Chapter Seventy: Training Completed

When Ira and the Demon King's forces arrived here, they marched, but on their return journey, they didn't have to endure such hardship. They chose to go back by boat... aboard a ship piloted by sea monsters.

Yes, everyone sat safely on the ship piloted by the sirens, because everyone knew that they had no room for resistance and could do nothing more.

Ship capsized? Then the sea surface will be petrified.

Is the flight path wrong? But the constructs can sense the direction of the Demon King's territory.

Venturing into dangerous waters teeming with monsters with the hope of mutual destruction? The real danger lies with those monsters themselves.

Even now, the three leaders of the sirens are gathered in Ira's room, being scrutinized by him... Of course, Satan is also there, and the other leaders are watching from outside the room.

"We are just..."

Just as the merman leader was about to offer some explanation, Ira interrupted him, saying, "You are nothing but a bunch of traitors, a bunch of despicable betrayers, slaves who have no reason to exist."

"but……"

Ira stopped the mermaid leader with a look, coldly saying, "What 'but' is there? The Gorgons chose betrayal, and you seem to be no different."

"Perhaps it would be better if you all died here, just like Gorgon... If you want to say anything more, soon your mouths will really be as hard as your mouths, and then I will smash them and throw them into the sea."

Ira spoke without any politeness, looking out at the boundless sea, then glancing at the mermaid leader who pretended not to hear anything... She was the one he feared the most.

Seemingly noticing Ira's gaze, the other person immediately withdrew their furtive glances and lowered their head, trembling.

The other leaders, peering through the windows from outside, seemed somewhat reluctant... but they said nothing, for the betrayal was indeed a fact, and they already knew the reason for Ira's attitude.

High pressure can instill fear, while comfort under high pressure can foster loyalty.

"In the Demon King's kingdom, there are both you and Gorgons. So, killing you all will not wipe out the world's sirens; it will only reduce the number of traitors and useless slaves."

Ira spoke coldly, his mouth still open, but he, who was not very good at this kind of thing, was at a loss for words—he couldn't bring himself to say anything that would insult the other person's parents and relatives.

Even if vulgar language would be very effective in insulting the other person's character, he still couldn't think of it or say it... So this role of the bad cop (or good cop) was a bit difficult for him to play.

Do you think you still have any value?

Ira asked this question, but the three leaders in front of him lowered their heads and didn't dare to breathe. He wanted to laugh but held it in, and shouted angrily, "I'm asking you a question. Are your fish ears just for decoration? Salted fish?!"

The three sirens who had been called "salted fish" by Ira seemed to react somewhat. The Naga leader frowned and said, "We are the Demon King's only naval force, and we are the only ones who can build ships, and also..."

Ira felt that was enough, so she waved her hand and belittled the other party: "Shut up! You are worthless in my eyes! Your flesh and souls are probably the best resources for the Demon King's territory."

As she said this, Ira looked out the window at the headless horse leader—Lotia; and Lotia nodded in agreement, saying, "The losses this time were extremely heavy (four), and we urgently need souls to replenish our forces, but I doubt whether the sirens are qualified, because they are merely..."

At this point, Lotia seemed to run out of things to say; she was really embarrassed.

"That's right, you're all just trash, the worst of the worst, utterly useless."

Ira continued, placing his hand on the head of the Naga leader, who was the most defiant, lifting her head and forcing her to look at him. He met her resentful eyes and said, "Can you sing? Sing it for me."

"..."

Seeing the Naga leader remain silent, Ira indifferently glanced at the Mermaid and Merfolk leaders beside her and said, "Whatever. If you're not going to sing, I'll play games with the other two."

"You two have a good relationship, right? I'll lock their hands to the steel pipes on their heads, and their feet and tails will be on red-hot iron plates. They'll start dancing. At that time, even if you sing, it's just to add to their dancing fun."

"..."

Looking at the Naga leader who was silently bowing his head, and then at the other two whose faces had turned pale, Ira wondered to himself... Could he have misunderstood the relationship between the three of them?

But since things have already come to this, let's just pretend to scare them for now.

"Someone, prepare one..."

But before Ira could finish explaining her arrangements, the Naga leader raised her head, tears of humiliation streaming down her face, and gritted her teeth as she said, "You devil! What song do you want to hear?"

Her former colleagues all just watched, and even Satan Ye didn't have any intention of helping them... Loneliness, helplessness, and pitifulness made her feel a deep sense of self-reproach—if she hadn't betrayed the Demon King's territory back then, would things have been different?

"Your voice is awful, I don't want to listen... Let the other two sing!"

Ira belittled the voices the sirens were most proud of, but the three of them no longer had the energy to be angry. Instead, they were like three corpses, completely at Ira's mercy.
