At the same time, the bar doors were opened again.
A well-dressed couple walked in. The woman looked at the greeter with an arrogant gaze and said, "We want to go in."
The greeter became noticeably more enthusiastic when she saw the couple, and she cheerfully took out two small signs from a drawer.
He handed it to the two of them.
"Please come in."
Lin Yang's eyes turned slightly cold as he watched this scene, becoming even more certain that there was something wrong with this bar.
Watching the couple enter the bar, Lin Yang frowned and turned to look at the greeter.
"Tell me! What's that sign? Why were those two allowed in?"
Lin Yang's eyes were sharp as a knife.
The greeter was terrified by the stares, but showed no remorse whatsoever, as if she were already used to such things.
They weren't afraid that Lin Yang would notice something was wrong.
"They are guests invited by our boss. Since they are friends of the boss, they can naturally go in."
“They’re going in to see the boss. Do you still want to go in and see him? If not, leave now, or I’ll call the city management officers.”
The greeter was confident and his words were perfectly reasonable.
Lin Yang took a deep breath and did not leave. Instead, he went inside the bar and looked around.
The interior of this bar is no different from other bars, with a bar counter, dance hall, and liquor cabinet.
Lin Yang deliberately touched the corner of the bar and the wine cabinet, trying to see if there were any buttons that led to the underground.
The greeters behind him stood there watching, muttering that Lin Yang was suspicious and what he was doing at the bar in broad daylight.
Lin Yang glanced at the other person indifferently, his cold gaze silencing the greeter.
"Have you finished watching?"
Seeing that Lin Yang had circled the bar, the greeter finally lost his patience.
Lin Yang nodded, his eyes deep, and left the bar temporarily.
"How is it?" Ding Na asked Lin Yang as she answered the phone.
Lin Yang recounted the situation to Ding Na, who was not surprised.
"When we investigated before, it was the same. It seems that they have some kind of code. Only those who know the code can see the boss and enter the den of iniquity."
Lin Yang responded and hung up the phone after realizing he wouldn't get any information. He stood there for a while, about to leave.
"We've arrived."
A somewhat cold female voice came from the alleyway not far away.
Lin Yang's eyes narrowed, and he subconsciously held his breath and focused.
This street is full of bars, and few people come here during the day.
This bar is quite remote as there are no other bars nearby.
Therefore, anyone appearing in this area is only here because they're here for this bar.
"I'll look around the area first, and then go in tonight."
really!
Lin Yang's eyes narrowed; it seemed this woman was also heading towards the underground demon cave.
"Who goes there!"
We've been discovered!
This woman is no ordinary person!
It should be noted that Lin Yang had already used the technique of concealing his aura to hide it just now; it was only a change in his eyes.
The woman strode over, twisted her wrist, and without any weapon in her hand, and even while holding a phone in her right hand, attacked Lin Yang without hesitation.
"How dare you, you petty scoundrels, eavesdrop!"
The woman's eyes were cold, her hands moving non-stop. She casually told the person opposite her that she had put her phone in her pocket and focused on attacking Lin Yang.
"Hey, hey, hey, who's the scoundrel here? Is this the only street you're allowed to walk on?"
While responding to the woman, Lin Yang tried to lower her guard, and at the same time dodged her attacks.
Seeing how fast Lin Yang moved, the woman's eyes grew colder. Ignoring Lin Yang's words, she attacked even faster, kicking him in the chest.
Lin Yang grabbed the woman's thigh with his other hand, turned around to dodge the woman's attacking hand, and tried to subdue her with his other hand.
The woman was quick as well, her five fingers forming claws as she grabbed at Lin Yang's neck.
Lin Yang didn't stop moving, tilting his head slightly to dodge.
In the end, Lin Yang acted faster and subdued the woman.
The woman's expression changed as she was restrained. Lin Yang looked at the woman and tentatively spoke.
"Which side are you on, the police?"
During the fight, Lin Yang noticed that this woman used many of the same moves as Ding Na: fast, accurate, and ruthless, yet leaving room for maneuver.
They seem to be from official circles.
The woman's expression changed, and she struggled even harder.
Seeing this, Lin Yang was completely certain of the woman's identity and was secretly delighted.
"We are not enemies."
The woman paused in her struggle: "What proof do you have?"
Lin Yang called Ding Na again to prove that he was not a member of an illegal organization, and the misunderstanding between the two was cleared up.
The woman's name was Su He. She was an official in the area, and her purpose in coming was similar to Lin Yang's—to investigate the child's disappearance.
“We kidnapped two people who were planning to come here, extracted their information, and then planned to posing as buyers to enter.”
"If you want to come together, I'll have my partner give you the admission ticket."
Su He spoke up.
"Thank you." Lin Yang nodded in agreement and thanked Su He gratefully.
Su He glanced at Lin Yang coldly and said, "No need to thank me, just don't hold me back."
Lin Yang touched his nose and nodded in agreement.
Su He and Lin Yang were replaced by a couple. Lin Yang quickly disguised himself and Su He, and they went hand in hand to the bar they had visited that morning.
"Please come in, gentlemen. Seats have been reserved for you."
The greeter was the same one from the morning, only the attitude had changed.
Lin Yang nodded lightly, smiled, and reached out to take the name tag and put it on himself and Su He.
"Honey, let's go."
Su He glanced at Lin Yang, nodded, and handed her hand to him.
Lin Yang put the sign on Su He.
It was only after receiving the invitation that Lin Yang realized it was different from invitations from other places.
The invitation to this underground den of iniquity was actually a tie with a special symbol around a man's neck.
The greeters recognize people by their ties; he was stopped this morning because he wasn't wearing a tie.
Lin Yang followed the waiter forward, and the waiter led them through the bar to an indoor office and pushed open the door.
"Please come in, both of you."
Lin Yang and Su He exchanged a glance and nodded slightly.
No wonder he didn't find anything in the morning; it turned out the passage was hidden in the office.
"Distinguished guests, it's been a long time."
A deep male voice suddenly appeared. Lin Yang turned around and saw a man in a black robe smiling at him, his eyes obscured.
A large black hat covered most of the man's face, leaving only his mouth exposed, and his chin was hidden in the wide collar.
"haven't seen you for a long time."
Lin Yang responded in a low voice, his voice slightly hoarse after he had disguised himself.
"What's wrong with our honored guest's voice..."
The man asked with concern.
Lin Yang's heart beat slightly faster. "I've been a little hoarse these past two days."
"The weather is dry, so it's easy to catch a cold. When we met a few days ago, your voice was perfectly fine."
The man in black sighed in a low voice.
