Chapter 162 The Treasure Map Has Fallen

Ding Na paused in applying powder, glancing sideways at Lin Yang.

"Just don't get in my way."

"Just don't overact."

Lin Yang retorted, and he was genuinely a little worried about her performance style.

After tidying themselves up, the two walked side by side toward the Red Sun Club, neither giving way to the other.

After passing through security, they showed their membership cards and were able to enter the club smoothly.

The club's interior was lavishly decorated, almost to an excessive degree, which ironically made it seem rather vulgar.

Lin Yang and Ding Na also swayed slightly as they walked around the club, keeping an eye on their surroundings.

"You dance terribly."

Seeing that Lin Yang's movements were stiff and uncoordinated, Ding Na teased him.

"You don't look like someone who can dance."

Lin Yang searched for suitable places nearby, but he didn't expect her to still be in the mood for jokes.

He saw that Ding Na was just twisting her body erratically, but luckily she had a good figure and looked alright.

He actually noticed that there were some special areas on the second floor of the clubhouse, which were guarded by dedicated security personnel.

Suspicion arose, and it was guessed that the treasure map was likely hidden in a room on the second floor.

In order to get closer to the restricted area on the second floor, the two deliberately chatted with the people around them and asked questions, trying to get more information.

After getting information out of a drunk customer.

They learned that there was a private banquet hall on the second floor, which only a few important guests could enter.

It is said that some valuable items are on display, but the guest said he did not know exactly what they were.

There were two security guards standing guard at the entrance to the staircase leading to the second floor, so it was obviously impossible to force your way up.

Ding Na's eyes flickered, and she suddenly shouted.

"Oh no, I've had too much to drink, I'm going to pass out."

After shouting, Ding Na stretched her back and was about to fall backward.

She didn't inform Lin Yang beforehand, catching him off guard.

He rushed over and managed to catch her just before she made contact with the ground.

Their movements were so exaggerated that they quickly attracted the attention of the surrounding crowd and the two security guards at the stairwell.

Ding Na winked at Lin Yang, signaling him to continue acting.

Having made no preparations whatsoever, Lin Yang had no choice but to bite the bullet and begin his performance.

"Oh no, it's alcohol poisoning!"

Lin Yang announced loudly, as if afraid the security guards wouldn't hear him.

He picked up Ding Na, who was pretending to be unconscious, and rushed to the security guard in a show of urgency.

“This beautiful woman is suffering from acute alcohol poisoning, which is very dangerous. I know first aid, and it’s too stuffy downstairs. I need to go up and give her emergency treatment.”

The two security guards hesitated for a moment, but seeing Ding Na lying lifelessly in Lin Yang's arms, Lin Yang could barely hold her.

It doesn't look fake.

"We can't delay. If someone dies here, this place will be sealed off. I'm going up to rescue them. I won't wander off."

Lin Yang quickly added fuel to the fire.

The security guard saw that there were indeed too many people on the first floor, and there was almost no room to step, so he had no choice but to let them pass.

"Come down after you've rescued the person, don't wander off."

"Can I still run?"

Lin Yang gently lifted Ding Na, who seemed unconscious, from his arms and quickly walked up the steps.

Ding Na relaxed completely, with all her weight resting on her arms.

He really could barely carry Ding Na anymore.

When they reached the second floor, Lin Yang's face turned red from holding it in, but Ding Na still showed no sign of getting up.

He practically threw Dina to the ground.

Ding Na let out a cry of pain before sitting up, somewhat displeased with Lin Yang's rough treatment of her.

"You seem a little weak, Dr. Lin."

Lin Yang was panting and didn't want to argue with her.

Ding Na isn't good at acting in other roles, but she's incredibly convincing when she plays a dead person.

He pointed to the entrance of the banquet hall, signaling to Ding Na to stop talking nonsense and get down to business.

The banquet hall door suddenly opened, and the two quickly hid in a blind spot.

A group of people surrounded Kameda as he walked out.

Kameda was dressed in traditional Japanese clothing, his face full of a smug smile.

He was whispering something to the person next to him.

Lin Yang and Ding Na took the opportunity to observe the banquet hall and discovered that there was indeed a hidden door in the wall next to it.

After Kameda and his group had gone far away, Lin Yang and Ding Na quietly approached the hidden door.

Ding Na took out a special lock-picking tool from her bag and carefully cracked the door lock.

The door lock was opened.

The two pushed open the hidden door and slipped inside.

At the end of the room was a spacious room. As soon as Lin Yang entered, he noticed the red safe in the center.

"Look! A safe! There must be something inside!" Ding Na's eyes were instantly drawn to the safe, and she exclaimed.

They speculated that the treasure map was likely hidden in this safe.

I picked up the safe and examined it closely. The safe had a complicated combination lock, and I tried several times but had no clue what to do.

Ding Na lost her patience and took a small hammer out of her bag.

Lin Yang noticed that her bag was only slightly larger than his phone, and couldn't help but feel curious.

"What's in your bag?"

Ding Na ignored him and swung her arm to smash the safe.

With a loud bang, the hammer broke through a layer of skin, but the safe appeared to be undamaged.

Lin Yang was about to stop Ding Na, who was about to smash the box again.

Then they heard hurried footsteps outside.

Lin Yang and Ding Na quickly put the safe back in its original place and hid in a corner of the room.

A moment later, the door was suddenly pushed open, and Kameda walked in with several of his men.

Kameda's face was terribly gloomy as he coldly surveyed the room.

"I knew someone would come to cause trouble. Search them! Find them!"

His men immediately began searching the room.
