Chapter Seventy-Eight: Satan Ye Goes Mad

The magic armor exclusive to the sword shark should be able to protect its head and strengthen its beak, which is like a sharp blade, without affecting its vision. Of course, it should also come with the magic armor's ability to enhance the flow of mana.

However, if one wants to enhance physical attributes at the same time as the magic armor on Satan Leaf, the manufacturing cost of the Sword Shark Magic Armor would become quite expensive, so a trade-off must be made.

After all, not all materials can efficiently bear the power of Mana.

"Sever it!!"

Satan Leaf's soft call interrupted Ira's thoughts. He watched Satan Leaf, protected by the insect people, weave and kill among the monkeys, and then quickly lowered his head to think about what needed to be done after the forest was cleared.

This cleanup operation is only planned to cover a very small area, roughly three to four times the size of the existing agricultural and livestock areas... well, perhaps it's not that small.

(Warcraft: Look at this, is this even human language?!)

Ira felt a crimson glow flash past in his peripheral vision. He looked up and saw Satan's scythe pulling a monkey that was about to retaliate down from above and then instantly severing it.

It was a monkey that was leaping down from the tree with a fruit shell in its hand, intending to smash the Satan Leaf on the head with what it was holding, but during its fall, it was caught on the back by a sickle.

Then, with the downward force of the Satanic scythe, the monkey's body... along with its flesh, bones, and internal organs, was separated—a true case of "meat chopped and bones broken."

Blood and flesh splattered rapidly on the ground, and a little of it also stained Satan Leaf's body, but she didn't care... because this was a long-awaited opportunity for her to vent her emotions.

Perhaps this is a common problem among champions—they always feel powerless because of their own incompetence.

In fact... they don't need to show their usefulness, after all, Ira is very useful.

"Drink up!"

It resembles a tightly swung, impenetrable scythe, which looks very imposing, but in reality, if it were not cutting these monkey-like monsters, but rather carnivorous creatures or armored animals with harder bodies, it would immediately be reduced to its original form.

Ira wasn't too worried about Satan's safety, after all, there were insectoid soldiers following him around... Take the monkey that jumped down earlier as an example, if Satan made a mistake, the nut shell, which actually had no killing power, wouldn't hit Satan's head.

Just as it was about to attack Satan Leaf, it was riddled with holes in mid-air by the spears of the insectoid soldiers.

It was merely a side trip to let Satan witness bloodshed and slaughter. This expedition was less of a "campaign" or a "trial," and more of a "battle" that was only slightly better than "playing."

It's like trying to help slaughter pigs in the village.

As Ira thought this, she looked at the lesser demons and goblins following behind the group, working together to cut down trees. For some reason, she felt that their actions were somewhat dangerous.

Before the trees fall, could they be spread out a little?

"Gob~ Gob~"

The goblins worked together, pulling the saw. Although they could speak Common Tongue, they were now cheering each other on in their goblin dialect... something like a "one, two, one" chant.

Meanwhile, the lesser demons paired off and sawed the wood. As two of the major labor-producing races in the Demon King's territory, they cooperated seamlessly, chanting, "Goblin~ Goblin~"

"..."

Why are you all speaking the goblin dialect too?!

Ira, who was mentally complaining, was about to turn around to check on Satan Leaf's condition when he noticed something was wrong... The tree being sawed over there seemed a bit fragile.

Before the little monster could even kick it in an uninhabited direction just before it was about to break, it was already creaking and looked like it was about to collapse.

However, in the direction that was about to collapse, a little imp and a goblin were diligently sawing.

"..."

"First Wing Pillar"

As Ira chanted softly, Mana was summoned by him. Satan Ye, who felt a small portion of his magic being drawn away, looked in Ira's direction... even though it was only a very small part.

After all, most of the mana is provided by the World Tree.

"Scarlet Dragon"

Ira pulled the trigger, and just as he had predicted, the tree slowly toppled, casting a huge shadow over the two panicked little demons and goblins.

Almost simultaneously, they immediately abandoned the jammed saw and turned to run away, but at this moment... hiding to either side of the tree was the only solution, even though there might not be enough time.

So, as he ran away, he turned his head and saw that the little demon and goblin had frightened expressions.

"span!"

【First Wing Pillar - Crimson Dragon - Wingspan】

Mana, who had condensed into crimson wings, suddenly unfurled her beautiful wings behind Ira, and almost in the next instant, Ira had already flown to the side of the already fallen tree.

"bump!!!!!"

Hovering in mid-air, Ira unleashed a spinning kick, its legs glowing with crimson flames, which struck the tree trunk in slow motion, producing a thunderous sound.

It wasn't until the little demon and the goblin blinked that they saw the tree trunk flying away at incredible speed, and then they felt the explosive force of the airflow brought by Ira's rapid approach.

Finally, they saw Ira standing there, her clothes slightly twitching, calmly watching them.

So handsome, he's really too handsome.

"..."

"You're probably not injured, are you?"

Ira's eyesight wasn't so bad that he couldn't tell whether the two little monsters were injured or not. He interpreted their blank stare as being frightened, and he said with a sigh, "It seems that we still need to find an opportunity to formulate the operating procedures for the work."

This leads to more and more problems.

Shaking his head helplessly, Ira turned and returned to the main force. Only then did the lesser demon and goblin react. They stared at Ira's back with fervor, not for any other reason... but simply because he was too handsome.

They couldn't understand any of the "operating procedures" or anything like that. All they knew was that Ira had saved their lives, and that her actions were incredibly graceful and cool.

“Mr. Ira? We’ve found a tree hole.”

"Um?"

As Ira asked this question, she looked in the direction Satan Leaf was pointing. There seemed to be a tree that had long since collapsed, with something hollowed out in the center to store something, which looked like fruit or something similar.

Are they used to store uneaten food? Thinking about it that way, these monkey-like monsters...

"Sniff~"

Wait! It smells like alcohol!?
