Chapter Ninety-Seven: The Dwarf Emperor

"Is things still not calming down outside?"

"Caw! What a strong wind!"

"The Emperor?! Is it alright to leave two outsiders here like this?"

"He's...he's a master!"

"Your Majesty! Did you see that earlier? That man is definitely a master!"

"What terrifying power! He closed the door with just one hand!"

!

"..."

The young dwarf known as the "Emperor" sighed as he silently put on the fake beard beside him, making him look much more serious.

"Hello, I am King Andriva Apennines Ymir."

The dwarf king spoke in a voice befitting a young boy, and his cloak gave him a rather good sense of style... at least much better than the other dwarves who wore tight vests.

But the dwarf lolis have pretty good figures... if you ignore their beards, they're actually quite cute.

However, the dwarf king seemed more serious and composed than other kings of his time... which is what Inra defined as "this is how a king should be - a medieval monarch".

“I am Inra Elkaras, from the Demon King's territory…”

Yinla introduced himself in this way, but the other party obviously did not recognize Yinla... Before Yinla became famous because of what happened before, he was actually only defined as a "relatively strong legend".

Although they are quite well-known, they are not to the point that everyone knows them.

Now, the Dwarf King looked puzzled. His understanding of the outside world was still based on the time when the demon-ruled region and the empire made peace, so he found it strange that a human would come from the Demon King's territory.

Amidst the other's confusion and the loud whispers of the other dwarves, Yinra pointed to Ernie beside her and introduced her, saying, "And she is Ernie, from the Elemental Plane, an outsider."

"..."

"..."

These words, once spoken, could not be explained by ordinary doubts... The Dwarf King, Andrivar, naturally did not believe them at first, but after Ernie slightly revealed a bit of extraordinary power, his furrowed brows immediately turned into shock.

"Outside...wheels?"

Andriva, who was about the same height as Satan, stared wide-eyed, his beard twisting to one side in shock—in truth, he wasn't entirely able to gauge the extent of the power of the Extraordinary...after all, he had never actually seen the Extraordinary.

However, all he needed to know was that this fire elemental named Ernie truly possessed power beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.

So these two people who came to see me need to be treated with caution, but before that...

"Humans without the power of mana, and outsiders... what a strange combination."

The dwarf king, having said this, quickly changed the subject... He ignored the clamor of his dwarf subjects below, such as, "Emperor! Leave such a being to us!"

"The blizzard continues outside. If you have any needs that you have come to the land of the dwarves in such weather, please feel free to speak up... However, you should be able to see the current situation."

Andriva straightened his beard, his meaning clear—the dwarves were now forced to take refuge underground, and even if they needed help forging divine weapons, they would have to provide the materials themselves.

In the minds of the dwarves, if someone travels a great distance to come here, it must be something extremely important...

Having read many novels, Andriva made some powerful connections. The strange combination of Ira, who lacked Mana fluctuations, and Ernie, an outsider, coupled with the ominous aura emanating from the far north, led him to think of the existence of something like a "savior weapon."

He even had a doubt in his heart—if I were really asked to forge the [Sword of Salvation], would we dwarves be able to forge it with our current level of skill?

"We are heading north to investigate the details of this [extreme cold calamity]. Our destination is the far north... In fact, our messenger has already visited the Dwarf Kingdom once, but he did not find you in the storm."

As Yinla spoke, he looked at Andriva and said, "In the letter I was going to send you, I wrote a warning... Have you experienced the calamity of the rampaging monsters?"

After Imra finished asking the question, before Andriva could even reply, one of the dwarves immediately burst into angry wailing: "To hell with your teeth! My bharal! My bharal, waaaah!"

Hahahaha... Waaaaaaah!

!

At his lament, the dwarf beside him immediately burst into laughter, mocking the wailing dwarf: "What are you up to now? Hahahaha!"

!

"You bastard!"

"

"What?! How dare you?!"

"..."

Yinla watched the two dwarves fighting, then silently turned his gaze back to Andriva... This way, at least they could be sure that they did indeed have the feeling that a calamity had occurred.

However, in terms of extent, it is indeed as the Three Towers statistics show... the losses are very small.

"Don't worry about it, they've always been like this."

As the dwarf king Andrivar spoke, a hint of weariness appeared in his eyes... This world is truly fascinating; it seems that a normal king is always paired with an abnormal race, and there's always one who's not quite normal between the king and his subjects.

"You've really worked hard."

Yinla comforted him, then continued with the important matter: "The current prime material plane is experiencing... the second calamity, originating from the far north, a calamity that was once sealed by the gods, and now it has reappeared."

Andriva had already guessed about this... He had felt an epic mission from the very beginning.

Andriva jumped off the throne... because his legs were too short.

The Dwarf King stood before Yinra, looking very serious, and said, "So, are you the destined hero to save the world? What do you need me to do? Forge armor that can withstand the cold?"

As he spoke, Andriva gently raised his head to look at Illa, then at Ernie, and said, "To ask the angels for spring water, the dwarves for armor, the elves for magic, and the monsters for power... to meet companions from the nine realms along the way, and ultimately save the world?"

"..."

Yinla was taken aback. He didn't know why Andriva was suddenly saying these things. He shook his head in confusion and said, "No, I just wanted to draw your attention to the fact that the next calamity should be the calamity of the [Sea]... Are these prophecies you know?"

If the gods left behind any prophecies...

Thinking this, Yinla quickly analyzed the new information she had just obtained, but soon...

Andreva: "No, that's a plot I saw in a novel."

"..."

Yoonra: I'm really impressed.
