thicker, and we have now lost any trace of the demons. If we continue forward and get lost in the fog, we will probably be trapped here.

Yi Wu originally wanted to find the Blood Demon Vine, use the Devouring Magic to destroy it, and then find a chance to rescue the dozen or so mortals, but she didn't expect that the demon tribe had spread fog.

There is still one day left until the agreed time, and we cannot alert the enemy now. Even though we are very unwilling, we can only return to the village first.

Their guess was correct. There was indeed more than one blood demon vine. The demon king used this strange thing to cultivate a large number of demon soldiers. What exactly did he want to do?

On the way back, Yiwu kept thinking about what she had seen and heard today, putting herself in the position of the demon king, and thinking about what the bright future that their demon clan talked about was.

The bright future of the demon race...

The moonlight was bright. Liu Yu turned to look at her. "What are you thinking about? You look so sad?"
