Lin Yang shouted at Lin Xue behind him.
"I know!"
Lin Xue's voice trembled, and her hands shook, but she still managed to find the key and struggled to open the door.
Unfortunately, the gaps in the cage were too small; although she could reach her hand out, she couldn't bend it precisely.
"I can't open it!"
Lin Xue's voice was trembling with sobs.
She knew they might only have this one chance.
Lin Yang's expression changed. He first viciously knocked out the leader of the black-clad men who was still struggling on the ground, and then looked towards Lin Xue.
"It's okay, just toss the key to the person across the street."
Lin Yang let out a low growl at Lin Xue.
The room was not large overall, and the cells were very close together. The space was small, except for a few individual cages.
They were basically all locked up together.
The person on the other side has longer arms, just enough to reach the lock on this side.
Lin Xue obediently threw the key in her hand into the other cell.
But the person on the other side just glanced at it indifferently and remained unmoved.
"Quickly open the door for us! If we open the door for each other, we can go out together!"
Lin Xue shouted anxiously.
The person on the other side remained unmoved.
"Give up. Maybe once we're sold, a good buyer will let us go."
"This place is so big, and there are so many guards, there's no way we can escape."
A girl across from him spoke softly. Her eyes were closed and her face was expressionless. If she hadn't spoken, Lin Yang would have thought she was dead.
Lin Xue froze, then looked at the other people in the other cell.
With the same expression and the same indifference, it was clear that he shared the same thoughts as the girl who had spoken.
