Good morning, Demon Lord! Yesterday, a total of 30 little demons were exhausted! Six of the little fairies alone collapsed from exhaustion, but that had nothing to do with Yinla and Satanye, and of course, the orc girls too~
Where's Sylvanas? Sylvanas is indeed with the fleet! Anyway, let's all welcome the first day of our voyage!
(Sylena: Ugh!)

(It seems like Selina's seasickness isn't going to get better...)

"Raphael, are you getting used to living in Hell?"
"..."
Although the other party greeted him, Raphael did not respond immediately. He glanced at the demon god in a suit and tie, and then closed his eyes again.
He didn't like doing other things while praying... although he himself didn't particularly dislike being disturbed.
Mephisto was roughly aware of this, after all, today was Sunday, although she herself did not think that there was any need for prayer now that the "death of the gods" was almost a fact.
A few minutes later, Raphael finally raised his head and looked directly at Mephisto.
"How are the preparations for the teleportation portal going?"
Raphael asked this question, then simply stood up, his black wings unfurling behind him. He said, "I was just asking a question, I didn't mean to urge you."
From this perspective, Raphael is a very good teammate. His integrity is a trustworthy form of justice. It's just a pity that from the very beginning, Illa stood on the opposite side of justice.
Driven by their beliefs, they must become enemies.
"My sisters are getting ready... But you, do you usually live here?"
In response to Mephisto's question, Raphael looked around at the houses casually built of stone... and they were indeed made of stone, not castles built of cut stone bricks like those of other fallen angels.
Raphael seemed to have no intention of living in the castle under construction, even though the fallen gods had specially reserved the largest, closest to the heavenly realm, and most prestigious position for him.
"There's no need. After my trip to the prime plane, no matter the outcome, I will never return to hell."
As Raphael said this, looking at the eldest of the three Prime Evils, who was a head shorter than him, he said, "If Illa were Chaos, then I would immediately rush to the next battle to save the world..."
If it wasn't Yimra, then the outcome is self-evident.
“I have a question: what if Inla Elkaras is just a mortal bewitched by Chaos?”
Mephisto asked, looking at Raphael who had been serious throughout, "So what would you choose? The former or the latter? To live or to die?"
"the latter."
“You are a celestial knight.”
"..."
Mephisto's meaning was so obvious that Raphael shook his head with a sigh once more, and said again: "We and mortals are all children of the gods. We are the elder brothers and mortals are the younger brothers... There is no difference, Mephisto."
Mephisto didn't understand what kind of twisted persistence this was. The most fundamental logic of this world is that the strong always do whatever they want to the weak... not to mention the present day when the Age of Gods has long since vanished.
Even in the Age of Gods, apart from the Celestials who served as the armies of the gods, there were still countless conflicts between the Prime Plane and the other seven realms... even holy wars waged to protect their respective gods.
This gentleness, this steadfastness, are all unnecessary things.
"What talk of elder and younger brothers... There are no gods to oversee you anymore."
Mephisto crossed her arms as she spoke, looking at Raphael's resolute face, and asked, "You who call yourself the 'elder brother,' did you risk falling from the heavens just to fulfill your duty to protect your younger brother?"
[I highly recommend Yeguo Reading; it's really good for tracking books. You can download it here: yeguoyuedu. Give it a try!]
That would be ridiculous.
"Why not? You should already know what's written on the stone tablet."
As Raphael spoke, he shook his head as if reminiscing about something, and said, "I and the gods are prepared for the same thing. Now that the gods are lost, it is time for the eldest brother to fulfill the duties of a father... whether it is to discipline or to protect."
In other words, if Illa is merely a mortal bewitched by Chaos, then all Raphael can do is try to persuade her to return to the right path while trying to bring her back to life? Isn't that a bit too naive?
And then expect Inla Elkaras to take over his responsibilities and protect the world?
Raphael seemed to have just stepped out of a fairy tale world; his ideas were far too idealistic. In fact, even self-talk has its limits, and he had already done everything he could.
"I really find it hard to judge you, Raphael..."
Mephisto didn't know what to say. She found Raphael's logic very interesting. She said, "Do you think Inla Elcaras, whom you inexplicably regarded as an enemy, would appreciate your kindness?"
Putting yourself in Mephisto's shoes, you'd definitely not have a good attitude.
"Whether you appreciate it or not, what does it matter? How could I possibly entrust you with this responsibility? You don't have the time for that; and I certainly can't hand over the responsibility to Veresa and the others... I don't need to explain why."
Raphael, having said this, no longer wanted to continue the topic. He shook his head and said, "I will only do what I am supposed to do. If I am destined to die, then I will tell everything to Illa Elcaras, and everything after that is none of my business."
It was clear that Raphael held Illa in very high regard, even at the level of "outside the realm of reason," yet he still wanted to kill Illa, even though he knew... Illa was almost certainly not Chaos itself, but merely its agent.
At that point, Raphael couldn't just stand by and watch Illa be killed by him... so the ending was almost inevitable.
...
It was highly unlikely that Illa would survive under Raphael's command, and what Raphael wanted to entrust to her would hardly leave any trace in Illa's heart... at least that's what Mephisto thought.
And it's almost certain that Raphael wouldn't trade his life for Illa's...that's a fact.
In other words, almost nothing changed after all this, and no disaster was avoided... except that Raphael died. If Inra could use Mana from the "Outside the Logic," then Inra Elkaras would have become even stronger.
Everything is as it always has been; nothing has changed.
...
"What is Raphael thinking?"
On her way away, Mephisto was thinking this when she suddenly realized that Raphael had said, "I and the gods are prepared for the same thing," and in that instant, she understood everything...
This is an even more ridiculous answer—self-destruction.
"I just want to commit suicide. I don't want to watch the world end and regret not doing anything, so even if it's a hindrance, I want to do something anyway... Raphael."
"You're a coward who's good at using 'justice' to justify your own weakness."
